Chapter 26

this one is more of a filler chapter ouo

"Yo, Jiminnie~"

"..."

"I made waffles for breakfast, is that okay?"

"..."

"What's wrong, baby?"

"My fuckin' ass hurts!"

"Tsk tsk, don't swear Jiminnie." Jungkook pulled up the tray of food on his own lap, sitting down on the side of the bed. Jimin wasn't facing him, instead curled right up in his blankets. Yoongi was out buying groceries, and Jungkook still didn't attend his school. It was Yoongi who kept forcing him to stay, really. But he still kept getting the notes that man his mother paid to be at class, so he wasn't left behind.

"Shut up." Jimin grumbled.

"I made you breakfast, you'd better get up and eat before it's cold." He teased.

"I-I can't!" He turned himself around, staring at Jungkook with watery eyes and a pouty lip. "It really hurts..."

Jungkook couldn't help but let out a little, "Aw! I'm sorry; I shouldn't have gone that rough on you since it was your first time in a while." He put the tray on the bed carefully, and then walked around to face Jimin. He brushed Jimin's bangs from his face, "You did look like you enjoyed it, though."

Jimin lowered his gaze and his face turned red. "N-No..." Such a little cute liar. He helped Jimin sit up in bed and put the tray on his lap, helping him eat his food. Jimin didn't seem to mind too much, but he probably felt really humiliated.

"I love you." He randomly said. Jimin looked at Jungkook then quickly averted his gaze to the food, pretending like what he said didn't affect him.

"I-I... Me too." He scratched his chin nervously. He couldn't believe he actually said that. "K-Kookie, what do you think of me...? I mean- you- do you like me?"

Jungkook swallowed, lowering the fork on the plate. "I-I did have a crush on you when you first came here... I dunno, it felt so weird. I kind of got jealous because I thought that you liked Yoongi more than me even though you have every right to..." He paused, looking at Jimin to see if he would make any reaction. Jimin lowered his gaze in shame, and Kookie sneered bitterly. Jimin noticed this and shook his head.

"N-No Jungkook, I thought you were pretty hot myself-" He gasped and slapped his hands against his mouth. Jungkook quirked a smirk, leaning in slightly.

"You think I'm hot?"

"Wh-Who doesn't?!" He crossed his arms, clearing his throat.

"You're making me want to take you down and pound you again."

Jimin blushed and waved his hands, "No no no! Anymore any time soon and I won't be able to walk forever!" Jungkook laughed and continued to help Jimin with his food. He put the dishes out when he was done, then helped Jimin lay back down because he wanted to rest some more. He rubbed at Jimin's hips, attempting to massage the strained muscles. Jimin flinched at the contact at first, but after feeling some of the knots disappear slowly, he let out little relaxed noises while peaceful under his touches.

"Wow, I'm sorry Jiminnie, I didn't realize I hurt you this much." He was really getting into massaging his boyfriend's waist, watching the boy roll onto his stomach, enjoying the feeling. Jimin didn't reply, as he was already too much in pleasure once again. Soon enough, Jungkook could hear very soft breathing. Fuck, he was so cute. He continued to massage until he felt his palms become uncomfortable, then quickly but silently hopped off and snatched his phone. When he came back he sat down on the floor where Jimin was, and puckered his lips out as he took a picture with him and Jimin.

He then sent it to Yoongi, feeling really giddy about it.

Yoongi: kookie what is this

Kookie: jiminnie is asleep bc I have wonderful massaging skills

Yoongi: you mean you massaged on top of his ass

Kookie: yes ;) maybe I should become a massage therapist for asses

Yoongi: do that and you're gonna have dead customers

Yoongi: a what?

No reply.

Kookie: ok f i n e

He closed his phone and sighed. He looked back at Jimin, shrugging. "Why not." He put the phone on the table stand then shuffled under the blankets, wrapping an arm over Jimin's body as he snuggled in behind his back, closing his eyes.

"This is my number. So now we can text!" Jungkook grinned, giving back Jimin's phone. The pink haired boy looked down at the screen, obviously a bit confused and even eager. "I even put Yoongi's number in there, too." He nodded. Jimin put the phone back on the table and looked down with a smile.

"T-Thank you, Kookie."

"No problem you cute little midget." Jimin's eyes snapped to Jungkook and the boy let out a laugh.

"I'm not a midget!" His jaw clenched and Jungkook only burst out laughing some more. Jimin punched his arm and he released a little yelp because it hurt more than he'd thought.

"Ok ok you're not a midget!" He looked around, "You're a hobbit."

