It was the next day, and Avneet was restless from the time she saw Siddharth. Currently, she was sitting in her room when she heard the doorbell rang. After a few minutes, she heard 2 aunties talking to each other in a loud voice. One was her mother but other. She stood up and went down to see Manjul with her mom sitting on the couch. Manjul's mom was furning in anger while Avu's mom was convincing her. Avu went near them and greeted Manjul's mom.

Avu (sitting on couch beside her mom): Good morning, Aunty.

But Manjul's mom didn't answer her and turned her face to the other side. Avu looked at her mom, who signed her. She looked at Manjul's mom.

Manjul: Mom, I know she did wrong, but she is pregnant with my child. Not for her but for your grandchild. Please don't say no.

Manjul's mom (angrily looking at him): So what? If she would'nt have done all this, then I might have accepted her, but now she has played with many boys and also trapped one. How can you expect me to accept such a cheap and characterless woman like her for my only son? Huh?

Avu exhaled sharply before speaking.

Avu (politely): Aunty, I know she did wrong, but the main thing is she is guilty for her such act. She wants to mend her mistake.

Manjul's mom: Girl! Listen to me. Such girls can never feel guilty or they can't mend their mistakes because they have to do it again and again.

Avu looked down, not knowing what to say. Manjul's mom saw shame and pride in Avu's eyes. Manjul's mom looked at Manjul.

Avu's mom: sister, please.

Manjul's mom (looking at Avneet): If you want, I can give you a favour.

Avu's mom and Avu looked at each other in confusion.

Avu's mom (confused): What kind of favour?

Manjul also looked at her mother confused.

Manjul's mom: You have 2 daughters. If you want, I can make your second daughter my daughter-in-law.

Avu's mom (confusingly): Second daughter?

Manjul's mom pointed towards Avu, and everyone's eyes went wide open. Avu stood up in anger.

Manjul's mom felt herself insulted. She looked at Avneet in anger while they didn't know someone was listening to them, and that was Rits. Yes, she was standing on stairs listening to everything while Avu's dad and Jai weren't at home. Rits heart broke into pieces when she heard her demand. She felt dizzy.

Avu (pointing towards the door): You can leave now.

Manjul's mom (turning to her mom): I have given you an option. You can....

Avu (cutting her loud): Your son is interested in Ritika, then from where did I come in between? I have already told you my answer. Kindly leave from here.

Manjul's mom: First, your sister does wrong deads, and here you are showing attitude. Huh!

She turned towards the door and started walking towards the door and went out while Manjul was standing there only. Avu's mom fell on the couch with thud, covering her face through her palms crying over her fate. Manjul came near furning Avneet. Avneet looked at him with anger in his eyes.

Manjul (politely): Avneet, I am sorry from mom's side, but you shouldn't have talked to her like....

Avu (cutting him, in low dangerous voice and tears in eyes): I have already lost many precious people because of my silence. The one I love is suffering because of my silence, but now I don't want to lose anything else. It's better if I speak instead of being silent, seeing everything like a toy.

Manjul looked down while Avneet was still looking at him with anger and tears in her eyes.

Avu (cracky voice): How can you do this, Manjul? You didn't tell anyone that you love someone. However, when you fall in love, you feel like screaming and telling everyone about your lover but you.... You didn't even inform your mom.

Manjul closed his eyes, still looking down, not knowing what to say. Manjul moved towards Avu's mom and bent to meet her height. He joined his hands in front of Avu's mom.

Manjul: I know, Aunty. It's my mistake that I left her when she needed me the most, but I promise I will accept her and I will marry Ritika. I promise.

Avu's mom looked at him while he was still sitting joining his hands. He shook his head. Avu's mom smiled, and he stood up. He started walking and when he reached the main door he felt someone standing on the stairs. He looked up to see Ritika standing there. She was already feeling dizzy, and her head was spinning. Manjul noticed something was wrong with her, but before he could process, Ritika stepped down the stairs, but unfortunately, her foot slipped, and she fell from stairs.

Manjul (in shock): RITIKA..!!!!!

Avu and her mom looked in the direction and got scared by his yell. They ran towards the direction and were shocked to see Ritika laying there holding her baby womb with her forehead bleeding while Manjul hugged her, patting her cheeks.

Manjul (loud, patting her cheeks): Ritika, Ritika, look at me. Don't close your eyes, please!

Ritika was losing her consciousness while Avu and her mom were just standing there in shock. Ritika opened her eyes for a second.

Rits (in whisper): I-I am sorry, I d-doubted your love and loyalty. I-I deserve it. P-Please forgive me and s-save my baby.

She said, groaning in pain at last. Avneet also sat on her knees beside her. Ritika looked at Avneet and slowly held her hand while crying.

Rits (sobbing holding her baby womb): I-I am sorry Avneet. I-I always d-did wrong with y-you, but I-I promise, I will t-tell the whole w-world about Siddharth's innocence. I-I promise and p-please f-forgive me.

Saying this suddenly, she took a deep breath, and her hand auntomatically slipped from Avu's hands while she lost her consciousness. Manjul yelled, patting her cheeks.

Manjul (loud): Ritika, nothing will happen to you. Wake up!

Avu's mom covered her mouth with her hands not believing her eyes while Avneet only stared at Rits. Her mind went numb.

It was 10 minutes since the doctors took Ritika inside O.T. Avu's dad and Jai also came there. Manjul was pacing here and there in tension when the doctor came out in a surgical costume. Everyone got attentive while Manjul looked at the doctor.

Doc: Who is her husband?

Manjul: Me

Doc: Sorry to say, but her condition is serious. We have to operate as soon as possible.

Avu's dad (standing up): Doctor, isn't it any danger of life?

Doc: it is. Child's life is at risk. We can't say anything right now, but saving mothers is more important than the child because the child is premature, and he/she will automatically die if we save him or her too.

Manjul stumbled as the doctor informed about the danger. Avu's dad rubbed his temples.

Doc: Kindly fill out the forms so that we can start the operation.
