"Wh- What..? Suki.. you're not messing with me are you?" He said smiling shyly and averting his eyes away from the taller teen. "Of course I'm not fucking with you.. Ei- you're my best friend of course I love you." Akiyama said letting his own embarrassment take over. He loved Eijirou, more than just friends, but he couldn't just straight up tell him that. He didn't want to confess like this. He wanted it to be perfect. He was in actuality scared that Eijirou might not be his soulmate. The thought terrified him and he hated it.

"Oh.. right I love you too Suki, as my best friend.. of course." Kurusu said lying. He genuinely loved Katsuki. It was more than mere admiration. He felt like he didn't deserve someone like Akiyama. Katsuki was perfect, perfect grades, flawless skin, a beautiful smile.. He was strong, confident and his quirk was so advanced and flashy. Eijirou was purely and unconsciously in love with Katsuki.

KATSUKI POV
I definitely fucked that up. I picked up Ei and noticed a blush creep onto his cheeks. I wondered why. Was it possible he maybe felt the same? I wanted to kiss him. I gazed at him and wondered what color his eyes were. "Suki..? Um Suki..?" He tilted his head as I snapped out of my daze. "Huh..? What's up Ei?" I said as I knew I must've been blushing. "Shouldn't we go back to class.. I mean you should change real quick too before we go." He said as I sat him down in the locker room changing real quick.

EIJIROU POV
Katsuki was so gorgeous. He probably didn't notice me glancing at him every now and then. He was slim, but muscular. Simply perfect to me. I tried getting up but forgot about my ankle. So I started falling, luckily activating my quirk before impact. I was so grateful for my shield. Although I've always wished for it to be better in battle. Suki must've heard the thud because he ran over to me shirtless. "Shit Ei you okay?" He said looking worried."Yeah haha it doesn't hurt. I wish I could've activated it when I sprained my ankle." I smiled my sweetest at him. "You're such an idiot sometimes.." Suki smiled and helped me up. I don't think I'll ever get used to him shirtless.

NORMAL POV
They both headed out with Kurusu riding on Akiyama's back. The dark haired teen was blushing and hiding his face in his best friend's shoulder. People were staring. It was embarrassing. Thank God that middle school was almost over. "You okay Ei?" Akiyama said a bit worried. He knew Eijirou didn't like the attention. "Yeah.." he mumbled. "I just don't feel good after earlier." He sighed, almost feeling nauseous. "Those guys were lucky.. If they would've actually done anything I'd be in jail for homicide." Kurusu frowned. "If you went to jail I'd be sad.

Akiyama just smiled and shook his head. "Don't worry- I'm gonna be the number one hero! I wouldn't want to leave your side anyway." He mumbled. Eijirou smiled and shook his head. "I know you'll be. Maybe we could be a duo if I learn how to use my quirk better." The slightly shorter cheered. "Maybe this summer we can train together for the entrance exams..?" He asked. "Yeah for sure." The ash blonde said putting Eijirou onto the bleachers. "Now.. watch me kick all these extras' asses!" Akiyama declared. "Be nice Suki-" Kurusu said ready to cheer his boyfr- best friend on, which he did literally all day until it was time to go home.

"You need a lift?" Katsuki said smiling brightly and kneeling down. "I wouldn't mind." Eijirou said getting onto his back and carrying both of their backpacks as they started walking home. "So what happened to your ankle exactly?" The slightly taller asked. "Fell.." the shorter said in a low tone. "You're not lying are you Ei..? I mean I won't judge you." Akiyama said dropping him off at his house. "Well.. some people from my old school saw me walking and they pushed me so hard that when I fell I twisted my ankle.. I'm really weak.. I don't know why you like me so much." He smiled sadly.

"Look Ei.. I lied earlier. I just.. I don't think you're pathetic or weak. I just think you need to learn how to stand up for yourself. Your quirk is bad ass. Like an unbreakable shield?! You can definitely knock the hell outta somebody!" Akiyama smiled at the shorter. "If you think so.. I'll believe it. You make me really happy Suki." Katsuki couldn't take this any longer. He was lying to Eijirou and himself.

"Hey close your eyes.."
"Huh..? Why?"
"Just do it Ei- before I pussy out."
"Okay.."
"Don't open them until I say so.."

Katsuki closed his eyes too, before leaning in and kissing the boy he felt was his soulmate. He was too scared to open his eyes so he just embraced Eijirou and held him close.

"Katsuki did you just..?!"
"Yeah.. if I don't see colors when I open my eyes, I want you to know I love you, not like a best friend though. I love you li- like a lover."
"Katsuki.." he whispered with a hint of wonder in his voice.
The ash blonde opened his eyes.
