I ate dinner immediately after we got back from the Capitol City. Leopold went to report to Captain, and Keiko went to write to her family. I sat alone, although there were a few other people at a different table. They were just playing around with their magic in their hands. I looked at my palm, but decided it was too risky to try Air Magic inside.

   "You're not going to try?" Leopold asked, coming to sit next to me. He held out his hand and a small fire appeared. It danced across his fingertips.

   "I don't thing Air Magic would be good inside," I admitted. Leopold made a sound of agreement as he started eating. I looked down at my soup, my appetite suddenly gone.

   "You need to eat," Leopold said. "You're friend Nozomi was very worried."

   "She's just acting like the mother for me and Nanami," I said, eating a small spoonful of soup. "Yeah, she might be worried, but I can take care of myself."

"It's better for someone to be overprotective," Leopold said, poking at his meat. "My older siblings just want me to be powerful for the noble house of Vermillion."

"I️'m not a noble nor royalty," I️ said. "At least you have-"

"Both of you quit complaining," Keiko exclaimed, glaring at us. I️ hadn't even seen her sit with us since I️ was complaining to Leopold. "I've had just about enough of you! Both of you have different obsticales in your way. You've just gotta find your own way of getting over them. Now eat!" Keiko stabbed her chicken and started eating. A smiled crept along my face as I finished my soup.

The three of us decided to go outside for a little magic practice before bed. As always, Keiko and I️ tried taking Leopold down but lost. His fire was just too strong. Keiko's flames disappeared when they made contact with Leopold's fire.

"Come on, guys!" Leopold exclaimed, surrounding himself with fire. "You've gotta do better than that!"

"Fine!" I️ shouted. "Take this!" I️ made a huge gust of wind go towards him. Leopold's fire flickered a little, but that just made him smirk.

   "Good!" he shouted. "More! Come at me so more!"

   "I️ dont have much magic power left," Keiko whispered to me, clenching her teeth. "We need to try and do one last attack. Buy me some time, Shoji!" I️ nodded and ran towards Leopold.

"Oo!" Leopold exclaimed when I tried punching him. "So hand to hand combat now?" I attack and dodged, trying to buy time for Keiko's spell. I could already feel the heat from her body as she concentrated. Leopold noticed her concentrating and grinned. "Very well, Shoji. Fire Arrows!!" Arrows shot towards me, but I dodged them all. Leopold passed me, but I made a gust of wind block his path. I charged at him, but he seemed to already know what I was going to do. He pounced on me and we fell to the ground. Keiko's spell disappeared and my face started to turn red when Leopold didn't get off me.

"Ooh~" Keiko exclaimed. "Love on the-"

"Shut up, Keiko!" I shouted, pushing Leopold off me and making a gust of air appear under me. I went to the place I felt most at peace; the sky. Flying all the way up to a cloud, I landed on it with my Wind Magic holding the cloud together. Curling up, I hid my face in my knees. "Stupid Keiko. I don't even know anymore."

I must've fallen asleep because when I woke up, a fireball popped next to my cloud. Sitting up and stretching, I looked down. I saw Crimson Lion's hideout and Keiko and Leopold. They were staring up at the cloud I was on. Suddenly both of them shot a ball of fire/flames up at me. The cloud I was on disappeared, but my wind still supported me.

"SHOJI!!!" Keiko screamed up. "WTF DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?!?!?!?!?"

"Oh great," I muttered, standing. "I didn't even get to think about anything." I floated down and landed on the ground. I wobbled a little, but Leopold stabilized me.

"What the hell were you doing up there for two hours!?" Leopold asked, a fire aura starting to become visible around him. "Do you have any idea how worried I was!?"

"Calm down, Leopold," Keiko tried to calm him down, but the aura wasn't going to go down anytime soon.

"Tsk," Leopold exclaimed, turning around and walking away. I glanced at Keiko who nodded her head towards the hideout. Sighing, I followed Leopold. Keiko stayed out, practicing her magic a little more.

"Leopold!" I called. "Leopold, stop!" I grabbed his arm, panting. "Why are you so upset?"

"I was worried!" Leopold exclaimed, turning around and hugging me. "You've been acting strangely."

"What do you mean?" I asked, sighing. "It's been less than 48 hours since I first-"

"Another thing," Leopold said, hugging me tighter. "You and I have met before." My eyes widened as I slowly looked at Leopold's face.

"Wh... what?" I asked softly and slowly.
