Dhruv was sitting in his chamber opening the book, a hint of curiosity evident in his gaze

The first page read

Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani

Adhuri ho ker bhi poori hai inki Kahani

Yeh kaisa introduction hua?

Dhruv thought.

He begin to read the page.

Main leads: Sultan Dhruv 1 and Mishti

The first official meet

Ba adab, ba mulahiza hoshiyar Sultan Dhruv tashreef la rahe hain.

Everyone hurriedly stood up and rushed to stand in a line and bowed down.

As Dhruv entered, girls couldn't help but smile and steel a glance at him. His face carved in perfect angles and lines was too handsome for his own good, his deep brown shinned with  fire as he walked ahead with his head held high.

Sultan Dhruv!!!

A shrill scream reached his ears, he stopped. Everyone gasped and uplifted their head. There she was...

Her complexion was fair, her beautiful caramel hair cascaded down her back like an endless waterfall of silk, looking at him with her beautiful forest green eyes. Dhruv walked upto her. The corners of his mouth hooking up into a smile which he suppressed. His eyes filled with warmth and a hint of curiosity which no one could make out.

Ji!!!

He said and she felt her breath hitch. Her heart quickened it's pace and then her breath left her in a whoosh. She blinked her eyes and was about to fall but he held her in his arms while she looked at him dazed.

Kya hua?

He asked worried, a frown forming on his forehead but she didn't react. Her face softened as the fire in her heart calmed as they continued gazing at each other rather lost

On The Other Side!!!

Bhai ji.

Tara called out softly walking towards Mahaveer. Mahaveer smiled softly at Tara.

Kya hua Taru?

Mahaveer asked worriedly.

Tara held his hand and asked, her voice filled with worry

Bhai ji hum sach mein wahan per gaye thy ya woh sapna tha koi?

Tara asked as she looked at Mahaveer, her heart a mixture of longing for the truth and uncertainty.

Haan Taru. Sach mein gaye thy hum.

Mahaveer said softly, his voice filled with sincarity.

Matlab woh sapna nahin tha?

Tara asked, covering her mouth with her palm for a moment before confusion clouded her judgement.

Nahin Taru.

Mahaveer said softly, his voice filled with sincarity.

Toh Dhruv ko kuch yaad kyun nahin hai?

Tara asked, her voice filled with confusion.

Pata nahin woh toh humari samajh mein bhi nahin aa raha.

Mahaveer said, his voice carrying a hint of uncertainty.

Shayad humein dubara wahan jana chahiye.

Mahaveer suggested, his voice carrying a hint of hope despite the cloud of uncertainty that loomed over them.

Hum Dhruv ji ko bula ker laate hain.

Tara said softly and left from there to call Dhruv.

Dhruv,s chamber!!!

Yaar inka relationship kitna dreamy hai.

Dhruv said to himself, his voice filled with awe and a touch of dreaminess.

Yeh main kya soch raha hoon yaar. Dimag per chad gayi hai yeh story mere.

Dhruv thought closing the book.

Tara.

Dhruv exclaimed and he stood up from the bed.

Kya hua?

Dhruv asked reaching out to cup one of her cheek tenderly, his worry clear in his voice as he watched the worry lines etched into her forehead. The pace by which she had almost rushed to him upon seeing him close the book, her desperation clear.

Aap aaiye humare sath.

Tara said instead, holding his hand. She ran further.

Tara kya hua hai? Kahan le ker ja rahi ho?

Dhruv asked stumbling on his steps as he struggled to keep up with her pace.

As they walked passageway after passageway towards the wall where the portrait hung once. They saw Mahaveer standing there. Mahaveer saw them and spun the wheel kind of thing and then the wall shifted backwards. Once they entered inside, the wall behind them started to close and a harsh, golden light filled the space causing all the three to close their eyes. A golden clock appeared and started ticking.

They felt a sudden shift in their surroundings and when they opened their eyes, they found themselves in the familiar, yet not so familiar chamber.

Ba adab ba mulahiza hoshiyar Sultan Dhruv tashreef la rahe hain.

