*NOTES, This is an AU, I've had in mind for a while now. This is just for fun and is full of my own headcanons, thoughts, OCs and personal views of STEVEN UNIVERSE. Another thing, I do not own Steven Universe at all! Everyone cannon to it belongs to the rightful owner of Rebecca Sugar, as I only owned the Au idea mostly, the Original Characters and the story plot!

Another thing, I will accept feedback for this as it grows, although be specific and explain as best you can make it out to be.

Steven View

"WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!!" I yelled, banging pots together trying to wake up Cobra who slept through it as if it was nothing." Aww, why aren't you waking up? I want everything to have a together breakfast."

But no matter what I do, he won't wake up. How did Amethyst wake him up, again? Did she hurt him? Pranking him seems not nice and he would chase her around the house.

How did Garnet do it? Or Pearl too? He usually sleeps through them both, but Garnet lets him sleep unless it's something important and Pearl just wakes up, but how??  I stuck out my tongue, trying to remember how both would wake him up." Steven, please. Not many noises, my head hurts."

"YOU'RE !!" I stopped myself from being too late to make his head hurt." Horary! You're up!"

I said quieter, knowing it would make it hurts." Thank you, Steven. I think my Gem is acting up again, maybe I should rest more."

Cobra started to drift off to sleep again, or disappear." NOOOOOO!!"

"NOOOO!!" I whined again, snapping him out." I want you to join them together for breakfast!! I want everyone to be there!! And you're barely been awake for the past few weeks!!"

"Pearl doesn't eat, Garnet does on occasional and Amethyst eats everything." He mumbles." And my stomach _or what counts as one_ is too sensitive to human cooking and won't handle it well."

"Whyyyyyy!!!!!!!!" I whined again before thinking of an idea." But you can make food?"

"You can help me make the food!!" I yelled, earning a pillow to the face." COBRA!!! FRIENDS DON'T DO THAT!"

I giggled happily as Cobra got up." Fine, I will make breakfast this time. No pancakes, or whipped cream, my stomach can't handle those."

"Okay!! How about . .  ."

'What do we make!! Cobra could suffer from his stomach problems, maybe something sample. Like what???'  I thought, biting my tongue. Thinking for a solution for what we do for Cobra." The Gems!"

"STEVEN!!" Cobra shouted, crutching his head tightly with his non-spiked arm.' Why is it always like that?'

"Sorry! Sorry! Forget Cobra! I forget!" I yelled, making him wince." I'll be in my room."

"What nooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I groaned, grading his leg. He moved on and went into his room, ignoring me until I let go." Cobra!!"

Later, I made a together breakfast waffle for everyone but Cobra. I was trying to make something for him that he would like and eat, and to make him smile. When was the last time he smiled? He seemed even more tired than normal, he used his wings a lot this month? To protect me and the Gems?

Garnet enters the room, carrying a bubble with an item in it. It was hard to see what was inside it but something creeped me out, Cobra said if something was whispering or had a bad feeling to it. Was to listen to that feeling, leave the area of it and burn it and everything else even near that thing, to the ground, bury the ashes and make sure to the other side of the universe to get away from it.

I ask what he meant by that. He said." Experience tells enough to survive, and overcome. Steven."

"What's that?" I asked, pointing at the bubble." Something that has to be burned."

I looked closer at the bubble, trying to see what it was but the words of Cobra remained me what it was." Remember what Cobra said?"

"Which ones?" She asked, stopping for a moment to listen to what Cobra said." About things that whisper to you, not like hearing it! But like hearing it with your mind!"

Garnet chuckles, as the bubble seemingly shakes." This will burn soon."

She said as Garnet went to her room. I followed her until the door closed." Come on!! Why aren't you working bellybutton Gem!" 

"DUMB POLICE! HANDS UP NOW!!" A voice yelled as Amethyst rushes in with me grading the plate to shield me from the water. Loud snarling and a woosh, from someone's black and white hair, passed me quickly.

"DUDUDUDUD IT'S ME, AMETHYST!!" She yelled as Cobra was over Amethyst. Looking terrifying and not him." Cobra! Don't hurt her!!"

