Untitled Part 11

The slash completely healed, as if nothing had been done. Then, instead of targeting professor Rowell, the figure went for Lidusis. Seeing this, Rood steps in front of Lidusis, shielding him. The blast the figure had aimed at Lidusis completely vanished as it came in contact with Rood.

"Mr. Chrishi? How...?" Professor Kahn was astonished.

"Don't look away, idiot." Professor Rowell said.

"So...From what I can tell. It doesn't take any physical damage as you've seen before. It can also change it's form however it wants. You can't cut it...Or catch it. It's like a ghost or something." Professor Khan theorized. "Just where...Did something like this come from?"

.....

"Alright. Everyone, come over here." Lain called to the panicked Iduns. "Huddle up here and...Let's watch together." Lain sat huddling his knees.

Noticing Lain, Chevel was speechless. "What are you doing?" Chevel called. "This isn't the time to be watching leisurely!"

"Come on. Don't think too hard, Hadelio." Lain smiled. "We're still inside the school. I don't know what thing is, but the professors will take care of it soon." Lain scratched his cheek. "It doesn't look like we can get out of here either...And it doesn't look like that black pillar will do any harm to us if we just sit here and wait-"

A black tendril that had erupted from the tornado like pillar came in contact with Chevel's back head.

"...Never mind." Lain called. Watching Chevel on the floor, another black tendril had made its way to Lain. "Belta," Lain chanted as his ring glowed a bright purple. "Shield." From the direction of the approaching tendril, Lain brought his left hand up, and from it emitted a purple plaque shield, blocking the invader. "What's happening?" The shield disappearing. "Does it want to just play around with us?"

"Damn. Annoying!" Chevel yelled as he stood. Then taking a step, his leg was wet, covered in the black liquid he had just been hit with. "what? Since when..."

"Chevel." Anna called.

Looking up, Chevel found the black pillars were engulfing the diamond shaped magic stone. Minutes later, It was gone.

Rood looked up, seeing as how the pillars that were erupting black tendrils were now moving in groups, he became a little worried.

"That thing...I don't like it." Professor Rowell went at the figure again, using nothing but her sword. Professor Khan came up from behind, releasing a spell that kept the figure in place. "Tessiana...Awaken." Using her iced sword, professor Rowell swung at the figure again. This time, it slit in half, with ice taking each corner of each piece. In a matter of seconds, the figure was completely engulfed in ice, and it violently shattered, falling to the floor.

"Did they...Take care of it.?" Dio asks.

"...No." Rood replied.

Just then, black flares erupted from the shattered ice, forming the figure again. Then as if the figure had triggered it, the pillars that were combined split apart again, this time growing bigger. It was now just about as tall as the building. The liquid on the floor was now rapidly increasing, abundant. It overwhelmed the building, flooding everything.

Dio shrieked.

"The teleportation circle. Professor Rowell! At this rate..." Professor Khan attempted.

Professor Rowell had already rushed to princess Yuti's side, who stood by Lapis. "Yuti!" Professor Rowell called.

"Tessi!" Yuti called back.

"Pro-Professor Rowell!" Professor Khan called, but as he did, Lapis, Yuti, and professor Rowell were engulfed in the black water. Professor Khan didn't have time to processes it because he too was consumed.

Rood watched as the water devoured everyone in its path, leading them to a place only Rood knew. Rood turned his attention back to Lidusis and the rest.

"Everyone. Hold on tight. Don't ever let go." Rood commanded. "If you do, you'll be separated."

"Ro-Rood! What's going to happen to us?" Dio asks, panicking.

"We'll be teleported..." Rood stretched his hand to Lidusis. "Lidusis! Hold on."

Lidusis reached Rood's hand, but before he could get in contact, Rood was already surrounded by the water. "Ro-" Lidusis began, but it was too late. Rood was taken in by the water. Gone.

"Rood!" Dio yelled. Just then Lin disappeared into the water. "Lin!" Dio turned to Lidusis. "W-What do I do? Ar-Artian..."

Lidusis stood frozen, where Rood had just stood. Something inside him burned, and he didn't like it.

