*NOTES, This is an AU, I've had in mind for a while now. This is just for fun and is full of my own headcanons, thoughts, OCs and personal views of STEVEN UNIVERSE. Another thing, I do not own Steven Universe at all! Everyone cannon to it belongs to the rightful owner of Rebecca Sugar, as I only owned the Au idea mostly, the Original Characters and the story plot!

Another thing, I will accept feedback for this as it grows, although be specific and explain as best you can make it out to be.

No One View

Steven was riding his bike on the beach, struggling to peddle a bike to reach the temple before an earthquake shook the beach and made him fall to the ground." Whoa!"

He yelled as the Gems were discussing something without Fellrex who was just laying around. Somewhere near the Crystal Gems, Steven curious went near them." So, these earthquakes aren't normal?"

"Of course, they aren't Amethyst. They're way too frequent and too powerful since we aren't near any tectonic plates or anywhere near the ring of fire either." Pearl lectured as Steven rode by them, with Fellrex nowhere in sight but yet close enough to hear them.

Steven went down the hill before he saw a girl with glasses, reading a book as he screamed down the hill in excitement and laughed when he stopped the bike. He then looked at the girl who didn't react to Steven, merely flipping a page of her book.

Steven looked at her curious before he got an idea." Hey! Would you like to ride my bike!?"

He asked as the girl didn't say anything or hasn't shown any reaction to Steven's question. So, he decided to walk up to the girl and wave his hand at her, drawing her attention from her." Do you need anything?"

She said as Steven stuttered at first trying to say something. Anything to this girl he hadn't seen before in Beach City but he had felt like he saw her before. then he blushed brightly and rode away from her.

Steven rides back to the Crystal Gems, blushing as he did so.

"Steven are you okay!" Pearl said as he fell off the bike and ran past them." I'm fine, Pearl!"

"Are you sure?" She said, worried." Yeah, I'm fine Pearl!"

Steven insisted smiling at her, pulling away from Pearl and the others." Who were you talking to, Steven?

Steven didn't answer as he blushes a bit more." Huh?"

He said." It was that girl. You like her."

Garnet chuckled." We just meet! And we don't know each other!!"

"We never talked before either!" Steven insisted, blushing to darken.

"You like her." Amethyst teased." I LIKE EVERYONE!"

Steven said loudly, while Fellrex appeared out of nowhere." Did something happen to litt-- Steven?"

"Steven's in love!" Amethyst said, teasing Steven further as she earned a smack from Fellerx." Amethyst, at best it'll be attraction and even then that isn't loved!"

"Just go back to her, and talk to her. The Gems and I won't interfere as best they could." He said, noting Steven's blush." Thank you!!!!"

He said, before running off.

"Hi!" Steven said, to the girl who looked up from her book.

"Are you okay? I saw you run away with your bike? Did something happen?" She asked, worriedly as well as confused.

"NO! I mean, yes. NO! I'M STEVEN!" He said, stumbling with his words.

"Okay? I'm Connie. Do you live here?" Connie asked awkwardly as Steven was silent.

". . . .. Yes?" He said uneasily

Steven and Connie weren't sure of what to say yet as neither knew what to do with the other. Connie looked at her book and Steven wasn't sure of how to interact with Connie.

".... What are you reading?" He asked, his Gem glowing dimly.

"My f... " Connie didn't get the chance to finish what she was going to say when a pink bubble covered them.

"What did you do!" Connie yelled confused and panicking.

"I don't know! This never happened before and I'm half magic on my mom's side!" Steven said, putting his hands on the bubble.

"What do you even mean!" Connie said.

"Let me try to get rid of it!" He said, focusing and trying to get rid of the bubble but it didn't go away, only grew larger.

"Then how do we get out!" Connie said.

"We can get my umm. . . Guardians! They know about my powers!" Steven said, trying to roll the bubble." Why can't we get professional help!"

She said.

"Name an example that can help!" Steven said back as he rolled to the temple.

Later, Steven and Connie were still trapped in the bubble. After trying to find the Crystal Gems which weren't found except Fellrex who remained asleep through any attempt that Steven tried to wake him up.

After trying to get a rollercoaster to fall on them, after a harpoon gun which didn't launch for some reason. After Steven and Connie attempted to get something to land on the bubble but again nothing happened. After trying to fall off a short jump, to get the bubble to pop which also didn't work.

"Nothing's working!" Steven said, frustrated.

Connie shrugs, having given up on understanding after Steven started to ramble about the Crystal Gems.

Somewhere else, a corrupted Gem was motionless. Sensing a powerful presence nearby, it knew it was ancient. That it shouldn't go near it, but it also sensed another presence, the other one was strong yet weaker compared to the other one and it knew it could be near it.

But the instincts of the Gem could tell the other dominant presence was overwhelming the other weaker one. It wanted the weaker one it needed the weaker one but the stronger and powerful one was there. It would protect the weaker ones but why?

. . . It wanted to take the weaker one to survive.

Steven View.

'What do I do!!! The Gir-- I mean Connie is probability confused to what I'm trying to do.' I thought, trying to think of what to do.

"Have we met before?" Connie asked.

"I don't think so!" I said back." Unless you were at the annual Beach City parade."

"I think I was, my dad travels a lot for work." Connie said." Not like your family, he doesn't fight monsters or protect humanity."

"Well, they aren't all that awesome. Cobra's asleep like half the time!" I said, trying to comfort her.

"But can't he summon wings and teleport?" Connie asked in return.

"Maybe, I don't know! He could be moving really fast or just moving when I'm blinking. .." I suggested thinking.

"Okay." Connie said, smiling back." How about we try again?"

"In meeting each other?" I asked as Connie nodded.

"Okay! I am Steven Universe! I am part magic and I love protecting Earth from evil monsters, and bad people!" I started.

"I am Connie Maheswaran, my mom's a doctor and my dad a security guard for a bunch of different breaches. We travel a lot and I never had any friends." She said, smiling.

"That's cool! You must have seen a lot of cool places!" I said.

"Not really. . ." Connie said." I never fit in anywhere. Other kids my age thought I was weird, or odd or too smart or other things."

"They never liked me, for some reason. Guess I was just meant to be an outcast." Connie sighed.

'She's alone.' I thought." Well, you're not an outcast anymore!"

"I mean! I'm different and well, that doesn't stop me from making friends here! And I'll be your friend! Outcast friends forever?" I said, smiling at her.

"That would be amazing, Steven," Connie said, offering a hand to me which I accepted and she pulled me into a hug.

The bubble popped, freeing her and me from it." WE'RE FREE!!!!!!!!!"

I yelled, smiling.