Amethyst was thrown to the ground with Cobra looking at her." Do not hurt the child, Amethyst. I . .  .. . ."

He put his hand on his forehead, and for a moment he was back to normal." Why am I not in my room?"

"Dude!! You attack me!!" Amethyst hissed to him, glaring at Cobra. She got out and looked at the now ruined room." You didn't tell me there was food, Steven!"

She walked up to it, about to eat it all. I threw a spoon at her." No!! Together breakfast is meant for everyone, not you! Amethyst!"

"Steven's right." Cobra said, looking around." How long was I out? I was sure it was near dawn when I went back to sleep. And now it's midday?"

Water was sprayed at Cobra by Amethyst. He rushes back to her, growling loudly. Taking the water gun from her." Enough acting like a pup, Amethyst."

"I am not a child!! I am older than you ever would be!!" She snapped back." I am a Gem that survived things you wouldn't dream of, Amethyst!"

Cobra said back, as he appeared larger for a moment but then he was gone with Amethyst and the door to the temple was opened." Cobra? Amethyst?"

I walked closer to the door, curious and then I saw a room that had nothing seen in it, it was nothing but darkness." Steven!"

A voice yelled nearby." Where are you Cobra! I swear I will end you if you don't appear soon! And why your room! No one can see in here! It's just complete darkness!"

"That's the point, Amethyst. My eyes don't hurt when I'm in here, the light tends to BURN them and give me HEADACHES that are MIGRAINES LEVELS!" Cobra hissed back, with the sound of heavy thumps and hissing.

"Cobra?? Amethyst??" I called out, looking for them.

Amethyst View.

'Where was he?' I thought, trying to see him through the darkness that must be his room. His room was always dark or in near-complete darkness, something about sensitivity to light and eyes. I don't think that's normal Gem unless he's different from me.

'Why does he call me a pup?' I wondered as I heard more hissing and heavy thumping followed by Cobra's yelling.

"That's the point, Amethyst. My eyes don't hurt when I'm in here, the light tends to BURN them and give me HEADACHES that are MIGRAINES LEVELS!" He yelled as something went by me." Cobra?? Amethyst??"

STEVEN! How did he get here, in Cobra's room? He could fall into another. . " STEVEN!!" I yelled, trying to find him as the thumping grew louder and hissing was getting closer.

The hissing was heard behind me and it sounded mean as if something grab me by the shirt." Mehehe kdksksks skska!"

"Cobra!" I said, trying to wiggle out of his grab on my shirt." Why do you carry me like this! Half the damned time Steven or Garnet or Pearl isn't around!"

"Msiisiss mskakaide hmmwmwo Idkaka walks raised." He said muffled, as I struggled." Well, let me go!"

He started to walk, carrying me like a damned kitten or a dog! I am not a damned baby that needs to be carried! (relax, alpha protects, strong yet, weaker still, grow, grow, protect young, alpha not hurt, alpha protect, alpha there, strong, strong, safe, safe, relax, safe, pack.).

He drops me when there was another noise of something that sounded like purring." Are you purring?"

"Maybe. . . " Cobra said, as he snapped his fingers. Lighting the room up, and finally showing what was inside in the darkroom.

The room was like a cave at first glance with long branches of glowing blue stones lining the floor. There was a bed in one corner of the bed, but it was underneath some sort of curtains made more glowing stuff. There was a large picture of a cracked diamond with horns, next to it were three other diamond shapes. One with wings, one with four fists raised and the final one appears to be patchworked and made of metal.

"What are these!" Steven asked, appearing next to me.

I jumped when Steven was there.' Was he there the whole time?' I thought as Cobra looked almost sad before he changed into his usually neutral tired expression.

"These are a way of remembering my old friends." He mumbled as Steven puts a hand on the wall, I did the same. Tracing the patchworked one, he looked sad. And sounded so sad too.

"What happened to them?" I asked but I got no answer as Steven fell through glowing branches that looked like an ocean, next to a fire and what looked to be earth." NONONONONONO!!

"WHAT HAPPENED!" I yelled, looking at the glowing ocean symbol.

