Now in the last chapter, we learnt how to focus mana into part of our body. However, we only focused it into one part of our body and moved it around a bit to move the wind. This time we're gonna be focusing our mana into two hands for the most basic fire spell. Sorry but not actual fire... Yet.

So you know how on chilly days when your hands get cold you rub them together to heat them up because of a silly little concept you mortals call friction. Well, this spell works a lot like that but cooler. So all you have to do is channel mana into both of your hands, much like the wind spell but with both your hands this time. Once you feel as though you are ready, start violently rubbing your hands together until they become unbearably hot. But do be warned doing this for too long may result in injury.

Now once you have successfully heated your hands up you can then place your hands on any object, living or otherwise, and heat it up. It's great on a cold day or just for pranking a friend. But it can also be used to heat up something that's cold. A quick word of advice, when you use this the heat will fade quickly, but it'll last longer if you channel your mana into your hands the entire time you use it.

When my teacher taught me this, she first demonstrated it by heating up her cold tea. She said that once I mastered the technique and my mana control that I'd be able to do that. It turns out she used a much more advanced spell to make me try as hard as possible.