"Artian!" Dio called again. He reached for Lidusis, but was engulfed before getting in contact.

Lidusis fell to the floor. "It's...All my fault..." Lidusis uttered as he disappeared into the liquid himself.

The figure stood, toppling above while watching the scene below. "...Teleportation complete-" Before it could finish, it received a stab to its chest. It turned its head to the hole where it was pierced and looked back at whoever had done it.

"...It was my mistake. The day I first saw you, I should've killed you." Blow stood behind the figure, engulfed in his own mana. Blow didn't allow the figure to respond, instead, he grabbed a hold of it. Blow held it in place, not saying a thing for a while, but continues. "As I though. You...This isn't your real body, is it?"

The figure stayed silent.

"...There's no way a lump of mana like you can be the real body. Who's the one moving yo?" Blow asks. "What's the reason behind teleporting everyone? What's your goal. And why...Are you targeting Lidusis?'

Instead of responding, the figure attempts to flee. Seeing this, Rood brings his black coated blue, mana made strife down on it.

"The one controlling you...Who is it?" Blow continues.

"...Who knows? I have no reason to tell you." The figure said its final words as it vanished, only to reappear behind Blow. "But...You're...Strange. Are you really human?"

Blow turns back, meeting with the figure. "What...Do you mean?"

Blow never got a reply, instead, he was visited by a gash of black water, engulfing him along with the rest of the Iduns who were present. It left behind the blue magic stone that had been empowering the circle. The stone had been robbed of its mana, turning it a sorrowful grey.

Lapis laid on the ground. He found his strength to wake up, clutching his head as he moaned and groaned.

"Ah. My head." He glanced at his surrounding, which was occupied with opaque, black, trees and a red, crimson sky, making the environment dim. "Where...Is this? Then, remembering professor Rowell and the princess, Lapis gasped. He searched around for them, only realizing he was alone. He then hears a ruffling sound and finds a low class demon. It was crimson red like the sky with spikes carrying through its tail. Lapis panicked. With every inching step the demon took forward, Lapis took backwards. The demon increases its pace and chases Lapis down. Lapis now exhausted, decides to stop. To confront the demon. "Now! Come!"

The demon made no haste, running towards Lapis. But before it could tackle Lapis, the demon was knocked over and clatters into Lapis. Lapis topples to the ground.

"Nice, Cynthia!" Lain calls as he runs up to meet with Cynthia. "Was that the third one now? We've walked quite a bit but I don't see anyone else."

Lain looks down at the demon and finds Lapis on the ground. "La-Lapis!" Lain calls, but Lapis didn't answer. "Don't tell me. La...Lapis...I won't ever forget you." Lain closes his eyes, in a sorrowful format.

"...I'm not dead..." Lapis manages to utter.

The three found their way, walking to wherever. Neither of them knew the way. As they walked, they encountered dead bodies of demons with blue sprayed blood. There weren't just a couple. It looked like a massacre.

"What...Happened here?" Lapis questions.

"It must be the professor!" Lain gleamed. "The only one skilled enough to take care of so many demons... It has to be the professor! She must have passed by here without a doubt." Lain resumed walking, reassuring himself.

Blow sat on top of a demon's head, rummaging his bag for his magic orb.  He finds it and clutches it in his hand. It took him a while to get through, but the orb glows to life and  connects to Kiel.

"Oh! Rood!" Kiel said through the orb.

"Master!" Blow called.

"What's with that voice? Blow?!" Kiel questioned. "You awakened? Did something happen? What's wrong? I don't think you'd just awaken because you're bored...Did someone bully you?"

"Master! Could you tell me why I haven't been able to contact you for the past few days?" Indeed, Rood had tried once after the Chevel incident and at night when he'd encountered the figure. In both times, Rood failed.

"Huh? W-well...You see, we had a tiny problem." But in truth, Opion association was in shambles.

"...Anyway, it's not looking good over here."

"What? What happened?" Kiel questions.

"Well...You know the place Ishuella?" Blow asks.

"Ishuella? What about that cursed land?"

"I feel like that's where I am right now."

"R-really?"