"HE fell into Pearl's room!" Cobra yelled as he rushes into the symbol disappearing through it. I drove after him.' P would have a fit if she sees Steven in her room or anywhere in the temple!'

Everything flashed blue, green and purple until I was in a room full of water." HEY PEARL!!"

Steven yelled with Pearl stopping whatever she was doing, to look over and see.' Steven!! WHYY!'

"NOT TODAY PEARL!!" Corba yelled, snarling as he protectively appeared near Steven. He acted like a dad, at times to Steven. Even though, Steven has Greg.' With all his faults too.'

"He appeared in my room by accident, it appears that his Gem is maturing and no. HE will join us one day when he is ready." He snapped at her before Pearl could even speak." Fine, but how is he here? And where is Amethyst?"

"Right here, P!" I snorted loudly, right behind Cobra and Steven." Whoa!!! Is everything here made of water! And why was Cobra's room covered in diamond symbols and looked like a cave?"

He asked excitedly as Pearl came closer." Steven, stay there with Amethyst and Cobra. Don't move a muscle, you two better not let Steven fall!"

Pearl said, getting closer.' Yeesh, will she be like this always when Steven comes in? I mean, come on. He's half-human but he isn't that weak or anything but human, he's still a Crystal Gem.'

"Why?" Steven asked as Cobra was gone. Where was he?"

"Amethyst?"

"AHAHHA!" I yelped, as he was now behind me." Dude, how do you always sneak up behind me! And everyone else?"

"You all are easy to sneak behind." He answered." Even Garnet?"

"Even here, she needs to practice with her foresight more," Cobra said, a faint glow appeared under his goggles, I squint to see what colour it was. It was pink, what doe that even mean?

"How!" I exclaimed, punching him teasingly. He flinches but smiles back and punches me with his good arm, the glow under his goggles seems to shift to a yellowish pink.

"STEVEN!" Pearl yelled, snapping our attention to him falling over the edge of the waterfalls that made Pearl's room."STEVEN/_STEVEN_!"

Steven had already fallen." THAT LEADS TO THE BURNING ROOM!!"

"Well, get in there! It leads to Garnet's room and she is down there and we have no idea what would happen to him!" Pearl yelled as Cobra jumps towards the portal." WAIT!"

I yelled, jumping after him and Steven.

Garnet View.

'Free us, Gem of LIGHT, let us find the HEIR.' Something whispers at the back of my mind.' Ruby, ignore it.'

'I know Sapphy, but it's so weird!' Ruby said back, hissing slightly. As I examined the scroll closer under the bubble, it seemed different somehow. Like it was trying to create something out of itself like it was a Gem.

The whisperings went silent as the vision came to me, showing a corrupted Gem with black eyes and glowing pupils, it had horns and it was Cobra but corrupted. It stood there and watch, growling at some. . .' This is not real, this is a vision of what could happen. This could happen to Amethyst, Pearl or myself, and Cobra.'

I thought, pushing the vision away and focusing on the scroll." AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Someone yelled as something landed behind me. Barely missing any Corrupted Gems that could have a pop. Was it Amethyst? She seems the one to do pranks, Pearl would just walk in, and Amethyst would up whenever she wanted to, and Cobra is unpredictable but he avoids this place.

'He's just being himself, mysterious, tired and seems to dislike activity unless it's us in danger.' I thought as the scroll seems to be forming a shape of some kind. Vaguely forming a diamond with wings at the sides.' Let us go, Gem of LIGHT, let us go. Free us.'

I was about to destroy the thing." Garnet! Is this your room! It's full of bubbles and other things! And it's so pretty and so hot and so. .. !"

Steven yelled, surprising me with his voice and all his questions. For a brief moment, I focused on him and not the bubble as it broke around the scroll." STEVEN!"

Pearl yelled, followed by the others landing near her. Cobra appeared stressed, Pearl looked angry and Amethyst seemed worried.

"What happened? And how did he get here?" I said calmly, as the scroll didn't do anything.' Yet.'

