The silence in the usually occupied hospital gallery was sending a weird nagging feeling to Bela.
Bela's mind kept telling her that something was off... She could feel eyes on her...as if someone was following her and she could not afford any risks regarding Suhani and her baby.
With a more alert eyes, She looked everywhere but could not find anyone.

She quickly went to her locker and took out Suhani's reports and reached the Gynaecology department.

Avyan too had joined them....and he softly greeted Bela and told her that he took care of any suspicious media attention.

And now was the time for the diagnosis.
Bela checked with Suruchi if everything was ready for Suhani to which she nodded.

Dr. Suruchi asked - So parents!
Ready for the scan??

Hell yes Doc! - Avyan replied giving his best charming smile and Suruchi rolled her eyes

Suhani was nervous and she held Bela's hand.

Bela patted her head lovingly and
made Suhani lay on the examination bed and Suruchi applied gel and began the ultrasound.

And suddenly the monitor began to produce a sound....the heart beat of the Baby!

The sound held everyone stilled in their places and it was Dr. Suruchi who spoke the first - You hear that sound?

That's your baby's heart beat!

Avyan clutched Suhani's hand in his and spoke softly - Our Baby!
And Suhani shed a tear and nodded her head.

Suruchi explained the details about the foetus and both the parents were nearly in tears.

Thank you Bela!
You are the Best!!!
I don't even know what would I do without you!
Thank you for looking after my Suhani and our baby!
And thank you Dr. Suruchi! - Avyan spoke in gratitude

Hey!
That's my niece/nephew we are talking about!
I would be damned if I let someone hurt even a single hair on them! - Bela beamed in happiness

Now, both of you, Go!
I will take care of everything from here! - she nudged suhani to go with Avyan

As she had to fill other details and she assured that she will personally take care of all the reports.

Suruchi was filling in the data in her system when she frowned.

What is this Bela? - asked a baffled Dr.
Suruchi

What is it Dr.? - Bela pretended to be busy with papers

There might be a mistake!
These reports have your name as the expecting mother! - Suruchi spoke not beating around the bush

This not a mistake Suruchi!
I.... I don't want suhani to face any humiliation or judgements before her marriage! - replied Bela fidgeting her fingers

This is insane Bela!

Bela spoke - Suruchi, calm down please!

Once, Avyan and Suhani are married, they will announce their pregnancy.

It can be really chaotic if someone finds out about these paper! - suruchi spoke concerned

Suruchi sighed and said - Bela! You need to loosen up girl!
How would you find some one to care for you if you won't let anyone in?

I tried setting you up with so many of my friends but you never say yes to meet them!
And here you are complaining about who would care for you? - suruchi rolled her eyes

Bela just smiled at her Friend and spoke - I am good Suruchi, really!
I don't really want any guy to walk into my peaceful life!
I am happy this way! Aren't I??

Suruchi just shrugged her shoulders and said - One day....One day Bela, I am sure there would be a guy who would break all your walls and pull you out from your pain and your nightmares!

Blah... Blah... Gowd Suruchi!
You are hopelessly romantic and you know I am the exact opposite! - replied Bela

Now I gotta go! - Bela replied rolling her eyes and left from there

Bela was passing by the gallery holding the file securely when suddenly she was pulled by a strong arm and she gasped.

The man quickly closed the door behind them and pinned Bela to the nearest wall.

Well, hello there Beautiful! - smirked Dr. Avinash Batra holding Bela captured between the wall and himself

Dr. B...Batra!
W.....what are you doing???
Let me Go! - Bela glared

Is everything ok Bela???
I saw you going to the Gynaecology department! What's wrong? - Asked Avinash in concern

For a second Bela was scared what if he finds out what was happening inside that cabin but she better knew not to give anything suspicious away as Dr. Batra was someone who like to poke his nose everywhere possible.

Dr. Batra! That's none of your business!
How many times have I told you to be in your limits!
Don't poke your nose in my personal matters!
I am not one of your whores who would sleep with you! - spat Bela keeping a straight face

Avinash gritted his teeth and held Bela by her waist and growled -

Bela felt like throwing up.... Men like Avinash triggered all her pent up anger on their gender!

And before Bela could give him a befitting answer, suddenly he hugged Bela, shocking her to the core and inhaled -

Dr. Avinash may be a cunning and sick manipulative fox but Bela was no dumb.
She was capable enough to see right through his facades.

