Lucys POV

I don't think I had fangirled as much in I'm life. Levy and Gajeel are just perfect for each other even if it doesn't seem like it. 

I sighed in admiration. "I wish I had that." I said softly and levy looked at me confused and I realised what I said!

"What about Natsu?"

"N..no I mean like um, how you guys got together!" I laughed awkwardly.

"Lucy are you hiding something?"

"NO! I um mean like you guys had the balcony me and Natsu were kinda flirting once and awhile then he just asked me out, no balcony or making out involved." Levy's face went red and she laughed. I mentally sighed in relief.

"Well you guys are still cuter."

"We are not! That's defiantly you and Gajeel."

We bickered over our relationships a bit more and I couldn't help but feel terrible that I'm lying like this. But at the same time when I talk about me and Natsu I cant help but feel warm inside.

~*~ After School ~*~

Natsu POV

Last lesson just finished and I quickly ran out to wait for Lisanna. I stood there waiting then I saw Gray and Lucy walk together to his room. Why does that irritate me so much. When I heard him through Lucy's phone I was overwhelmed by anger. Why was he waking up with MY Luce? I know I was acting jealous but I'm her 'boyfriend' so I can be.

I felt something in my pocket vibrate to I took out my phone to see what it was.

Lisanna :)   

-Hey got school council meeting so sorry maybe another time :P

I quickly text back a response then I put my phone back into my pocket. Damm what am I gonna do now?

For some reason I couldn't get the picture of Lucy and Gray out of my head. She was pressed against him huddling under the umbrella since its raining. He hair had droplets of water coming off which made it look brighter and shiny and she was giggling with that beautiful smile of hers.

 WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!? I DON'T LIKE LUCE LIKE THAT! But I don't like the fact she's with Gray! Maybe I should just go and check on them.... Everyone thinks were dating so as her boyfriend it should be fine. Right? Okay I will grab a coffee write my essay then head over.

LUCY'S POV

Gray and I finally arrived at his room after trudging through the rain with only a small umbrella. 

"You ready to be beaten princess?" He asked and I flinched at the nickname but quickly recovered so he wouldn't notice. No one else needs to join my pity party.

"Not a chance!"

We started the game and we both got right into it. (A/N I don't know much about GTA so its black ops now) We started off playing in the same team but I made sure to not play to my full potential so I could crush him in 1v1. Once we finished a couple team games we finally started death matches.

"Time to crush you Gray!" I yelled and he replied with a snort.

It started of slow but soon it got very intense. We were screaming and shooting at each other. We had now played 20 games and its 10-10 so its the deciding round. We were playing the map nuke town and had already decapitated most of the people.

I made sure to look down so Gray couldn't see where I was. He entered the house I was in and looked around. I started getting nervous but kept my poker face. As soon as he entered the room I threw a flash bang and got shot a couple times as he started spamming the gun but got behind him and slit his throat.

"YES! HAHA I BEAT YOU!" I screamed while jumping on the bed.

"GOD DAMMIT HOW COULD I LOSE TO A GIRL!"

"Sexist much? and I told you I'm a pro at video games!" I said with a wide grin.

"Its not fair!" He whined. I quickly grabbed the money we bet, off the table and ran to the other side of the room.

"Mine now!" I yelled.

"I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS!" He yelled before starting to chase me.

I jumped on his bed and waved the money in the air where he couldn't reach it.

Next thing I know is I've been knocked onto the bed and Gray was straddling me. My face immediately went red and I let go of the money but he didn't move. We locked gazes and I saw an unrecognisable emotion in his eyes. Why is my heart fluttering like this.

I looked away trying to control my breathing.

"Gray don't" I said weakly. I looked back up at him and our faces slowly got closer and closer. I could feel his breaths fan my face. His lips were so close to mine. He moved closer till there was nearly no space left. As we were about to close the gap there was a knock at the door.

Gray quickly got off me his face nearly as read as mine. I sat up still processing what happened. We nearly kissed! 

"Who is it?" Gray yelled.

"The amazing ,epic, awesome and brilliant Natsu Dragoneel!" Natsu yelled. Shit.

Me and Gray looked at each other in panic but quickly looked away.

"Come in!" Gray yelled.

Natsu came in with a weird expression like he was trying to read us.

"Where's Lisanna?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Oh she had a council meeting so I decided to come here." He answered still watching us.

"I um gotta go guys sorry but if you wanna play feel free to stay." Gray said nervously and rushed out the room.

"What's up with him?" Natsu asked looking at me.

"I don't know..." I replied regaining steadiness in my voice.

"Right.."

"Anyway wanna play then?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"You ready to be beaten?" He asked and I flinched remembering that's what Gray said. Normally I would accept his challenge and make it my mission to beat him but I had too much on my mind.

"Sure"

We had played a couple games and Natsu had won all of them. Natsu paused the game and looked at me.

"Whats up?" He asked in a serious tone.

"What do you mean? Nothings up!" I laughed nervously.

"Luce cut the crap! I came in and you two looked like you'd seen a ghost and whenever video games are even mentioned your crazily competitive and now your not even paying attention! What happened before I came!" He yelled.

"NOTHING" I yelled harshly which made him flinch. I picked up my bag and began to walk out before I felt someone pull on my wrist.

"Lucy please tell me!" He asked softly.

"Why?!? Why do you deserve to know everything that happens in my life!" I yell at him.

Natsu POV

I flinched when she yelled at me. Why did I care this much?

"Because I'm your boyfriend!" I yelled back.

"NO! NO YOUR NOT! ITS NOT REAL NATSU! WERE NOT AN US , ITS ONLY A DEAL TO GET YOU LISANNA!" She yelled at me her eyes watering. I knew it was all true but it hurt so much hearing her say it.

I stood there speechless. I didn't know what to say or what to even think! Why is she affecting me so much! Why do her words hurt so much!

Tears started streaming down her face as much as she tried to wipe them away. I was still holding onto her wrist and pulled her in to a hug. We stayed there for awhile, her crying on my chest and my arms protectively wrapped around her.

Lucy's POV

I don't even know why I'm crying. I just can't help it. When Natsu hugs me I forget our whole fight and sob into his chest.

I don't know how long we stood there but I felt warm and safe and quickly drifted off into a abyss after feeling myself being picked up and carried somewhere.
