Now horrible spell pun aside this is where your natural talent and earned talent will really shine through. Now, the main reason that I specified the two is that mana control is something that can come quite naturally to someone whose parents were fluent in magic, but if your family has rejected magic for centuries you'll find this spell very hard to do. Actually, most spells will be hard to do if you lack mana control so it may be best for those of you that don't have wizardry in your veins.
Now, this spell will allow you to conjure and shape the physical form of mana. Now a few notes before we begin. Mira, the physical form of mana, cannot be seen, even by the most astute wizards. Mira cannot interact with the physical world. And lastly having a partner for this spell may be handy. Now while I did say Mira can't interact with the world it does generate wind that can be felt by the caster once they get used to it, otherwise, someone else can stick their hand between the casters and feel the wind for them. Lastly, the feel of the wind will tell you someone's natural element. If the wind is hot then it's fire, if it's clammy it's water, if it's dry then it's earth and lastly, if it's cold then it's wind. More on your natural element later.
Finally the good stuff. So just like before this will involve you channeling mana to two of your hands, once you feel mana at your fingertips close your eyes and try to visualize it traveling into your hands. Once you've done that, visualize the mana leaving your hand and floating between your two hands (which should look like you're holding a basketball.) akin to a small sphere of some kind. Once you've visualized something the size of a baseball, try reshaping it to another shape, such as a disc, a boomerang, or even if you're feeling adventurous a doll. You can do this by moving your hands while still keeping your eyes closed and visualizing your Mira, grab parts of it and pull like you're shaping clay.
Eventually, we'll revisit this concept and learn about the three types of Mira. Physira, Mentira, and Spira.
My teacher taught me this spell alongside my late sister Lynn. She started by creating a ball and told us to feel the wind in her hands. She has the element of fire. I and my sister then learned the spell for ourselves and tested our elements. Lynn had earth and I had water, a perfect opposite. I goofed around with this spell a lot when we weren't learning and ended up getting hit by my teachers Physira quite a bit haha.