"Yeah. First... The duchess, so as Helios, should be informed of this situation...To resolve this problem as quickly as possible." Rood crossed his arms, still sitting on the demon.

"Okay. We got it. We'll do everything we can from this side. So don't go overboard."

Blow didn't respond as he hears a rustling sound. Blow readied his strife. Emerging from the trees were not demons, but Lain, Lapis, and Cynthia. They all stared at Blow in awe.

"And take care of yourself, Roo-" Kiel still spoke from the orb.

"Ahahaha!" Blow laughed trying to cover up Kiel's voice. He stood up, clutching his bag over his shoulders. "Hello, students I've never seen before!" Blow laughed nervously. "From what I can tell, it looks like you're from Helios!" Rood was hoping Kiel understood what was going on.

Cynthia, Lapis, and Lain still stood in awe.

"Bla...Black magician!" Lapis called. "Bla-"

Lapis was cut off by lain's chanting. "Belita shackle." A purple swirl engrossed from Lain and towards Blow. Blue put up a shield that cracked and shattered the invading mana. Seeing this, Lain opened his mouth in shock. He was both starstruck and dumbstruck. "He's...Real..." A sparkly aura surrounded Lain. "The real...Black magician!" Lain repeated.

Blow had came up with all sorts of excuses. He played with the student's head. "...And so I received a top secret mission that I cannot reveal... And I ended up coming here to Ishuella."

"Ah! Is that so?!" Lain held his hands together and smiles. He was interested in whatever Blow said. "As expected of the Black Magician!"

Blow looked at the astonished student's, not sure what to do. "So...Why are you student's here?"

"Well. While we were preparing for a test...A strange man appeared. Then black water started pouring out of the teleportation circle. We were engulfed by the water and it seemed the water teleported us here.

Blow was planning on involving himself this way. "...This is something I cannot overlook as a magician, Allow me to help."

Lain pinched himself making sure it throbbed. "It hurts. This...Isn't a dream." Lain looked up at Blow. "I'm... Lain En Grium! Black Magician!" Lain was as excited as a baby. He had always adored the Black Magician, and now he was finally getting to meet him.

"I'm...No. My name is Lapis Van Siph. Y-You can just call me Lapis if you'd like..."

"...Cynthia Mars...Is my name." Cynthia spoke in a shy manner.

After the introduction they stared st Blow in an utmost way. Nothing was said. Blow decided to go along with them.

"...Opion's magician. My name is Blow..." Blow was surprised at the fact that the students had time to do all this without taking second thought about their location.

Lain moved closer to Blow, smiling. "Ma-May I call you Blow?" Lain asked eagerly.

"Well...If you'd like..." Blow left Lain with a satisfied smile. "...Mr. Lain. That ring is a magic stone, correct?"

"Yes!" Lain answered.

"...As you can see, there are demons here in Ishuella."

"Yes!"

"Always remain cautious since we don't know what might happen."

"Yes!"

"Do you have enough mana in your magic stone?"

"Yes!"

"...You're not listening to me, are you?"

"Yes!"

Lapis gave Lain a smack and pushes him so he now had Blow's attention. "I apologize, B-Blow. He's usually not like this."

Blow pushed it aside and offered his hand to Lain. "Give it to me. Your magic stone."

Lain gently laid both his his hands on Blow's with a laud look.

"...No...Just the ring..."

Lain took off his ring slowly as Blow had spoke of and laid it in his hands. He stepped back, clutching his hands and giving Blow his best smile.

With his other hand, Blow covered the ring and recharges it. He did the same to Cynthia's staff and leaves Lapis out.

"...I've fully recharged them. So they should last for a while." Blow slung his hood over his head. "Although...For now, you should get away from here." Blow's eyes gleamed a luminous blue. "This one is a big one."

A mid ranked demon emerged from the earth. It was blue and on its head was ice. IT opened its mouth wide, shattering the ice that sat on its head. Blow raised his strife, getting ready to strike. The demon tumbled over, due to an impact from behind. The demon was coated with ice, rupturing as a result. From the split space, Blow could identify professor Rowell.
