"Prince Fellrex!" A cheerful voice called out to a Gem who bore corruption scars.

Fellrex had gained a second set of horns which curl up around the original ones, ridges along his spine down towards a tail coiled up around his wrist. There were lumps on his back near the ridges, he wore a single pair of pants that were loose and had a sash around them.

"Did they find us again?" He asked, staring into the starry sky as his eyes glowed grey.

"No, but umm. I recently discovered a holiday you might like." They came out, revealing themselves to be an android of some type. (Imagine a cross between an Exo from Destiny 1 or 2 and Mettaton Ex form if my description made no sense)

They had a slim build, with a resemble a Gem but made of metal and other strange things. It had no features on the faceplate apart from two orbs glowing silver alongside a line going down straight across before going up.

Under their torso and above the pelvis that connected to the legs was a see-through shatter resistance material that showed a cluster Gem made of what appeared to be thirty different Gem shards, carefully constructed and build to resemble a normal Gemstone and not those typical of Cluster Gems.

It held up a costume." Halloween, kid."

They said as Fellrex's eyes widen." No, no no! We are going to earth! Not when they are looking for 'Gems with eyes like Diamonds and sorrow' that *(HE*) told to them."

"Who said it has to be Earth. Besides you need to get out soon, Gems are growing concerned and a few want you to come and see them." They said and added." And not all have a body made of rare metals such as myself, Fellrex."

"Fine, Codex," Fellrex said gripping the edge before letting go of it and staring at Codex.

"Good, everyone else is willing to partake in it but had gone to Earth. Rather our supplier from Earth had dropped off quite a few costumes for every other Gem here." Codex said as Fellrex's eyes glowed blueish grey then shifted to a neutral colour.

"It'll be good for morale, everyone could get a lift in their spirits and possibly gain more productibility from this happening." He mumbled to himself, thinking about it.

"Fellrex... Come, they need to see their leader among them." Codex said putting the costume down and leaving the room which was just an improvised office that had scattered items, reports, readings and many more that has to be sorted through.

"By the ancients and by fucking shards, this needs to be improved and not just made of mash mush of whatever can be bought here," Fellrex mumbles, looking at the costume meant for him.

It was a simple costume of a vampire." Steven went as one, years ago."

Meanwhile, about twenty Gems were dressing up eager to try something new after being on the run or in hiding for tens of thousands of years. They were all trying out costumes ranging from a mermaid to someone called Lelouch Lamperouge that no one knew who they were except for the one wearing that costume.

The rest of the Gems weren't interested in dressing up and just planned on coming to the party." Can't believe he accepted this? I mean, the heir isn't exactly been happy?"

"I heard. We all heard, getting attacked by the Lights especially those he cared for." One said.

"One must be careful, around the enemy. Even ones he might think of as friends could very well betray him and currently, it seems like they have." Another said

"Don't say things! You know as well as we all do, that they are acting on the will of HER lies and her betrayal, seeing only want she sees fit. Be thankful that the prince or HIS allies. Mind I add, the ones who are supplying us with everything thus far?!?!? From raw materials to research even parchment was given to us! We are barely surviving before their help and now we are surviving on what they port to us!" A scarred Pearl yelled, flaring his wings out

"We all remembered what they have done but now we have something we haven't since our Diamond's fall. So either put your words away N O W!" Another Gem hissed.

A fusion watched them, having medium size wings folded and one large eye surrounded by two eyes on either side of the large eye like a spider. They had a rode as clothing while the Gems bicker among themselves but it seemed normal for all of the Gems.

"Could we set up the decorations soon, I fear the prince Fellrex would come and would like to see something that was his home." They suggested, a voice synchronized with two voices speaking as one.

"Fine." A few grumbled but started to do the work.

Later, the Dark Gems and the few Light Gems among them had started a festive Halloween party. The decorations were set from cartoony skulls and spiders, to purple and black to match the Halloween theme.

"Fellrex," Codex said to him who wore the costume. 

"Hmm?" Turning to see Codex that is wearing a Frankenstein costume.

"That fits you surprisingly well da- Codex." He said eyes glowing yellow.

