EIJIROU POV
Luckily both of us got discharged before the entrance exams. I still had a broken arm, but that surely wasn't going to stop me. I'm not the same weak little boy people used to look down on. Today was also the last day me and Suki had to wear these stupid middle school uniforms. Katsuki had looked kind of anxious this whole time. He said a lot of strange things last night. I'm glad he could confide in me. I believe him. He is the guy who gifted me with all these spectacular colors after all. My one and only soulmate.

KATSUKI POV
Apparently it was like traditional to take down these giant robots as part of the UA entrance exams. Kurusu and I got put in different areas. I looked over at him and was insanely worried about his arm and just him in general. "Suki! I gotta go good luck though. If I finish early I'll cheer for you." He winked and hugged me with one arm. I hugged back and smiled slightly. He changed a lot since I first met him. His smile is more genuine and bright. I'll do anything I can to make sure it stays that way. "Yeah.. I'll be cheering for you too Ei- so go kick some ass!" I said grinning as he waved and was off.

NORMAL POV
Katsuki was exploding things left and right. He was probably a league ahead of these candidates. He saw this guy with green hair and pushed him out the way as a robot fell next to them. "Be careful you nerd!" His test ended pretty quickly. Akiyama ran to the observation area and saw Denki shooting electricity and going stupid after. He laughed at his dumb friend. The screen switched to an area near Eijirou. Kurusu put up his diamond- like shield over his whole body as some guys were provoking him and teasing him..?

"What kind of shit is that..?!" He said looking at the monitor intently. The dark haired teen was shown pushing his bullies out of the way as a robot smashed through him and the terrain around them. Katsuki covered his mouth and tried not to scream. Watching his soulmate getting crushed like that in turn crushed his own heart. Maybe they should give up on being heroes. It's how we both died last time, is what Katsuki thought as he saw Eijirou was able to get up unscathed.

His little shield looked cracked but thicker somehow? Katsuki started to tear up a little. All their hard work was finally paying off. He smiled sweetly at the monitor as the exam seemed to be over for his boyfriend as well. He held his arms up when he saw Eijirou walking back. The dark haired teen started running as he essentially tackled his soulmate to the ground. "Suki I did it! I think.. well.. I think one day I'd love to be a superhero with you.." he said tearing up like he usually would.

Katsuki just laughed a little and wrapped his arms around him. "I think I could've told you that. "You're pretty damn strong Eijirou. You did all that fighting with a broken arm. There's no way in hell you didn't get in." The ash blonde said sitting up with Eijirou on his lap. "You're too sweet ya know?" Eijirou said pouting. "Only for you, ya weirdo-"

A moment later the guy with green hair bowed in front of Akiyama. "H- hi.. thank you for saving me earlier. My name's Izuku Saotome. I hope we can be friends!" Izuku said blushing. That made Eijirou kind of wary and maybe a bit cautious. His hand kind of started forming his shield unconsciously. "Yeah whatever you nerd. Can't you see I'm busy?" Katsuki said pointing to Eijirou. "Oh sorry.. I just wanted to thank you and maybe get your name?" The green haired boy said.

"Yeah no- I've decided I don't like you. My name's Katsuki Akiyama and this gorgeous guy is Eijirou Kurusu, my boyfriend. Read the mood better next time and maybe, 'maybe' I'll consider talking to you again." He smirked. "If you make it in you damn geek." With that Izuku hauled ass and left. "Suki that was pretty brutal.." Ei said. "Yeah well I can tell the bastard likes me. Best to let him know I belong to you." The ash blonde stuck out his tongue and kissed his hand. "You're jealousy kinda shows too pretty boy." He said smiling as Kurusu noticed his quirk was activated. He blushed and shook his head.

"I'm not jealous.. I'm just trying to be defensive.. Yeah like if he touched you I would've been your shield you know?" Ei said smiling. "You really sure you want to be a hero Ei?" Katsuki said thinking about the past again."I want to be a hero more than anything Suki. I don't want kids to ever end up like me.. I just got lucky to meet you. If I hadn't.. maybe." He stopped and shook his head. "Actually never mind that. I love you and you make me want to be a better person." He didn't care that people were staring, Ei leaned in and kissed Katsuki for a moment.

"A manly heart to me, is a life led without regret. I said that back then right..? I liked Eijirou Kirishima a lot. Red Riot was cool.. I want to be just like him Katsuki."

That bright smile was going to be the death of Katsuki.
