March around the time when firefly dandelion fluffs float around. Once a year, all around, all the 15-year-olds are gathered to hold an awarding ceremony for grimoires. These grimoires increase their magical powers.

People entered the tower with excitement for this, including King, Yuno, Asta, and Kouki. Kouki was walking when he heard a group of guys catcalling him. He stopped and glared at them, his face turning red with anger.

Kouki: What do you think you're doing? I'm a boy, not a girl!"

The guys looked taken aback and all cringe. King snickers a bit, which makes Kouki blush in embarassment.

Old Wizard?: "WELCOME TO GRIMOIRE TOWER ACCEPTIES!"

Suddenly an old wizard, known as the Master of Grimoire tower appeared with a magic item that acted like a floating microphone as he spoke to the 15 year olds.

Master of GT: ON THIS MOMENTOUS OCCASION, YOU WILL TAKE YOUR FIRST STPES DOWN A NEW PATH! I WISH YOU INTEGRITY! HOPE! AND LOVE! For those who don't know I am the master of this Grimoire Tower. Now! Not a single person from this region has distinguished him or herself by becoming a Magic Knight, much less the Wizard King! I pray that one of have what it takes to become one of the most powerful mages in the land.... SERIOUSLY! I MEAN IT!

Everyone: "..........."

Kouki: (Thoughts) It's time!

As soon as the Grimoire Tower Master said that, the books on the shelves were surrounded in different colored auras as they flew off of the shelves and into the air, floating there as they showed themselves off, before one by one, they made their way to their owners who held out their hands, causing the Grimoires to float into them.

Random Girl: Finally, my Grimoire!

Random Guy 1: Check it out, mines bigger than yours!

Random Guy 2: Yeah maybe, but mine's thicker!

Random Guy 3: Here it is! My one way ticket out of this little village!

Random Guy 4: "I can carry on the family Business!!

Random Guy 5: This is my Grimoire? Seriously?

Random Guy 6: Why's mine so tiny!?

This was interrupted when two people waited for their grimoires to come.

Asta: Hey uhhh...

Everyone turned towards Asta and Kouki who held their arms out, with no Grimoires going anywhere near them.

Kouki: Where are our Grimoires?

Master of GT: Uhhhh.... Try again next year?

Kouki: (Jaw drops)

Asta: WHAAAAAAAATTT!!!!

Random Guy: "Heh!"

Suddenly everyone started to loudly laugh at the two of them with their Grimoires at their sides.

Random Guy: WOW! THAT'S ACTUALLY KIND OF AWESOME!

Random Guy: THAT'S TOO FUNNY!

Random Guy: WHAT DID WE EXPECT! OF COURSE THE ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY WHO CAN'T USE MAGIC DON'T GET GRIMOIRES!

People continued to laugh at the two, but it stopped when a bright light shined and two incredibly powerful grimoires came towards King and Yuno.

Four Leaf.. Clover?! And that's the.. Draconic grimoire!!

"The first wizard King also received one. It's supposedly has great power. That grimoire has good luck within it, right?!"

"He got that grimoire? And the draconic grimoire? That's the grimoire of the first rival of the first Wizard King!!"

Yuno:I'll become.. The wizard King. 

King: And I will create the next great nation.

People just stood there and shocked over King and Yuno's declaration. They then erupted into cheers of excitement and awe.

Arulu: You're so cool, Yuno! 

Nash: King, you're the man! 

"He's the Ray of Hope of this region!" 

"I want to be a part of King's Nation!" 

"They're amazing!" 

Bully 1:But they're just Petty orphans! 

Bully 2: This has got to be a mistake!

Asta/Kouki: Yuno! Brother!  Just you wait. We'll catch up soon enough. After all.. we're your Rivals! 

Silence came after that remark only to be replaced by Sounds of laughter at the two best friends. 

"Big talk from the two who didn't receive grimoires!" 

"You their rivals?" 

"Talk about clueless!" 

Yuno: (Walks past them) There's no way! 

King: (Walks past them) Give it up brother.

Asta and Kouki stood there over what they said, they were unable to move from it. Kouki had tears in his eyes and soon bolted off, with Asta reaching out for him, but letting him go. Lily looked at the two in concern.

Lily: (Thoughts) Asta, Kouki, are they okay? 

Orsi: (Rushing off with the kids) All right! Let's head home and prepare a feast!

Kouki was sitting in the field in deep thought.

Kouki: (Thoughts) I can't control my magic for even a second and yet the one chance that I have to is gone. Brother's right, I'm so-

King: Gah!!

Kouki: (Perks up) King?!

Kouki gets and rushes to the scene and sees the scene, when he arrived, he saw King being attacked by a flamboyant mage with electricity magic.

Mage: (Strikes a Pose, while holding on to King's grimoire) So you have the Dragon one more? Fabulous! I believe I'll hold on to it, for sick keeping.

Kouki: "King! Hey, get away from my brother! 

King: Kouki?

Mage: Are you talking to me peasant!? 

Kouki:  Yea, now drop the grimoire and get away from my brother. 

Mage: Hmmm, I sense great magic with you, but you can't control it, can you? 

Kouki: I won't need magic to take down the likes of you!! Rahhh!!

Mage: (Strikes Pose) Thunder Magic: Lightning rain!!

Kouki leapt out of the way of the mage's lightning rain, his body twisting and turning in the air with incredible agility. He narrowly avoided the bolts of lightning, but one of them grazed his shoulder, sending him flying into a nearby rock. He groaned in pain and tried to get up, but the Mage put his foot to Kouki's throat.

Kouki lay on the ground, the flamboyant mage's foot pressing down on his throat. The mage sneered.

Mage: You can't even control your own magic. Pathetic. I cannot even believe that you two are even related! You're nothing.

Kouki: He's right, I can't control my magic, because I'm no-

King: Kouki!! 

Kouki looked at King who was still on the ground paralyzed by the lighting magic.

Kouki: King?

Kouki, you're not allowed to give up," said King, Kouki's brother. You want to know why? Because you're my brother!!

Kouki felt a surge of determination and he pushed the mage's foot away. He stood up and faced the mage, his eyes blazing with determination.

"You won't get away with this," Kouki said. "I won't let you."

The mage laughed. "You think you can beat me? You're nothing but a weakling."

Kouki smiled. "Maybe I am weak, but I don't care! This isn't OVER!!!

Kouki's eyes widened as a brilliant white light surrounded him. Suddenly, a mysterious Grimoire with a glowing halo descended from the sky and hovered in front of him. He could feel the immense power emanating from the book, and he knew that his destiny was about to change. He reached out and touched the Grimoire, and a surge of energy coursed through his body. He was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Kouki: My very own grimoire?!

King: Like you would never get one!

Mage: This magic!! It's so intense!!! What king of magic is this?!!

Kouki: RAAAAHHHHH!!!

Kouki's eyes turn bright and he reels back his fist-

(Goku is Kouki)

The mage goes flying, until he crashes through multiple trees and hits the ground, unconscious. Kouki looks at the fallen Mage, before smiling widely.

Kouki: I-I did it! I controlled my magic! Oh, King!

Kouki looks and sees King walking over to him, with his grimoire in his hand.

King: Not bad, brother!!

Kouki: Holds up his grimoire. I finally got a grimoire!! It's even got a halo!

King: Don't think just because you got your grimoire, doesn't mean you're going to surpass me I will create the greatest nation. 

Kouki: We'll see about that. 

Both brothers fist bump, as their rivalry and Brotherhood have just been sparked.