"I'm glad you're wearing the one I bought. Not many came in that size, either." They said

"Thank you for going through the trouble of getting me the vampire stuff," Fellrex said as a few Gems started to gather around a pit of fire as something started to happen.

The fusion was there as shadows started to form with ice creating firmer details around them, shadowy creatures dance wearing ice as jewelry, clothes, weapon and claws. The fusion dances with them, with colours, hues, tints and more to be seen.

"Let us tell a tale we all know and love. 

When the Gems were young and new, 

When we were naive and curious,

When we search for answers for our nature and origins, of our Diamonds who lead and protect us

Is what lead us to a graveyard of Shards, shattered and broken and few whole and sane,

A creature lay among the bodies of our shattered kin and ancestors, 

Full of horns, teeth claws and scales. 

A great Serpent of endless size, reaching the skies and with a maw larger than the earth that stood beneath us and H I M

We thought ourselves the superiors so they challenge it for dominance. 

It laughed and bellowed, shaking the ground beneath their feet.

'Foolish creatures what bought yourself behind the great Creator of your species.' It said"

A giant Snake-like creature formed with a torso like a Gem's, arms that ended with three fingers and two thumbs and a head that made little sense. 

It roared and circles the fire pit.

"Then the ancient leader stood their ground, not once moving despite the fear seen in the others of the Gem that travel with the leader,

She said and challenge H I M again, demanding its name. 

Again HE laughed

'Such foolish little Gems asking for the name of their god and creator but you shall be granted a rare honour as many of your kin was given a grand opportunity of feeding ME.'

The shadowy Serpent raises above the thirty or so shadow Gems most fearful and back up behind the leader, a Gem with an unknown sigil around its neck. Gems cheered and roared happily before going silent when the fusion raise their wings and arms.

"The giant Serpent circled the Gems, spreading its body trapping them and preventing escape,

'I am the F E L R E X, last of the great line that was my species and your creators. First of this name, champion of all things and god creator of all you Servants of this age which lived because I willed it because I allowed it. So that you may feed your god and creator.' The Felrex said laughing still while the leader remain unmoved.

'Who said you are our god?!' They demanded.' We are our own,  never to be trapped and condemned because we are Gems! The mightiest of all things on this Planet!'

Another soon followed after the leader's words.' We're not your servants nor shall we be your food anymore! Tonight on this sky and on this ground where our kin lay, you shall be defected by another!'

So, a great battle happened. For thirty days and thirty nights on the planet of the Old World, the Gems discover the giant Serpent's name and of our origin.

They fought but still, nothing could stop the Felrex as his scales and his hide was impenetrable, his breath poison and deadly, his claws sharp and his mind clever as he was until all but two remained." The fusion continues making the shadows fight each other over the fire pit, clashing and grinding and losing were the Gems.

"Then the leader came with a plan, they knew that the Felrex had to be seen as a threat and made known. If the word has gotten out, if word spread that a giant creature came nad existed, taking the shards of million different Gems they would rally behind a Gem to stop Him.

So they took the smallest and weakest of the troop that followed the leader. A Pearl, that had nothing special about her.' Find the other tribes, tell them what happened here, and of the giant Serpent that is the Felrex, Saved us and rescue Gems that would be.'

They said to the small Pearl before banishing them away from the Felrex in a cloud of dust and shadows towards the other.

The leader stood and fought, not giving up despite knowing their fate. That they would be shattered soon like the others the Felrex feasted upon."

The fusion made the shadow Serpent devour the final shadow bearing the sigil and the Serpent roaring in victory before a burning red light was seen.

"But despite his power, something happened. Burning light was seen, seeping through any hole, scar or opening the Felrex had light poured out revealing three Diamonds on his chest two of which fought back, to join the others.

The Felrex roared in agony and in pain, as the two Diamonds began to separate from the Felrex burning and brimming with light forming a will of their own.

'Not them! They are mine! You are mine! You may have been another's before but now you are mine now and forever!' The Felrex roared clawing at his chest as the two Diamond forcibly removed themselves from him.

The Felrex attempted to grab them and force them back on him. But they disappeared in a bolt of light, taking them far away. To be seen in another tale, one of our Diamonds' origins." the fusion ended the story.

Little did they know, they were being watched.