'It didn't do anything, yet.' I corrected myself, picking up the scroll before it turned to smoke. A vision, of a breakfast becoming possessed? And attacked the Crystal Gems, then it was destroyed by Steven.

There was no food in here, Steven didn't bring any in here. Amethyst and Cobra fought which I had never seen before, and Pearl was being protective. The smoke wove around everyone before settling around Cobra.

Seemingly it settled around him, covering his chest cloth.". .  . ######## ###### ##### ####."

Cobra said softly with the smoke shifting." It's not harmful yet. And it seems to have settled on Cobra."

"What?" Amethyst said looking at it and Cobra who seems unaffected by the smoke's presence.

"I don't know." I said as Pearl was a bit fearful of what the relic turned smoke would do and Steven unaware of the danger." It doesn't seem dangerous at the moment."

"Are you suggesting we leave it to go!" Pearl hissed, jagging a hand into the smoke around Cobra earning a growl from him." No, I'm suggesting we wait for it to reform back into a scroll and burn it."

"And take Steven outside, he shouldn't be here yet." I added." But can everyone join me! I'm making a together breakfast!"

"What is a together breakfast?" She asked." It's a meal made for everyone here! Including Cobra! I wanted to bring everyone together for today! Since everyone hadn't been together for long and I wanted to spend time with everyone and to see everyone happy and not sad or tired or mad."

"Steven, you didn't have." Cobra said, laying his only hand on Steven's shoulder." Germs can live for a very long time before. . . We stop existing, and Gems go through rough patches in relationships. I know we all had fights, arguments or other things."

I place a hand on him too." Look, how about we make a together breakfast for everyone here?"

"FU-- UDGE YEAH!" Amethyst yelled, throwing her fists happily." If we must. I would do it to make Steven happy."

Hours later, No One View

There stood several plates of pancakes with whipped cream, blueberries, strawberries and or simple toast for Fellrex" . . .. . . . "

Amethyst stared at the food." I'm EATING IT ALL!"

She announced before Fellrex grab the toast and hissed at Amethyst. Warning her to back up, she glared back challenging him with the smoke appearing around Cobra's neck hissing at her too." My food! Not yours, Amethyst!"

"Amethyst, don't," Garnet said, not joining them would be a fight between them. Pearl just rolls her eyes and picks up a plate for Steven to get." Dude!! You will either have explosive sh-- crap later or making weird noises for the rest of the day! Might as well save everyone from hearing that! Seriously, how loud are you!?"

"That's none of your business, Amethyst!" Fellrex said back eyes glowing pink in embassment before appearing on the roof beams.

He quickly ate the toast from the roof beams, before disappearing somewhere else.

"_King, what are you doing?_" A voice snarled through Fellrex, sounding dark, raspy and deep."(I'm still here, no matter how hard you try to push me away from him. After all, I was so close to breaking free from this prison.)"

"Beast?" Fellrex said, confused as he felt his mind slipping to the unconscious."_ Rest, kin. I need to deal with our LIGHT shortage, I'm sure the Gems won't mind a few less feral around. After all, they are beyond saving with me._"

"No, I can't. WE can't if we do. They will find out what we are, a Dark Gem or now I guess a Black Gem.. .. A cruel mockery of mother's memory, and her court." Fellrex argues back, growling weakly."_ Very well, kin. I will respect you, but if I am facing starvation with you and the other ONE, the choice would be obvious for what I would do._"

"(Have you ever wondered, what it was like to be in permanent control? Feeling the air, the touch of cool metal, the smell of fuel, the taste of shards? After all, you were the first of us all and you killed almost everyone but me? Have you wonder why you spare me?)" King said, seemingly smirking.

"_Your tricks won't work on me, King. I am what I am, and you should be too. Accept fate, kin is far stronger than you or I ever would be._" Beast snarls back, as Fellrex's face shifts into anger and predatory.

"(You're just an animal, with instincts that can be tricky. I trick Fellrex to get what I deserved, I want to take what is rightfully mine.)" King said before both went silent as Fellrex was pushing them both away, silencing them from his restless slumber.

"What's wrong?" A voice asked as Cobra opened an eye." Nothing, just.  .  A bad memory."
