[Sorry if this isn't that long. This is just me filling up my free times in class.]

You have a crush and her name is Jennie Kim—the school's most excellent student and the principal's daughter and that was exactly why you can't confess to her—because you were the least attractive guy in your class and you are... a nerd—at least that's what the other students call you.

But you weren't alone. You have your own group of friends and they were Lisa, Rosé, Felix and Chan. The two girls are friends with your crush so sometimes, when you hang out with them, Jennie would be there with them but you never talked to her—not even a word, not even a greeting.

One day, you actually got a chance to talk to her and you didn't let it go to waste. You talked about how she has been, how classes were for her if she gave herself any rest and everything that you could ask your crush.

It all led from one thing to another and you couldn't believe what she asked you later in the conversation. The question made you question if you were dreaming or if it's reality.

"Y/n can I ask you something?" She asked and you looked at her.

"Sure—what is it?" you replied.

"I actually like you a lot. So uh... will you go out with me?"

The question made you went quiet for a while before finally answering her. "S-sure—I mean, yes! I would love to go out with you!"

And so it happened, you and Jennie started going out—you and she did everything couples do when they are out on a date.

It was fun while it lasted. You found out one day that the reason she asked you out was that she was dared by her friend, Wendy and she told you Jennie never liked you in the way you expected her to. Nevertheless, you continued to treat her as if what you had with her was real.

"Y/n, I actually have something to tell you..." Jennie said to you during one of your dates with her. You already knew what was coming so before she could tell you, you smiled softly and put your hands on her shoulders, "It's okay Jennie... I know... It was only a dare that you were given by your friend so..."

She sighed and looked down before hugging you tightly. "I am sorry Y/n..." she mumbled and you hugged her back, looking at her dearly—you wanted to shout at her for lying but something inside you was holding you back.

"Jennie... even if you don't feel the same way as I do towards you, I want you to know how much I like—no, how much I love you."

She looked up at you with teary eyes and shook her head, "who said I didn't feel the same way towards you? I do like you Y/n... I was just afraid that you didn't feel the same way." She explained and like magic, her words cast the pain away from your heart.

The two of you stared at each other for a while before laughing.

"I love you, Jennie Kim." You exclaimed after the laughter stopped and she smiled widely, "I love you too, Y/n." She said back before pulling you for a kiss—your first kiss and you loved it.