Yeh mujhe uss pustak jaisa kyun lag raha hai.

Dhruv thought.

The trio hurried out of the chamber and reached the haram.

Everyone was bowing down, gentle smile playing on the lips of all the girls.

Dhruv,s face was a canvas of pure sternness but the look in his eyes was soft, his ever so captivating deep brown orbs had lost their shine, a testament to the burden he carried on his shoulders

But then a shrill scream reached his ears which made him stop.

SULTAN DHRUV!!!

Everybody gasped and uplifted their heads, their eyes wide with a mixture of shock and disbelief.

There stood, the same girl Mishti who was glaring at Dhruv with fire in her captivating forest green orbs. Her beautiful caramel hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of silk. The corners of his mouth hooking up into a smile which he suppressed as he walked towards her, his eyes were now filled with warmth and a hint of curiosity

Ji.

Dhruv said and she felt her breath hitch. Her heart quickened it's pace and then her breath left her in a whoosh. She blinked her eyes and was about to fall but he held her in his arms while she looked at him dazed.

Kya hua?

Dhruv asked worried, a frown forming on his forehead but it seemed like she was lost. Her eyes locked into his and she found herself drowning in their depths.

Sultan Dhruv.

The girl Mishti mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper, tinged with genuine awe.

Dhruv,s heart raced in his chest and he couldn't help the small smile that tugged at his lips and reached his eyes but the smile was only visible to her as she looked at it closely and to his bestest friend who (Ved) who stayed with him though thick anf thin and then he smiled seeing Dhruv smiling.

Hey Bhagwan yeh ladki pakka maregi kyunke aaj tak kisi main itni himat nahin hai ke Kisi bhi sultan ko naam se bulaye. Isne apni maut ko dawat di hai. Hey Bhagwan isse bachana

A girl murmured under her breath, her fear evident.

Mere aaka maaf ker dijiye yeh ladki.

A young woman said softly, her eyes dropped as she apologized.

Dehan rakho iska.

Dhruv said, a gentle command lacing his words and the girl nodded. Everyone knew that he was not the one to be messed with.

As Tara watched the scene, she felt her heart being twisted rather painfully in her chest. Tears welled up in her eyes and then she forced herself to look at her right side hoping to find Dhruv there to tell her that it's all a dream or this is all fake and he's only hers but she didn't find him there. Her heart raced out of fear. She gulped the lump that formed in her throat and then looked at her left side and her heart sank when she she couldn't find him there too. She looked ahead, a tear rolled down her cheek as a sob trembled out of her mouth.

Taru.

Mahaveer called out but she couldn't hear him, her eyes fixed on Dhruv and Mishti. As she looked into Dhruv,s eyes, she found a mixture of admiration and warmth in their depths.

Dhruv.

Tara mumbled, her body went stiff, her legs wobbled and she stepped back gasping and then she closed her eyes, a sudden wave of coldness swept over her making her tremble. She was about to fall but Mahaveer held her.

As the clock stricks 12, a harsh golden light filled the space and Mahaveer and Tara closed their eyes. They felt a shift in their surroundings and when they opened their eyes, they found themselves back in the 17th century.

Mahaveer and Tara looked at each other for a moment before a a wave of uncertainty washed over them and they looked around.

Dhruv...

They both whispered in unison and ran towards Dhruv,s chamber.

When they entered inside, they gasped finding Dhruv soundly asleep.

Their eyes want wide in shock and they looked at each other. Their hearts raced out of fear. Tara gulped the lump that formed in her throat and reached out, hesitantly shaking Dhruv to wake him up.

Dhruv.

Tara called out, her voice barely above a whisper, tinged with uncertainty.

Kya hua Tara?

Dhruv asked opening his eyes, his voice caressed with sleep.

Aap yahan....

Tara trailed off, her confusion evident.

Woh ankh lag gayi thi.

Dhruv said sitting up on the bed and smiled lazily at her.

Oh GOD ek aur sapna...

Dhruv thought confused.
