(Y/n's POV)

I was currently walking towards the home of team STRQ since Ruby interrupted my first trip.

Staying in the shadows I crept up to a window and looked in. The door to the house opens and two blond and black haired people walk out and into the forest.

As soon as they were far enough away I picked the doors lock. Looking around I saw a very few things of value. Delving deeper into the home I found a storage room.

It had various weapons and trinkets, but what caught my eyes was a black and red scythe. I was admiring the weapon when I heard noice from up stairs.

I grabbed the weapon and snuck into the closest room.

???: Do you think we will find her dad?

Tai: I don't know Yang

Yang: She couldn't have gone far

Raven: Are we sure she didn't become Grimm food?

Yang: Mom!

Raven: What I'm just sayings it's a possibility

Qrow: Ruby is a strong girl Raven

Did they say Ruby? What do they have to do with her?

Tai: Lets all get some sleep and we can try again in the morning

I sunk deeper into the shadows as they all separate. I looked around the room and noticed it was pretty run down. It had a dirty mattress and blood stained glass all over the ground.

Why would they have a room like this? Did someone live in this room?

A picture sticking out from under the mattress caught my eye. Picking up the picture I saw it was a older looking version of Ruby holding a baby Ruby.

I folded the picture and climbed out the window. Inspecting the scythe again I noticed it had a sniper rifle figuration too.

This weapon was obviously high quality and it made me jittery thinking about how much I could sell it for.

(Qrow's POV)

Tai: Lets all get some sleep and we can try again in the morning

Something doesn't feel right... I scanned the house when I saw slight movement in Ruby's room.

No one would try to go out the front so I snuck outside and watch her window. A few minutes later a Faunus boy climbed out and walked off.

Transforming in a crow I followed him. Flying closer I noticed he had Ruby's scythe. I was about to surprise attack him, but his head snapped right towards me.

How did he know where I was? He starts to run off. I didn't chase him knowing he would be on guard. Tai is not going to be happy about this.

(Y/n's POV)

Something about that bird was off. It was following me since I left that house. I should definitely be more careful next time I rob them.

When I got home I put my gear away. I went to give Ruby the picture, but she was sleeping so I left it next to the bed.

I was about to leave when I saw her shiver. I shuffle over and tuck her in. She seemed to relax more and had a content smile. I couldn't help, but smile too before I left.

I drifted off to sleep thinking about Ruby and what could have happened to her. This human was going to be the death of me.