Jimin lifted up his hand to slap him in the face, Jungkook placing his arms in front of his head, but they both heard the door open and they froze in their actions, both looking at the doorway with a gasp. Yoongi was now closing the door, completely unaware of the scene they were folding. The two looked at each other, and then Jimin lowered his hand as Jungkook pretended he was on his phone. Jimin pretended his fingernails were interesting, waiting for the black haired boy to notice their presence.

"Hey Yoongi."

He let out a little raspy grunt, bringing the groceries to the kitchen table. Jungkook jumped off his chair and went to help him put away the things he'd bought. Jimin, unable to really move, stayed there and watched them do their thing. As they were talking, Jimin looked out the window. He wondered, if, just if, this could work. He wondered... If he could leave his old life behind. If he could restart.

But then Jin came to mind, and the peer pressure of all the things he'd done in the past.

He breathed, trying to calm himself down. He looked at Jungkook, then at Yoongi. Yoongi noticed his stare, and looked back with curious eyes. He didn't turn away, nor did he say anything. His pale skin glossed under the sunlight, making him remind himself of the past and how his sweet, sweet Yoongi from high school was still here, right in front of him. The pink haired boy felt at ease under his gaze.

He was still okay. He still had something that made him feel happy.

"Hey, Jungkook?"

"Mhm?"

Jimin glanced at Yoongi, who was looking up something on his laptop. It was probably something about his research, or something. "Can you bring me to my room, please? I want to... I want to show you something." Jungkook nodded, interested about what he wanted to show. He lifted the boy up bridal style, carrying him to his room.

When he got in, he placed Jimin down at the edge of his bed. Jimin looked at his cabinet, and then pointed. "Can you grab my journal, please?" Jungkook's eyes widened, as if disbelieving the words that came out of his mouth. But he obliged anyway, slowly bringing his diary to the boy. He handed it to him, but Jimin shook his head and patted the bed, signaling for Kookie to sit beside him. The boy cooperated, holding the diary awkwardly in his hands.

It took a while. Jimin was playing with his hands, staring at his lap as he chewed his lip. Jungkook wondered what Jimin was thinking. But finally with an inhale, he looked up at Jungkook with shaky eyes. "I-I want you to read the first few pages of my diary."

Jungkook didn't know what to say. All of this was so sudden. He just remained quiet, glancing down at the book. Ever since Jimin had mentioned the journal, it became almost like a sacred object to him. He didn't dare touch it or read it, or else he felt like he was intruding in somebody else's life. But now, Jimin wanted him to read it? This... He didn't know how to handle this.

"Listen, I've thought about it. You don't know much about me, unlike Yoongi, but you're still so nice to me... You became somebody special to me. So... So I want you to know my vulnerable side. At least, some of it. I want you to know who I was. Yoongi saw it, too. It's your turn."

"Jimin..." Jungkook had never felt so touched before. He was speechless. This was a beautiful moment; Jimin was opening up to him. He looked down at the book, touching at the end of the cover, hesitant to open it. Jimin put a hand over Jungkook's, making him open the front.

After reading some of these, Jungkook felt really emotional. He rubbed his eyes a few times, especially during the rants with Jimin's parents. Jimin told him that Yoongi told him that having an empty ruined room wasn't something normal for a kid, and he was really angry. Jimin was a skittish kid, so at the time he thought Yoongi was really scary. Kookie laughed, telling Jimin he thought the exact same thing when he saw Yoongi.

After the little laugh, they soon talked about Jimin's parents. Jimin didn't feel too much about it other than being irritated and somewhat broken, but Jungkook was tearing up. Jimin assured Jungkook that it was okay now; however Kookie was shaking his head and wiping his tears. "P-Poor baby! I won't ever hurt you!" He cried and Jimin patted his back.

"My parents weren't the worst... But I know they weren't the best." He huffed. "What else did they do?" He clicked his tongue, "I know I mentioned they beat me up sometimes... Most of the time they threw things at me. I was an unwanted child. My mom..." He lowered his eyes, "I think she told me I was hers, but another man's kid. The man that 'raised' me with her was another person she married, but they were both very angry people."

After reading some more, Jimin closed the book for him. "That's all I wanted to show you so far." He wiped Jungkook's very manly tears, smiling as he did so. "Don't cry. It's over now." He reassured Kookie with words, but he only responded with a tight hug. Jimin froze – not exactly because of the slight pain from his hips, but because as much as they'd hugged him, he really wasn't used to hugs.

"You hug me so much... I like it." He smiled, slowly bringing his arms around Kookie's body.
