(Kouki walked back into the crowd with everyone in awe over what they just saw. Asta gave Kouki a pat on the back over what he just saw.)

Inside of the arena King stood there while the Nobel he was fighting prepared a spell.

Nobelchild: Molten Creation Magic: Magma Man!"

The nobel said as he threw his hands forwards, summoning a mass of magma, creating a giant molten golem with giant fists.

Nobelchild: "Try and take down my Magma Man! He's got armor plates made out of unbreakable cooled magma! I'd give up now before he melts you into mush! I'll give you 3 seconds to cry uncle!"

The nobel said as Magma man raised his fist ready to slam it into King, but the silver haired boy only sighed as his Grimoire floated next to him. It flipped through pages, before King drew his Masamune with a bored expression.

King: "This magic isn't even close to master's power...
Nova Magic: Solar Cloak...."

Nobelchild: "ONE!... TWO!..."

*Ting!*

Nobelchild: "THREE! CRUSH HIM MAGMA MAN!"

The nobel order his magma golem... but it only stood there.

Nobelchild: "What are you waiting for!? Crush hi-"

Magma Man: "Ggggrrr-Bbbssshhh-"

*THUD!*

Nobelchild: "H-Huh!? Wha-What!?"

Suddenly, Magma Man cooled before he crumbled as it died and hit the ground as nothing but rocks. The nobel was extremely confused until he saw King

Nobelchild: "W-What did you do to my Magma Man!?"

King: "*Sigh* Isn't it obvious? I used my magic, and sliced the string of magic that connected you to it."

Nobelchild: "S-String of magic?"

King: "You don't even know how your magic works, do you? Using and creating Golems like that creates a thin string of magic that let's you control it, like a puppet. Sever that string, and the puppet dies. Now, you're wasting everyone's time. I'm ending this."

Nobelchild: "Oh no you don't! Molten Creation Magic: Obsidian Wall!"

The nobel said as he created a wall made of shiny black stone, but King only let out a heavy and bored sigh as he lifted his hands.

King: "Dragon Magic: Solar Cloak..."

*Ting!*

*Ssssshhhhhh-Clink*

Suddenly in the blink of an eye, King had appeared behind the nobel, calmly as his Grimoire closed, loosing it's golden aura.

King: "Dragon flare."

*SSSSHHHHIIIIIIIIINNNNGGG!*

Nobelchild: "G-Gahhh!"

*THUD!*

(After King announced his attack, the Black wall was sliced down the middle, as the nobel fell unconscious, hitting the ground face first. Everyone stood amazed by King's display of power as he walked over to the watching area waiting for the next fight. Asta and Kouki stared with stars for eyes in amazement and shock at the overwhelming power that was King.)

(A mass of tesnity arose in the arena as the selection quickly began. In the beginning, no hands were raised until it reached number 71, picked by the Purple Orcas. Next was 78 for the Crimson Lion Kings. Soon King stepped forwards. It seemed like he was perfectly calm, but Kouki knew that King had to be slightly nervous... after a few seconds of silence, nobody raised their hand, when suddenly a single hand was raised, that hand belonged to William Vangance, the Captain of the Golden Dawn. People were amazed by this as they King quickly accepted the offer, now part of the greatest knights squad.After that, time quickly passed with little offers, until it was Yuno's turn. His number was called as soon after he stepped forwards, the hands of every single Magic Knight Captain was raised. Obviously the boy chose the best squad, possible being the second and only person in the Exams to join the Golden Dawn. After that, it was Asta's turn.)

Exam Wizard: "Next! Number 1124!

(The exam wizard said as Y/N pat Asta in the back, pushing him forwards with a smile on his face.)

Kouki (Thoughts:) Good luck Asta! Not like he needs it. I mean, having magic knight who can cut through magic can really help on missions.

(Asta then walked forwards, and waited for one of the captains to raise their hands... only for none to be raised... Y/N was somewhat shocked by this, thinking to himself that if Asta got picked... that he definitely had a chance, but now that the white haired boy stood there with nobody raising their hands... Y/N's seemingly everlasting optimism was slowly fading, that same hope was also fading inside of Asta, as he stood there gripping his fist in saddened rage, until...)

Yami: "It's not a big surprise is it?

Yami: "No matter how great your skill in battle might be nobody will touch a power that mysterious, these guys aren't very fond of the unknown. It boils down to this, what the Captains are looking for is Magic Power, that's simple."

(Suddenly Yami began unleashing his magic aura, causing a massive rumble and pressure that shook the whole arena. The captain then jumped down from the stands and approached Asta with a sinister glare in his eyes.)

Yami: What would anyone ever want with you? A kid with zero magic? You might aswell face the facts, what did you say before? That you wanted to become Wizard King? You know what that means right? That you're gonna have to prove that you're better than all 9 Magic Knight Captains. And now standing here magicless and pathetic, can you really say you have what it takes? That you're strong enough to be the Wizard King?

(Yami asked Asta, causing him to tremble at Yami's overbearing magic that pressured the magicless boy, he gripped his fist and tried to speak... but no words would come out of his mouth. The boy tried his best... but something deep deep down was holding him back.)

Kouki: (Growling and Steps forward) OF COURSE HE CAN!

Yami: Huh?

