Wendys small hand guided into the grand cobble mansion. Icicles hung from the polished marble pillars and the surrounding shrubbery was encased in a blanket of sleet.

Wendy pushed open the large oak doors and Natsu closed them behind us. I blew on my hands warming them up while taking in the surroundings. There was two entwining marble stair cases meeting at the bottom in the centre and the lobby split of into two ways each opened with marble arches and pillars. I stared in awe at the intricate crown moulding and the pristine furniture. It was so... clean? A bit ironic really if you compare it with Natsu.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by something pulling on my arm, "Lucy I will show you your room, I asked one of the maids to prepare it after Natsu called me!" Wendy exclaimed with a bright smile on her face.

"Yeah Luce go get settled in I'll bring the rest of your stuff up later." Natsu called before continuing into another room.

I ran up the stairs, following behind Wendy, through various hallways until we arrived at two room opposite to each other. One had pictures up with the word 'Wendy' in the centre and the other had a drawing of a blonde girl and the word Lucy, you could tell Wendy or someone similar to her age drew it.

"I asked to have your room opposite me and a I drew you a sign, so everyone knows its your room!" She explained with a large grin.

"Thankyou Wendy, its a beautiful drawing." She scoffed at that and I couldn't help but laugh. She told me to change in to some warm clothes then meet everyone downstairs.

I half unpacked and wrapped Wendy's presents then changed into a new outfit.

I headed down stairs trying to recall the directions Wendy gave me until I ran into a boy around Wendys age.

"You must be Lucy, Hey I'm Romeo." He greeted, I never heard of a second Dragoneel Son?

"Nice to meet you, I'm Lucy even though you already knew that." I laughed awkwardly but he just laughed making me relived he didn't think I was weird.

"Let's head down stairs, Dads waiting for us."

He guided me through the maze of hallways to another set of stairs. I heard voices talking at the bottom as romeo beckoned me down.

We entered a large lounge with was covered with various pet toys, must be for Wendy's cat. Wendy smiled as she saw me then started talking to Romeo. Natsu was standing with his back to me talking to a older man, woah, that must be Mr Dragoneel. I'd saw him a couple a couple times at some functions but my dad never let me talk to him.

Natsu turned around and smiled at me, but you could tell it was forced.

"Lucy this is my uncle Macao and Romeo is his son, so my cousin." He explained blandly.

"Nice to meet you sir." I greeted Macao.

"Please call me Macao." He chuckled , he then cleared his throat getting everyone attention. "Lucy is staying with us for Christmas so everyone make her feel at home!" He announced making me smile.

"If you need any help just come see me or Natsu okay, Natsu's father and mother are away so it will be just us 5." He said with a tight smile, I simply nodded in return.

After talking abit more with everyone i headed back to my room with Wendy, so I wouldn't get lost.

"So are you excited for Christmas?" I asked the small blunette.

"Yeah! Actually could you help me wrap some present?" She asked with a sheepish smile. I giggle at her red face.

"Of course!" I replied.

We entered her room to be greeted with a small white cat. Wendy picked it up and it started to purr.

"This is Carla, shes my cat!" Wendy said with a big grin.

"Shes adorable." I smiled.

i looked around Wendy's room, It had a large double bed covered with plush toys and large towering bookshelf filled with various things. Just like a larger version of a typical child's room.

She had a picture on her side table of her, Natsu and there parents. It had to be from at least 6 years ago as Wendy was only 5 or 6. I laughed at the small Natsu, which caught Wendy's attention.

She smiled sadly at the picture, "The presents are over here." She stated quietly. Knowing she was upset about something i simply got to work wrapping the presents.

After i was done Wendy thanked me and stated dinner would be ready in a hour.

I entered my room and made a few calls then started to wrap Wendy's present.

Suddenly i heard clanking on my balcony. Confused I got up to see what it was. I opened the door and was instantly hit with a cold breeze which caused me to shiver.

I looked around until my eyes landed on a pinkette.....standing behind me. I screamed but all he did was laugh!

"What the hell are you doing?!" I yelled.

"Talking to you, duh." He said nonchalantly.

"Why did you have to climb on my balcony!" I exclaimed.

"More romantic." He shot with a smirk, now that silenced me. I frowned trying not to blush. He burst out laughing.

"Lets get inside, your shivering." He said with a warm smile. I followed him into my room and shut the door keeping the warmth in.

We talked about various things for awhile, we were both lying on my bed with his head in my lap. If this was a couple moths ago I could never see myself in this situation but now it felt so natural.

YOOOOO  so its been just over a year since i started this book, woah! SO in a year i wrote 31 chapters.... oops. But we got 15.5k reads and 1k votes!!!!!!! Wow i never thought id get that much! Thankyou for putting up with my crap updates and my terrible grammar, it means so much to me!
