"I'm sorry, can you tell me what they looked like?" Stormstar asked me. "The four of them were shiny, like they were made of the night sky, one of them were shorter than the rest, she was the kind one, her pelt was striped and she had yellow eyes. The sleek one was a silver color with green eyes. He said something about not being able to see a kit entirely, don't know what that is about. There was a ginger tom with white paws, his eyes were like his pelt. The last one was as dark as a shadow at night, she, I assume it was a she, had leaf green eyes," I told him. Stormstar sat down and looked at the sky, "do you know who they were?" He asked. I shook my head, confused about why he was asking. he looked back at me and smiled "they were the first leaders of the clans," he told me. I just looked at him, not really understanding what he meant. "You are something special, aren't you?" He asked rhetorically, setting a paw on my head. I smiled at him, happy to be accepted. Another cat had walked up to Stormstar, asking if he wanted to go out to hunt. Stormstar looked at me and asked "are you going to be okay here?" I smiled at him and said "of course, stormstar, if I need help, Brambleberry's here." "Been awhile since I heard that name," the other cat looked at stormstar, "why does he call you that?" Stormstar put a paw on my back, "he was Inquisitive, at one point he asked my name and I told him both of them, who I am and who I was. He asked which I prefer. I didn't have a preference, and so he calls me what I was first, Oakheart." I had sit there listening to Stormstar, looking at this 'Oakheart' wondering why he was familiar. "And no, I don't mind hunting with you guys, we are going to need the fresh-kill." At that, Oakheart had turned and head for the reed barrier around camp. "Be safe, Blackkit," Stormstar said, then got up and followed Oakheart. I had retreated back into the medicine den and released the tention in my body that I didn't know was there. Brambleberry came in not too long after and sat next to me, wrapping her tail around me. I lean into her, comforted. "I saw you, I know it can be weird, but the clan is here to help you." It was the that she kissed my head. To be honest, I don't remember anything before the nursery. Also I think it was then that I started to see her as my mother, you know the one I never had? Yeah, anyway. I started to purr and fall into a dreamless sleep.
