(Y/n's POV)

It's been a few weeks since we joined Beacon. So far I think it is just a huge waste of time, but Ruby seems to enjoy it.

Y/n: School sucks ass!

Neo: It's not that bad

Y/n: Not that bad? Weren't you complaining about the uniforms yesterday?

Neo: Don't get smart with me Y/n

Neo "said" while smacking the back of my head.

Y/n: When did you get so strong...

Neo rolled her eyes at me, before she hopped off her bed and made her way to the door. I could see the mischief in her dual colored eyes as she shook her hips with every step.

The second after she opened the door, Ruby flew into the room using her semblance and crashed right into her bed.

She got up with lightning speed, her eyes darting all around the room till they landed on me. I barely had enough time to brace myself from Ruby's tackle.

Ruby: Ynisawsomanycoolweaponsagaintodaythankyouthankyouthankyouforlettingmegohere!

I blankly stared at her. She has been super happy since we came to Beacon which is the only reason why I still am here. I've even learned to decipher her super speed talking with how much she gets excited about.

Y/n: You don't have to keep saying that Ruby. You act like I'm Oum himself

Ruby broke the hug and sheepishly smiled at me while rubbing her arm. Neo slung her arm around Ruby's shoulder and put a little notecard in front of Ruby.

Whatever was on the card made Ruby blush several shade darker then her cape.

Ruby: I'mgoingtogogetlunchby!

She babbled while rushing out of the room with her semblance.

I rolled my eyes at Neo when she gave me a grin, before she left following the trial of rose petals to the cafeteria.

(Ruby's POV)

Oum Neo! Why do you have to say things like that!

I blush again thinking about what Neo wrote on the card, while I sit down and start eating. I just wish Neo had a little self control when it came to how she feels about Y/n and her willingness to share him.

I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice team JNPR sit down next to me. They were the only people I trust other then Y/n and Neo.

Pyrrha: Hey Ruby how have you been?

Ruby: Great! What about you guys?

Jaune: Never better...

Nora: Pancakes!

Ren: Nora!.. We've been fine

I giggled at their response. They always seemed to be pretty laid back and they all had confidence in their abilities.

Jaune: Say Ruby why don't you and me go on a date tomorrow?

I blushed at the question he asked. I nearly choked on my food from my surprise.

Ruby: Oh.. uh.. I.. Ok?...

Jaune: Great!

I felt a wave of killer intent directed at me, but when I looked around I could find where it was coming from. Team JNPR soon left.

I sat there in silent thinking about Jaune's question. I didn't mean to accept it...
I just was surprised by it and I don't want to hurt his feelings by backing out of it now.

I put my head down and sighed to myself. I felt a familiar pair of arms wrap around me.

(Neo's POV)

Man Ruby sure can go fast when she uses her semblance. When I got into the cafeteria it looked like Ruby was a little down so I decided to give her one of my signature hugs that only she and Y/n get.

Neo: What ya thinking about Ruby?

Ruby: I accidentally accepted to go on a date...

Neo: How do you accidentally do that?

Ruby: I panicked... I was just so surprised I didn't know what to say.

Neo: Who asked you?

Ruby: Jaune...

Neo: That Idiot? Why would you accept a date from him?

Ruby: I don't know...

My standards of Ruby might have dropped a little when she said that. I mean who in their right mind would go on a date with that freak? He is totally a closest creep.

I hoped off the bench and pulled Ruby along with me. If she was going on a date, even with a total loser, she still needed to look the part.

Timeskip

(3rd POV)

It's the day of her date and Ruby is pacing back in forth around the dorm. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous. She wore a red dress that brought out her hair (The dress that she wears for the dance)

Y/n: So why him again?

Neo: She said she panicked

Y/n: Panicked? How do you panic and accept a date accidentally?

Neo: It's Ruby...

Y/n laid in his bed watching Ruby's every move. He is in the same boat as Neo and wondering why Jaune? He is an ok guy, but he seemed a little off.

A knock at the door attracted all their heads. Ruby was the first to get to the door and opened it to reveal Jaune.

Something sparkled in Jaune's eyes and it shot red flags straight through Y/n.

Timeskip (Night)

(3rd POV)

The date seemed to be going well. Jaune took Ruby to several weapon shops and a bakery to buy cookies.

Ruby seemed to forget about Jaune as she scarfed down cookies and looked at weapons. She was relaxed on their walk back to Beacon. Ruby thought the day went pretty well.

(I feel so disgusted with myself for writing this, but for the plot to get to were I want it I need something terrible)

She didn't notice the fist coming straight at her until it connected with the side of her face, causing her ago stumble and fall into the alley.

Ruby: J-Jaune wha-

She recoiled in fear as he loomed over he. He pinned her against the wall whispered into my ear. The smile he gave was anything, but pleasant.

Jaune: You let your guard down Ruby. I'm gonna love using you as my personality cum bank...

He ripped the top of her dress and started fondling her breast through her bra. His dirty eyes looked all over her body like she was a piece of meat.

Jaune's weight was suddenly off of me completely and I opened my eyes to see Y/n slamming Jaune's head against the wall.

(3rd POV)

Y/n slammed his head into the wall one more time, before grabbing him by the throat and lifting him off the ground.

Jaune's eyes widened when he lost his ability to breath. He hit Y/n's prosthetic arm over and over, but it wouldn't budge.

Ruby hugged the back of Y/n crying fat tears. She clung to him like glue. When Jaune started to turn blue, Y/n let him go. He aimed his gun to his head, but Ruby put her hand on it.

Ruby: Pl-Please don't... Just t-take me h-home Y/n

Y/n looked at her like she was crazy. Why would she still try to see the good in people? He nodded while still staring directly into Jaune.

He sighed when Y/n started walking away, but in a split second a bullet was lodged in his stomach.

His faces paled when he looked into Y/n's eyes. They were cold... It's as if he'll just froze over and a new devil was born.

He was so afraid he pissed himself, before passing out from pain.

(Y/n's POV)

Dammit Ruby why didn't you just let me kill him. He tried to rape you for Oum's sake.

I stared intently at her. She was snuggled up to Neo, both sleeping peacefully. Ruby twitched here and there, whimpering, but Neo's grip tightened when she did, killing what was troubling her.

If the bastard Jaune so much as looks at Ruby I'm going to snap his neck. That's a promise!
