Reem (sobbing while caressing his hair): I know Bhaiya. I know. I'm here only and I need you. J-Just get well soon.

Reem went a little more closer to hear him. Slowly he was losing his courage and senses both at the same time. His lips were dry and he seemed weak enough due to which he was having difficulty in speaking. He also had breathing problems because of the stress he was taking.

Sidd (panting heavily, whispering): T-Take c-care of y-yourself a-and...... d-dada.

Saying this he slowly closed his eyes while he stopped breathing and monitor started beeping louder and louder. Reem was shocked and terrified at the same time.

Reem (caressing his hair, sobbing): Bhaiyaa...Bhaiya open your eyes and talk to me. Bhaiya....

Nurse who was present there panicked as she rushed towards him. Nurse dragged Reem away from Sidd.

Nurse (panicked): Kindly leave the room please.

Nurse said straighning his bed.

Nurse (shouting): Doctors, cpr is required. The patient isn't breathing.

Reem's hand covered her mouth while she was hiccuping. Nurse gave an injection to Sidd on his arm. A group of nurses and doctor rushed inside in the I.C.U room with a defibrillator machine. One of the doctor removed his oxygen mask and placed a cylindrical mask on his face, helping him breathing. Reem came close to him which a nurse saw and stopped her.

Nurse: Ma'am you need to go out please!

Reem (objecting her): No, I won't leave my brother like this (to Sidd) bhai please don't give up for me. Please!

The doctor rubbed the defibrator against each other as current flowed. The doctor placed the defibrator on Sidd's chest.

Doctor: charging to 200. Clear?

Nurse: Clear!

Sidd's chest bounced as doctor pressed the button. Reem was pushing the other nurse but the nurse was already holding her.

Nurse (panicked): Ma'am please leave the room!

2 nurses held Reem from her arms and walked with her outside the room while Reem was yelling, objecting them. Abhi stood up seeing nurses holding Reem from her arms.

Nurse (panick): Sir, please handle your sister. She is going out of control.

Abhi nodded and pulled Reem towards him. He hugged her while she was still pushing herself away from him.

Reem (yelling in anger): Leave me! You are no one to me.

Abhi hugged her more tighter while crying. Reem slowly stopped objecting and hugged him tighter keeping her head on his chest. He started caressing her hair which helped her while she broke down on his touch. Abhi was also crying but was controlling himself for her. Vaishu also side hugged them, keeping her head on Abhi's shoulder with tears flowing through her eyes.

It was 9 of morning, Doctor came out checking Rits, who got unconscious while Avu's mom and Manjul were waiting outside in hall. They stood up as they saw her coming towards them.

Doctor: She was stressed and in shock. It's her 5th month so she should be careful otherwise it can risk the baby's life.

The doctor left from there making both of them worried.

Avu's mom: Already many things happened. I don't think Aman will let Rits live here.

Manjul just shook his head in disrelief.

Manjul (disappointed) : Her actions lead her in this condition only.

Avu's mom looked down in embarrasement. That's when, door bell rang. Avu's mom went to open the door and saw Avneet there, all messed up.

Avu's mom (shocked): Avneet.

She didn't spoke a word and hugged her mother tightly. She instantly broke down in her mother's arms. Avu's mom looked at Jai with worried expressions.

Avu's mom (concerned): Atleast tell me what happened? Where were you the whole night and why was your phone off?

Avu looked down while Jai looked away. Avu's mom eyed Avu.

Avu's mom: Avu please tell me.

Avu (cracky voice): Mom, we were in hospital.

Avu's mom (shocked): hospital! But why?

Jai (calm but sad): Mom Siddharth bhai committed suicide and was taken to the hospital. Reem ordered us to leave the hospital but we were there only at the reception getting updated about Sidd bhai's health.

Avu's mom (shocked): Oh God!!

Avu broke the hug sobbing.

Avu (sobbing): Mom, I-I personally a-asked the doctor a-and s-she i-informed t-that his condition i-is c-critical. S-She s-said that n-next 12 h-hours are critical for h-him.

