As I arrived I felt uneasy, things aren't how they used to be. Instead of noticing the happy reunions and awaiting loved ones I notice the man arguing with his wife, a child crying, the ones who aren't here for a good reason. It just shows everything isn't what it seems till you've seen the other side.

I sigh to myself. It's Christmas I shouldn't be moping. I go collect my baggage and grab a bite to eat.

As I sit at the small table I take out my phone and scroll through various apps till I got bored and decided to leave to return to good ol school, notice the sarcasm.

When I was unpacking I came across Spetto's present, I gasped realizing I forgot to give it to her. I rushed out and made my way to the post box. I made my way into the unknown AKA outside. I rushed to my destination not wanting to linger in the icy snow. I put the small package through the gap before I was roughly slammed into something hard. I looked up to see a familiar pink haired boy.

"Okay that's the second fucking time you've done that to me!" I complained while scrunching up my face.

He smirked in return but his face was quickly replaced with a frown.

"So where the hell have you been the past three days?" He questioned. I yanked my wrist from his grip.

"Why does it matter?" I asked calmly.

"Oh I don't know maybe because you went completely missing. You weren't on campus and you wouldn't reply to my phone calls and texts!" Oh yeah....... I blocked him, forgot about that.

"You could of asked anyone of our friends ya know, oh and my phones broken." I lied.

"Erza is at her parents mountain cabin, she doesn't have any service and I didn't have your friends numbers." He mumbled the last part which caused me to giggle. His lips lifted into a smile but quickly returned to his poker face.

"What about Gray?" I asked but instantly regretted it.

"What about him?!" He asked rather abruptly.

"W-why didn't you ask him?" I asked knowing I was treading on thin ice.

"Of course he fucking knows where you went, I bet you were even with him!" He spat. Wow okay.

"Oh grow up Natsu! For your fucking information I went to see my dad, not hook up with your best friend!" I yelled in response. I was done being weak and crying if he wants to accuse me I will put him in his place.

His eyes flashed with sympathy but returned to normal, His anger seemed to wash away and he was back to his usual self.

"I'm sorry I was just worried and still abit angry." He admitted looking down. I sighed, I wasn't going to hold a grudge. Going with the Christmas spirit I smiled at him.

"It's okay, thank you for worrying its nice to know someone cares." he looked at me oddly. We both were quiet for a moment before I suggested we go inside Starbucks as we were both shivering.

"So why are you here anyways?" I asked him, sipping my hot chocolate.

"I was looking for you actually."

"Oh, well here I am! Not abducted or anything." I smiled weakly and continued to stare at my drink.

"How did seeing your dad go?" He asked softly. I looked up to see the sympathy in his eyes.

"Not how I planned. He's still the same." I replied.

"Why'd you go there in the first place?

"I wanted to spend Christmas with my family, but I guess it's broken beyond repair." I said the last part to myself but I have a feeling Natsu heard as he shuffled over and put his arms around me. I sighed and relaxed, leaning into his chest.

We stayed there for awhile. I thought about random things while Natsu played with my hair. With pretending to be together at school things like this seem normal to me.

"What are you doing for Christmas now?" He asked, still stroking my hair.

"I don't know" I admitted.

"You could always spend it with my family, the more the merrier right?" I sat up to look at him. His eyes seemed completely genuine.

"I couldn't I would be intruding." I said shaking my head.

"Of course you wouldn't! Wendy loves you and I'm sure she'd be happy to have another girl in the house." I looked at him quizzically for that but he just shrugged it off.

"So whatcha say?" He asked grinning at me.

"Only if its not too much trouble." I replied smiling.

"Of course its not! Go pack your stuff, meet back here in 15 minutes I gotta do something first." He said grinning like the Cheshire cat.

I nodded before heading off. It will be nice to spend Christmas with Natsu and Wendy and there family. I guess I wont be alone this year.
