Manvi's POV

I saw the cliff which was a few meters away. I smirked and hit my car with Aarav's hardly that it flipped 180 degrees. I smirked, the car stopped just a few inches away from the cliff.

I smiled broadly, I tried to lower the speed of my van but the breaks were not working. It seemed the accident caused damage to my van too. I panicked, I looked in front and my van was moving to the end of the cliff. I panicked and jumped down the van. My hard luck, I fell down but someone grabbed my hand tightly and I was hanging down.

I looked up and was shocked by seeing Aarav. Tears brimmed down my eyes, I can't believe it. I just tried to kill him and he saved my life. His head was bleeding badly as his half face was covered with blood.

He said in concern "Manvi upar aao" he still cared for me.

I silently stared at him, I remembered my deeds. He loved me unconditionally and I betrayed him every time.

"Chodo aarav" I said in a low tone..

"Upar aao Manvi.. Ahana help me please" he said, Ahana came and tried to grab my other hand but I did not push myself up.

I smiled looking at them, I don't deserve Aarav's love. I said "chodo Aarav.."

"Nahi.. tum aise marr nahi sakti ho" he shouted with teary eyes.

I smiled his tears were proof he still loves me, even after knowing how much I made his life miserable. No, he can forgive me but I won't be able to forgive myself and live with this guilt.

"Aarav agar main zinda rahi toh tumhe maar dungi samjhe tum.." I shouted at him

He nodded.. "maar do.. par please upar aa jao" I saw the love for me in his eyes. I shut my eyes and let my tears slip down. For the first time, I had tears in my eyes for him.

I tried to free my hand from his grip but he was not ready to leave.

Aarav's POV

I eyed Manvi, I love her and how can I let her die? She did wrong, but this is not the punishment for it. Everyone deserves a second chance. I spoke "please upar aa jao.. hum sab bhoolke nahi shuruwat karenge"

She smiled with teary eyes.. "Nahi Aarav.. I don't deserve you nafrat karti hun main tumse aur hamesha karti rahungi" she said with an angry tone.

I sighed, I know she is lying so that I can leave her. I tried to pull her up, my body was paining due to the wounds. I was losing my strength but I worked hard. Suddenly, she bit my hand hard, for a moment the grip loosened and she left my hand completely. I shouted "Manvi..."

In front of my eyes, she fell off the cliff. She smiled at me and I was losing my consciousness.

I opened my eyes, I heard a beep sound and turned to the left. There was a monitor monitoring my heartbeat. I realised I was in the hospital. I tried to get up but failed, then a hand gave me support and I sat up straight.

I eyed the person it was Ahana. She said.. "Finally tumhe hosh aaya.. Thik ho na?"

I nodded in yes, but there was a pain which can never be healed in me. I was discharged by the doctor in 2 days and Ahana took care of me. My manager came the home and informed me that Ahana managed everything in my absence.

The inspector came to take my statement, regarding Manvi. I informed "car ke break fail ho gaye they.." making up a false story.

"we tried to locate your wife but could not" The inspector informed.

I signed the statement and the inspector left. Her chapter is over in my life.

It took me a month to get back to normal, Ahana was there with me 24 hours. She healed my wounds with her care, why was she doing it? Did she really loved me?

Like Manvi she hurt me, I can't forget the worst 6 months of my life. I almost turned insane. Manvi punished herself for her deeds leaving me with pain. I sighed deeply, its not easy for me to move on in life.

I was lying down on the bed, I was thirsty. I stood up and tried to grab the water jug but failed. My wound pained, Ahana entered the room.

I looked at her, she helped me drink the water with her own hands.

She smiled "aaj foreign delegates ke saath meeting thi.. tumhare baare mein puch rahe they" she said.

I glanced at her silently..

"acha ye tumhara new project mujhe zyada kuch toh pata nahi hai manager ne kaha hai tum ek baar padhlo aur sahi lage toh sign kardo main kal office mein de dungi" she said while keeping the file on the bed.

She then left the room, I glanced at the file and started reading it. I checked it and after an hour Ahana returned with the food.

She kept the plate on the bed along with medicines "ye tumhari depressions medicine ye pain killers aur ye drug ka antidote le lena main tabtak apna fashion house jaake aati hun" she said and walked out of the room.

I checked the medicines, read the names on the phone and they were genuine. She was indeed regretting her mistake and helping me get back to life.

A few days later, I checked my wardrobe and saw something to which I was left surprised.

Ahana's POV

After a month, the doctor informed me he is mentally and physically fit. I was so much elated hearing it, I went to his room and said "Aarav.. Doctor ne kaha hai tum ab office join kar sakte ho.."

He glanced at me silently..

"Acha main chalti hun ab.. Meri flight ka time ho raha hai" I spoke and turned to leave with teary eyes. I loved him, but I know I won't get his love so I am leaving the city.

He asked "kaha jaa rahi ho?"

I looked back at him "pata nahi Aarav.. Manvi ne jo kiya uski hisse daar main bhi thi uske liye main khudko maaf nahi kar paaungi.. I am sorry" I expressed my emotions. I turned to leave but he held my wrist, tears brimmed down my eyes.

He said "maine tumhe maaf kiya Ahana.. Tumne apni galti sudhar li thi jab tumne mujhe sach bataya chahti toh mujhe nahi batati tumne Manvi ko double cross kiya mere liye aur jo paise usne tumhe diye wo mujhe wapas kar diye diamond necklace sab kuch lauta diya.."

I turned to him, tears brimmed down his eyes and he said.. "Tumhare diye zakhm se bada toh Manvi ka dhoka hai Ahana.. Ek mahine tumne mera khayal rakha mera business sambhala tum buri nahi thi.. Nahi thi"

I was emotional hearing him, he forgave me. He is a down to earth person, why won't I love him. "Aarav I blackmailed you and I deserve to be punished," I said and walked out of the house.

I came to the police station, I will reveal everything to the inspector and get myself punished for my deeds.

I approached the inspector and said "I need to surrender myself"

The lady inspector eyed me shockingly and asked: "for?? what??"

"maine kisiko blackmail kiya aur fraud bhi kiya hai" I spoke not revealing Aarav's name.

Before the inspector could question me something, the constable came in with "madam, bahar ek car aayi hai aur aapko bula rahi hai"

I was surprised, the lady inspector eyed me suspiciously. The constable passed a note to her. She read the note and smiled..

"jao madam.. wo insaan tumpe koi case nahi karna chahta hai" she informed

I walked out as I know he is business tycoon and till he gives permission inspector won't dare to arrest me. I saw Aarav's car. I quietly sat inside and he drove off to his house.

"kya tumhare ye sab karne se mera naam kharab nahi hoga?" he asked.

I looked down, as I was in deep guilt. I apologized "Sorry Aarav.. par mai khudko maaf nahi kar sakti hun"

He said something to which I was left totally stunned and dumbstruck.

"what?? Tum pehle se jante they Manvi is behind all this?" I questioned

Aarav's POV

There is something, which no one knows. And that truth is I knew long back that Manvi is behind blackmailing. The day Ahana told me Manvi is the mastermind, I felt at least she realized she is on the wrong path.