Saying this Avu again hugged her mother tightly crying out of guilt. A tear escaped from mom's eyes as she looked at Jai whose eyes also were holding tears. Their lovelife got an evil eye and that evil eye was of Rits, who destroyed 5 lives at a time.

Reem, Abhi and Vaishu were sitting on the hospital benches with dull, worried faces praying silently for their baby bro. That's when, a doctor came out and they all stood up.

Abhi (worried): Doctor, is everything f-fine? Is my brother fine?

Doc: He is alive and is now breathing normally but...

Abhi glanced at Reem and Vaishu being tensed.

Abhi: But...?

Doc: Next 12 hours are critical for him. If he wakes up, he will be out of danger otherwise..... he will go into coma.

Reem stumbled hearing the doctor while doctor held her by her arm

Doc (caressing Reem's arm): You are very close to your brother. Don't give up. He needs you. Your love and care can bring him out of danger.

Reem looked at doctor with hope in her eyes while doctor nodded smiling. Doctor made her sit on seat and turned to Abhi.

Doc: I need to have a talk. Kindly follow me to my cabin.

Abhi nodded wiping his tears and followed the doctor till her room. They settled there when Abhi noticed her expressions.

Abhi (concerned): Doctor, is everything fine? You called me here.

Doctor exhaled sharply before speaking.

Doc: Your brother is under depression. That's why his condition is critical. The problem is not caused by the excess dose of sleeping pills but his mental health. If he survives you must take extra care of him because in this condition patients lose their control over themselves and they try to end their lives again and again.

Abhi gulped hearing her.

Doc: If you take my advice, his environment should be changed, no one should tell him anything which can make it more worse for him. Espically after this incident, his nervous system will become weak. He might forget some things but he can be cured by the time, only if good care is done by you guys.

Abhi nodded as a tear fell from his eye.

Abhi (cracky voice): W-We will take good care of him.

Avu was laying on her bed staring at the ceiling without blinking her eyes. Many tears falling while memories rushing in her mind.

The memory when Sidd was singing song and she appeared there. Sidd stopped si gas soon as he saw Avneet standing in front of him. He stood up and both got lost in the moment.

Another moment when Sidd was stammering and was trapped by Rits.

Sidd (stammering, not facing her)= I'm behaving normally. I don't need your sympathy.

He was again about to leave when Avni stood in front of him blocking his path. He didn't make any eye contact which she wanted him to make.

Sidd staring at her with tears in his eyes while anger in Avneet's eyes when Avneet blamed him infront of his family.

A tear fell from her eye as she closed her eyes. Sidd laying there unconscious came flashed infront of her eyes. She jerked sitting on the bed, gulping in fear.

Doctor's words echoing in her mind.

Avu (wiping her tears): I-I have done a mistake. I-I should not b-be sitting here. S-Sidd doesn't d-deserve me b-but I need h-him. I w-will make h-him fine. H-He has to c-come back f-for m-me.

She consoled to herself, getting up from her bed and walking outside with car keys in her hands.

Reem was sitting on the couch inside Sidd's room while he was sleeping or you can say unconscious. Reem's head placed on the back of couch with blank expressions. Few tears leaked her eyes as she looked at Sidd, who was laying there with many wires, drip and oxygen mask. Her heart ached seeing him like that.

Reem (in mind): What a coincidence Reem! The one who used to do anything to cheer you up is laying today fighting for his life and you can't even do anything. How selfish you are Reem? You couldn't be with him at that time when he took that step. How lonely he would have felt that he took this step?

That's when, the door opened. Reem's eyes travelled towards the door to see Abhi and Vaishu coming inside with shopping bag in her hand. Abhi's eyes went to Sidd and he felt his heart stopping for a minute. He slowly went near him and kissed his forehead as tear fell from his eyes.

Abhi (whispering, crying, caressing his hair): I-I need y-you Ashu! Dada is s-sorry for everything. P-Please beat me, scold me b-but please w-wake up!