Kouki glared at Yami while standing next to Asta, placing his hand on the magicless boy's shoulder with a smile still on his face, but his appearance only made Yami glare at the boy and unleash more magic pressure... but Kouki was unfazed by it.

Yami: "And what makes you think he has a chance? And didn't you say you wanted to become the Wizard King too? You're just as Magicless as him without that grimoire of yours and a dead man without that ball, you know that nobody's gonna pick you either."

Kouki: "Yeah, I know. I'm a waste of magic power, a useless deadman without his grimoire, but! I don't care what anyone says about me! Because as long as someone believes in you, anyone can do anything! And I believe in Asta! He's gone through this whole exam failing every test except for the combat! But he didn't walk away! He kept on going! And now he's here! And so am I!"

(Asta stared up at Kouki with awe as he smiled face to face with the man known as the God of Destruction, ready to crush him, and still smiling, defending him. Seeing that caused Asta to smile as well as his Grimoire appeared, summoning as massive rusty sword point it at Yami as well so that the two of them mirrored each other with smiles on both of their faces.)

Asta: "Kouki's right. We may not become Magic Knights today, but that's not gonna stop us!"

Asta & Kouki: "It doesn't matter who calls us what! We won't give up!

Asta: "With or without magic-"

Kouki: "Whether I can control my magic or not-"

Kouki/Asta: I WILL MAKE MY OWN KINGDOM! /I WILL BECOME THE WIZARD KING!"

The two of them yelled at the Captain, as his power slowly faded, but his intense glare remained. Asta was visible still shaken by the energy, and Kouki's left arm had began to twitch in fear... but the two still stood their ground infront of the one of the 9 strongest wizards in the Cover Kingdom.

Yami: "..... Hehehe! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! Y'know what! I like you kids! From the way you act Shorty, to the way you fight girly! Come and join our crew."

Asta & Kouki: "...... Wha?"

Kouki: Girly!

Everyone began to gossip amongst themselves at this while the two massive sword wielders were confused.

Yami: "Quit gapin like a fish, I said I'd let you two join the Black Bulls."

Kouki and Asta stood in slight amazement... but that was quickly killed.

Yami: "By The Way You Don't Get To Say No, Got It?"

Asta: "wwwwhhhhaaatttt??"

Kouki: "Haha! Not like I was gonna!"

Yami: "And it won't be a picnic, we'll put you thought the ringer till you don't recognize yourself anyone. So get ready."

Kouki: "ALRIGHT!"

Asta: "WWWHHHAAATTT!!?!?!?!"

Yami: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

(Kouki and King were both in an alley where they both looked at each other.)

King: I can't believe you actually made it.

Kouki: You're surprised?

King: (Smirks) You know it's just going to get harder from here.

Kouki: Let it. I will prevail.

(Kouki walks away while King smiles at his brother.)

Kouki: "GAHA!"

Yami: "You've gotta lot of nerve makin me wait like that, Girly."

Kouki: "I'M SORRY CAPTAIN! I WAS SAYING GOODBYE TO MY BIG BROTHER AND I'M A BOY!"

Yami: "That sounds like a serious personal problem!"

(Kouki had returned to where Yami, Asta, Final and Gordon were, only to get his head grabbed and slowly crushed by his captain once again.)

Yami: "Go on Finral."

Finral: "Ok."

Finral replied as his Grimoire flipped open, causing a portal to appear infront of him.

Asta: "Woah! That's so cool!"

Kouki: "Wow! Spacial Magic is awes- OWOWOWOW! CAPTAIN YAMI PLEASE STOP CRUSHING MY SKULL!"

Yami: "Obviously you two can't fly on brooms, so you've gotta learn some sort of movement spell to get around. Oh wait! One of you can't use magic, huh? HAHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

Finral: "Uh, Captain Yami? This is a pretty sizable Gate to keep open, can you hurry up please?"

Yami: "It only sounds like you're telling me what to do! Suck it up! Dig deep and Push Past Your Limits!"

Yami glared at Finral causing him to keep quiet as he grabbed Asta by his head aswell.

Yami: "In ya go!"

Yami said before he quickly threw the two newbies into the portal.

*FWOOSH!*

Asta & Kouki: "WWWAAAAAAA-!!"

《Black Bulls Hideout》

Asta & Kouki: "-AAAAAAHHHH-"

*THUD!*

The two flew through the portal before they came out the other side, hitting the ground as the others walked through. Asta and Kouki then took their heads out of the dirt, and looked up, only to see the massive mess of a building that was the Black Bulls Hideout.

Asta: "Woah the Black Bull's Hideout!"

Yami: "Pretty cool, huh? We've gotta snazzy place."

Kouki: "... Isn't it kinda Janky?"

Finral: "Crumbling Bricks and all!"

Asta: "And as of today it's our place too."

Kouki: "YEAH!"

Asta then charged forwards the opened the door, quickly introducing himself.

Asta: "I'm one of the newest members of this Squad! Fresh from Hage Village! I'm Ast-"

*BOOOOM!*

Asta: "-AAAAAHHHHHH!!"

*THUD!*

Suddenly a mass of fire exploded out of the front door, sending Asta flying as he crashed into the ground face first. Kouki stared with shock as the other Black Bulls were not phased by this whatsoever.

Yami: "This is us Kiddos. The worst of the worst Magic Knight Squads,
Welcome to The Black Bulls."
