"Where are Eric and Auggie?" asked Topanga.

"Eric is exploring the house and Auggie is babysitting him." Josh explained.

"That's my boy!" Cory grinned. "Watching his uncle like a good child." Cory snickered, earning a jab in the ribs from Topanga.

"Wait, we're missing someone." said Josh.

"Farkle. He's testing the pH balance in the water here." I snickered.

"Do you know what that means?" Cory asked with a smirk, thinking I'd say 'no'. I surprised him.

"The pH of pure water is 7. Water with a pH lower than 7 is acidic, and with a pH greater than 7 is considered normal or healthy. The normal range for pH in surface water systems is 6.5 to 8.5 and the pH range for groundwater systems is between 6 to 8.5." I said matter-of-factly.

Everyone gaped at me.

"What? I know stuff. I'm sixteen now, guys. Now I'm not gonna say anything smart for two months." I declared.

Just then, Eric strolled in whistling the Dora the Explorer song.

"Where's my son?!" Topanga asked.

"Oh, him? Yeah, he's suspended over a chasm by a vine." Eric replied casually.

"WHAT?!?!?!" Topanga screeched and jumped to her feet.

"Heheheh you're so gullible." Eric chortled. Topanga breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed back on the couch. "He's with the robot doing stupid stuff with the water. I told him he was using the water the wrong way. He's supposed to bathe boomerangs and chipmunks in it, duh." He facepalmed himself.

"Suuuure." Topanga nodded and humored him and his strange ways while smiling kindly.

"Thanks, Turpentine." Eric grinned and plopped his butt onto the couch.
