Backstory:

Katherine lived on the Isle for her entire life when King Beast decided everyone in Wonderland belonged on the Isle. Before joining Uma's Crew, Kat used to hang around her other Wonderland friends, Maddie Hatter and Regina Hearts. However, when she joined Uma's Crew, she started to drift away from them.

Then, she was invited to Auradon and her curiosity got the best of her. Seen and branded as a Traitor by Uma, Kat became miserable. Auradon wasn't her home, and she missed her friends and family on the Isle. When Mal has enough, Kat goes back with her. Kat rejoins the Crew and helps them kidnap Ben.

During movie three, Kat helps Harry and Gil escape and in turn helps Mal and the VKs stop Audrey. In the end, the Isle and Auradon are connected.
