Two months later
I couldn't believe that the day was finally here. The six tear cake, the beautiful elegant wedding dress, the colors (baby pink and teal) matched the flowers and the ocean, oh I didn't mention that were getting married on the beach. Dad, Hudson and his groomsmen all had their tuxes on, Monica and the three other bridesmaids all had on their baby pink knee length strapless dresses. Matteo had on his tiny baby tux.
I saw everyone through the limos window, except for dad who was right beside me. That's when the limo driver rolled down the privacy window.
Driver: Okay let's go. Start the music
I got out and dad and I walked arm in arm down the isle. The 'here comes the bride' sound was playing, all eyes were on me and I just looked straight at Hudson and Matteo who were smiling so bright. Monica and Gary had tears streaming down their far already and when we got to the end and dad handed me away, that's when my first tear fell. Hudson wiped it and we joined hands and the pastor told everyone to be seated.
Pastor: We are father here today to join this man, and this woman
in holy matrimony.
He said all the thing about love and honor and til death do us part and this when we both started crying.
Me: I do.
Hudson: I do.
Pastor: You may now kiss the bride.
We leaned in and kissed BETTER THAN EVER! I know I say that every time we kiss but this was like our kiss in the rain times infinity. It would never be better than this. That's when Matteo tugged on my dress. I looked down and he giggled.
Matteo: Do we live with Hudson now?
Me: It would be pretty silly if a husband and wife didn't live together.
Matteo: Oh, what about auntie Monica?
Me: I'll tell you later Matteo, but let's go. I scooped up Matteo in one arm and held Hudson's hand with another. When we got to the end if the isle I handed Matteo to my grandma.
Me: I love you Matteo.
Then we got into the JUST MARRIED car. There were cans tied to the bumper and the back window had the big letters JUST MARRIED painted in white.
Me: Did that just happen?
Hudson: Yes it did wife.
Me: I'm so happy to call you my husband.
Hudson: And I'm happy to call you my wife. Even though I knew it was bound to happen from day one.
Me: What do you mean?
Hudson: I've loved you since the first time I laid my eyes on you at the Gorilla Club. I love you more than anyone I've ever dated and now I'm exhilarated that we're not dating, because we're married. And You're mine, and I'm yours. And I want it to be that way until death do us part.
Me: I would climb on top of you if I didn't have this dress on.
Hudson: I wish you didn't have that dress on.
Me: We can wait until the honeymoon
Hudson: Ugh, that's not for another week. Now that you're my wife I want to make live instead of a quick fuck.
Me: In three more days, we can make the best and longest love of our lives.
We both smiled and held hands as we made out in the back of that car on our way to his house for the first time as a married couple.
