Prologue Pt. 2

Before the kidnapping.

Hogwarts is to be considered a beautiful home to many. A sentient castle that will do the impossible to protect her students and faculty, her family. Regardless of what wixens say or believe, they were fortunate enough to be blessed by Hecate. The Greek goddess of witchcraft, magic, and ghosts.

She has always held the belief that her precious children would grow to become great, such as Merlin. At long last, she was hit with intense disappointment and anger. Her children began to think themselves superior. Above any individual due to their blood. Calling themselves 'pure-bloods' of all things. There were several points Hecate could name ridiculous, but that would take too much time. The one thing she loathed was their audacity of abandoning, erasing or giving their own flesh and blood away. All due to being a 'half-blood' or 'squib' .

Tired is what she is. Oh so tired. And it was going to change if it's the last thing she does. Which begs the question, why now? Well it was recently brought to her attention that a young lady named Jayden Todd was revived by the Lazarus pit. While Jayden may not have magic of her own, the pits magical energy flows through her system. So it out her on the goddess' radar. Naturally, the goddess goes through Jayden's memories at the start of her toddler years to who she is now. Gotham City's vigilante Red Hood.

'By the gods, the poor chi—, she pauses her train of thought, observing a familiar man with a certain Black family features.

"Oh. This is absolutely unacceptable. I guarantee his family has no knowledge of this child, not that they'd care considering she's a squib. Her half-brothers on the other hand..." a brow raised as she speaks to herself.

The goddess of magic knows exactly how she'll change the British wizarding world for the better. Perhaps not very well meaning for young Jayden, though she'll have to get over it for the betterment of her magical world. She's sure Jayden will allow whatever plans she has in mind for the sake of the future generations. The child is a vigilante for god's sake. She'll do anything to help children. Snapping her fingers, she heads for Hogwarts.

Location: Hogwarts dining hall, Scotland. 1976. (Pretend that this is the timeline or ignore it)

Everything's been going swell as they normally would any other day. Ravenclaws reading and striking up intellectual conversations with one another. Hufflepuffs sticking to their own friend groups, but stayed visibly friendly for others around them. Gryffindors being more rambunctious than their peers, some more than others. And Slytherins who seemed to put on the act of cold and stoic, amazingly getting away with occasional laughter.

Overall things are great, no one's been killed...at least not yet. Yeah that's going to have to chan— BOOM. The enormous doors opened harshly, revealing several noble houses, members from the ministry and the minister himself. Witnessing the now forming crowd of wixens had majority of the students wide eyed and whispering to their peers. All wondering what was happening.

"Mates, what the bloody hell is going on? Whyyyy is my gods retching family here? Well except for uncle alphard." Sirius whispers to the other marauders, silently panicking.

James was the first to recover from shock, leaning close enough for the boys to hear him. "No idea, but can't be all that well with practically everyone here."

Remus and Peter nodded their heads in agreement. "I'm sure they'll explain it in a moment," Remus assured. "I just hope it's nothing bad," Peter mumbles to himself.

Amelia Bones moves to the front, holding what appears to be a letter. "Headmaster Dumbledore, apologies for intruding in such a manner, but it cannot wait if what I read in this letter to be true." She passes said letter to the headmaster. "Please read it aloud."

Dumbledore reaches for the letter with hesitation before nodding. Clearing his throat it reads,
My dear wixen

This letter should arrive a few minutes before me. The only statement I can make at the moment is in regards to the older generation. You have disappointed me immensely with these ridiculous notions of pure-bloods being above those who are not. Changes WILL be made through any means necessary. Just so happens it will be through a young woman named Jayden Todd. One man knows exactly who I speak of. Now, prepare for my arrival.

Mother of Magic, Hecate.

Chaos ensued throughout the room. Because the Mother of Magic? Changes will be made? WHAT?! Though, one man in particular broke out in sweat and paled. This man is Orion Black, husband of Walburga and father of Sirius and Regulus Black.

Walburga noticed how her husbands demeanor changed after hearing the letter. She narrowed her eyes, "Orion. Are you well?"

Orion licked his lips and nodded, "Yes, yes. All is well." He averted his eyes. "For the time being," muttering to himself. He knows what's to happen and there was no stopping it.

Suddenly, a bright flash appeared towards the front, ceasing the noise in the hall. Once the light dimmed everyone could see a divine woman, looking every bit of a goddess. Radiating power around her very being. Not only power, but they swear they could feel her anger as well. Which honestly terrified them.

Her voiced boomed, "Greetings...As I have previously stated, changes will be made. You've gone far enough with these silly games of pure bloods only. Embrace that each and everyone of you is equal, that no-majs can be just as dangerous as you. There's more to explore than being locked up in this backwards community."

Protests were thrown around the room, quickly coming to a stop when the goddess yells, "Silence! This stops now. The young lady I plan to bring will help in showing how dangerous a squib is and quite possibly stronger than you lot." Hearing this had the pure blooded families bristle because that simply wasn't possible. Muggle-born students knew all too well considering the news they've heard or read about Gotham city.

"Before we begin, I'd like for Orion Black to take his family to side. It's about that time for said conversation," staring him down till he flinches. She continues, "You tell them everything. At once." Orion, nervously sweats and nods in response.

He does as he's told, gathering his family quickly. Moving to the back of the room he turns abruptly. He can feel their stares digging at his back. Pinching the bridge of his nose and sighs, "I- How can I say this? Uh, Walburga at the beginning of our marriage we weren't happy. We both know that."

She has a feeling she knows where this was going. Sirius and Regulus looked at each other then turned away quickly. Their father continues, "Straight to the point then. I had an affair with an American pure blood named Catherine Todd. Which lead to producing a child. A little girl. I believe she's 3 years older than you Sirius. You're 17, so she'd be 20 right now."

Three different reactions. One screeching. The second chokes in disbelief. The final one was not surprised with the affair, but went wide eyed at the child part. Alphard, Cygnus, and Druella were shocked, not surprised, just stunned in silence.

"E-Excuse me?! Affair? WHAT AFFAIR?!"

"We have a sister. Gods we have a sister!" Sirius exclaimed, full blown laughter.

"Yes Sirius, I heard. Do take the time to think what type of life she's lead for Hecate to bring her here."

That bring them to a complete stop. Regulus was correct. How is this Jayden meant to help change everyone's beliefs? With Orion abandoning her in gods knows where, she was probably a squib. No magic for her to use, which is why Orion left. Too ashamed with not only an affair, but with producing a non magical child.

Alphard coming back to his senses, snorted, "alright. Time to move on. We'll deal with this later. If Lady Hecate is bringing your child here, I'd like to fast forward and meet her." At that, the boys split off to their respective tables, processing all this new information. The adults stayed near by, but it was obvious to anyone something big had occurred.

The Mother of Magic took that as her confirmation in moving onto the next phase. Bringing her here. Stepping away from everyone else she flicks her hand to the side, opening a pitch black portal. "Now my lovely shadows, bring me Jayden Todd of Gotham City." Multiple dark shadow like hands surround the room, rapidly traveling to the portal.

Hey everyone! Just like to start off by apologizing for how long the prologue is. There should be at least one more. In most reacting stories, everything goes too fast and too unrealistic. Not saying mine is any better cause it's not. I just wanted to change that and have it go a little slower with more explanations.

Anyways hope you enjoyed it!
