your POV

the Dog and his Butler were going to London today. i had got dressed into a pale blue dress with a small, pale blue cloak. they both had white frilled lace along the edges, i wore white, heeled boots with grey buttons and had let my short hair flow free.

and then they refused to allow me to go!

"I'm going, move." i said, sternly as i pushed Ciel to the side and climbed into the carriage.

"Sebastian! this is an order, lock her inside my mansion and see that she doesn't try to get out."

"I'm. not. staying." i growled, gripping the seat with my gloved hands.

"I'm afraid i must disagree. you see miss, the masters orders are absolute. which means you shall stay whether it is your wish or not." the butler lifted me over his shoulder and carried me to the games room and tied me to the pool table with a gag and locked the door on his way out.

i sat on the floor growling angrily for a whole 30 minutes before it occurred to me to at least try to leave. so, i used all of my strength to try and lift this side of the table and slide the rope underneath, unhooking my arms, so that i could at least walk around the room. i then swung my arms over my head and lifted my hands to remove the gag. i gasped and shook my head a bit for a reason i cant quite explain before trying to untie the rope around my hands with my teeth.

Ciels POV

we arrived in London while successfully abandoning the burden. i respect her majesty's wishes, its just.. well.. why on Earth would she have someone assist me? does she not think i am capable? or perhaps that i am untrustworthy?

i frowned as we continued our journey along the twisting pavements of London, the unforgiving stench of horse dung filling my nostrils.

and why a cat of all possible people? i realise that it is simply a nickname -as is my Gaurddog name- but it must be that specific species for a reason. and so why would she pair us? The Cat and The Dog.

"is something the matter, Young Master?" i heard Sebastian ask.

"no, and even if it was, why would you assume i would tell you -a being that is not even human?"

"you just seemed as if something was bothering you, Lord. i had no intention or impression that you would speak of it to me. as you quite rightly stated; i am not human. i possess no understanding of human emotions nor human problems." he bowed to me as we walked

"no need to start a speech on it." i muttered, glaring behind me at my butler.

"my apologies."

we arrived at the crime scene.

"blasted Dog." Sir Arthur grumbled as we approached.

"good day Sir Arthur. i have been sent on official royal duty to handle this case."

"Scotland Yard have it covered." he growled, proudly.

"are you certain?" i questioned, tilting my head.

"of course I'm cer--" he only got halfway through his sentence before Sebastian snatched the case files and handed them to me.

"h-hey! what do you think youre doing?!" Arthur yelled.

"oh dear. this is unfortunate. so it would seem that Scotland Yard has found no major clues yet. how unfortunate. it seems that i shall be forced to take lead of this investigation."

"now wait just a second!"

"Sebastian, lets go."

your POV

"ouch!" stupid dress had gotten stuck! goddamnit! i tore off the piece of fabric that had gotten caught on the glass of the broken window and slid down the tiles before coming to a stop on the flat bit of roofing that covered the window above Phantomhive's study.

well, at least its safe to say that Ciel even cares about his roof enough to have his butler clean that as well as the rest.

"ummmm, how am i going to do this?" i asked myself nervously looking over the edge. this is a lot higher than the majority of roofs i have climbed down from. however, i was confident that i would manage! somehow at least. i just need to get to London successfully and locate the Dog. that's 2 objectives with plenty of time to spare. i took a deep breath with my eyes closed, "lets do this." i said, opening my eyes with a new determination blossoming in my stone-cold heart.