It was a weak moment and I got lost in her sweet lies! - Avinash tried his luck again

I am warning you Doctor Batra, stay away from Me! - Bela threatened him and stormed out of the ward

You will regret this Bela! - Dr. Avinash Batra threatened back before she left but Bela cared less, she just wanted out!

Bela, pressed her headache in frustration and was walking without a care that she didn't even notice when she collided with a wall??

What???
A wall in the gallery???
How is that possible???- she thought rubbing her forehead and when she saw lifting up her head, her breath got hitched looking at the person standing in front of her!

Nakul who had held her from her waist, got lost in her widened eyes. She looked frightened but all he could think of was, how perfectly her tiny waist fitted into his arms. However, Ishaan's words rang back in his ears and unwillingly he straightened her and a weird wave of uneasiness settled in Bela's stomach.
She quickly clutched the reports in her hand so that Nakul would not notice.
She composed herself and asked -

W....What are you doing here Mr. Trehan?

But his words made her froze -

I should be asking you this??
What are you hiding Bela??
Why do You look so pale!?!

I.... What.... Hide.... No...Nothing!!!
What will I hide Mr. Trehan???
What do you mean?? - she stuttered clearly scared

She was not sure what Nakul saw or what he meant by she was hiding something. She already had too much on her plate and if Nakul found out anything about the reports, it would be a disaster!

What was Avyan doing here with suhani?
Is there something I should know?? - Nakul deadpanned

Bela paled at his words.
She gulped, quickly brainstorming to come up with an excuse.
Nakul watched her like a Hawk!

Y... You saw them?? - she was alert now

What else did I just say Miss Bela? - Nakul asked stepping closer to her

A...um.. Avyan and Suhani both had come to meet me....yeah.....I....I had forgotten to bring my lunch and you know how Suhani is.... she...was passing by and so they dropped me a lunch box! - Bela spoke praying that Nakul will buy her excuses

Nakul narrowed his eyebrows at her and said - Are you Sure Bela?
That's the only reason... They... Looked... Alert!

Bela on the other hand nervously smiled weakly and replied - Y.. Yes.. Of course Mr. Trehan! Alert you say.... I don't think so!
They were just the usual self.!
Just the Lunchbox...nothing else...why else they would visit a boring place like the Hospital..??

By the way, what are you doing here? - she tried to divert his mind

I came to meet Avinash! - Nakul replied after reading her face for a while

A... Avinash??
As in Dr. Avinash Batra???
You know him??? - she asked puzzled

He is Drishti's Husband! - Nakul spoke without any delay
Bela gasped as if someone had knocked out the air from her lungs.

He is your Brother in Law??? - Bela's eyes widened at the new information.
She was now scared to her spine, That whoring swine was Drishti's husband and yet he was approaching her with all wrong intentions. She didn't know how to react to this new piece of information. Things just got complicated, a notch more higher.
If Nakul found out what Dr. Avinash was upto, would he cancel Suhani's marriage??
What if doctor Batra tried to blackmail her, taking the advantage of her situation???
What if Mr. Trehan found out that Dr. Batra was betraying his wife, because of her!
Should she tell him about his Filthy behaviour?
But would he believe her?
Bela trembled at the mere thought but she was brought back to The current situation by Nakul's deep voice -
Are you Ok?
If you don't mind Bela, can you take me to his Cabin?
He doesn't know I am here!
Have some business to talk with him! - he spoke in a rather serious tone

Bela trembled at the mere thought to meeting Dr. Batra and Mr. Trehan together.... She dreaded what Business did he had to talk to!

Did he saw us???

No.. No..!!!

That can not be possible!
She knew she was not at fault but she also knew if anything went wrong, Mr. Trehan will choose his family over her!

God, save me please! - she mentally pleaded

Just when she was about to walk him to Dr. Batra, a ward boy came and said that Bela was summoned by senior doctor Kapoor. Bela released a deep breath and turned towards Nakul and said - Um.. Mr. Trehan, I am sorry... I have to submit some urgent papers.....i got to go but this ward boy will take you to Doctor Batra.

Nakul felt a sudden disappointment but then he knew its better if he was not near her, it was better if he stayed away from her....for his own sanity and for his friend Ishaan, so he nodded and walked away with the ward boy without giving a glance at Bela.

Phew!
That was Close! - Bela muttered and walked away to keep the reports in her safe

If Only the naive girl knew she was going to fall right into her own plans!
