Strolling. That is what you were doing. Strolling through a garden. You didn't know who's garden it was, but it was someone's garden none the less. What was strange, it wasn't the fact that you were strolling through random peoples gardens no what was strange, was that someone with cat ears and a tail was strolling through random peoples gardens. Now. You could hide your ears in your hair, that wasn't too hard. It was the stupid tail.
Why are you strolling through random peoples garden? Simple. You had just escaped from a circus, which not many people actually went to see. Maybe if the people hosting the circus advertised, they would get somewhere in life. You sighed, frustrated. You left your favourite ball of yarn in a cage. You were about to walk towards a tree when you froze, hearing someone shouting. At first, you thought someone had found you. You thought wrong.

"PLUTO STOP!" You heard a voice. It sounded like a male, but quiet young. Before you could actually find out who this 'Pluto' was, you saw a huge hound running towards you. Your first instinct was to run, but you were slightly too late. The hounds jumped on you, and turned into a human? You were confused.

"Pluto! Get off the young Lady! That's rude!" A boy said. He had blonde hair with red hair clips at the front. He had bright green/blue eyes. To you they looked kind of... Teal. He seemed quite young, but not too young. The human? Dog? Got off you, looking down. The young boy helped you up, apologising.

"I'm sorry about Pluto, he gets excited when he meets new people. I'm Finnian, but you can call me Finny!" The boy said as he smiled a bright smile. He didn't seem to notice your tail yet.

"I'm [Y/N]. What is... He?" You tilted your head. Finny looked at Pluto, petting him.

"He's a demon hound. But he's very friendly. Aren't you Plu Plu?" Finny smiled. You decided, since there demon hound, you'd let him know what you were. You let your ears show, looking at Finny's shocked expression.

"I'm a Neko!" You smiled. You weren't ashamed of what you were, you loved it to be honest. Finny seemed slightly shocked. He was about to say something when you heard another voice calling him.

"Oh. I have to go. It's nice to meet you [Y/N] the Neko!" Finny waved as he ran into a manor which you didn't seem to notice until now. You looked back at the demon hound and noticed he was wearing a suit.

"We're you wearing that before?" You asked. He only barked.

"Can you speak?" You raised an eyebrow. He barked again.

"Can you at least nod?"

Bark. You sighed as you walked towards the free you were heading under in the first place. Once you got under the shade, you climbed up the tree, feeling quite happy that you could still climb trees. Being in a cage for 3 years did some awful things to you. You thought you'd never escape, but all the other caged 'acts', as the people called them, made a plan to break free, you didn't hesitate to join and help. You felt slightly sad, knowing you would never see any of the friends you made, but maybe this was for the best. Everyone went their own way, starting a new, better, life. You were interrupted from your thoughts when Pluto barked again. He was standing under the tree, smiling up at you. You decided you were going to go down, that's when you realised something. You might've remembered how to CLIMB trees, but you didn't exactly know how to get down from them. Pluto barked again.

"Sorry Plu Plu, it looks like I can't come down." You frowned at the demon hound. He seemed to understand what you were saying and turned into his hound form, standing under the branch you were on. You didn't hesitate to jump, landing on Pluto's back. You jumped off his back, onto the grass, landing on your feet. Pluto turned back into his human form, still wearing a suit.

"I will never understand how you keep that suit safe." You giggled to yourself. Pluto seemed to lighten up to your giggles as he barked along. You laid down on the grass, curling up, getting ready for a nice nap before you would be asked to leave the area. You were surprised when you felt something warm around you. You opened your eyes, looking behind you. You say it was Pluto, in his hound form again. He wrapped his tail around you, acting like some shield? And a blanket. You subconsciously purred slightly as you listened to his heartbeat. You looked up again and saw his eyes were closed. You snuggled into his chest, letting sleep take over.

"Should we wake them up?" You heard an unfamiliar male voice.

"The Young Master would be mad, yes he would." An unfamiliar female voice answered.

"He might like the idea of a maid that's also a cat!" The familiar voice added. Finny's?

"She would just distract Sebastian, and the Young Master is allergic to cats."

"Maybe we could just let them sleep until we are ordered to wake them up?"

You heard shuffling as the three people walked away. You didn't open your eyes as you moved slightly, falling back to sleep.
