The days went on and nothing was new with the Phantomhive team. They've searched and searched, but they couldn't find any other clues that could help with the puzzling cases. Ciel had too much on his shoulders as he tries to solve both mysteries and prepare for an upcoming ball that would be held at the manor. The servants and Sebastian were busy setting everything up for the party. As for Ciel and the twins, they were looking for what to wear at the party. 

"Are you sure that you want us to come, Ciel. I mean we aren't exactly....normal." Annabelle spoke out.

"I would like you two come to my party, it would be an honor to have you both, as my friends." Gabrielle and Annabelle were stunned at first, but a smile broke on their face. Happy that Ciel considers them as his friends. 

"Ciel would you mind if we brought a friend to the party?" Gabrielle asked.

"Depends, who is this friend of yours?" Ciel replied.
 

   Gabrielle explained that they wanted to invite their friend Daisy, who they met a found days ago. Ciel thought for a moment and agreed to let their friend come. As long she doesn't cause trouble.

   Time has past and time for the party to begin. Sebastian had help Ciel choose the proper tuxedo for the ball. Annabelle and Gabrielle were wearing beautiful sleeveless dress with their favorite color. (Gabrielle got blue and Annabelle got purple). Gabrielle had her hair up in a bun, while Annabelle had her hair down, wavy. What would make the ball more fun as a masquerade ball. People were arriving at the door, they were greeted by Ciel and the twins, as Sebastian led them in. Nearly everyone could recognize each other with the masks they had on. What they didn't know is that old enemies were there undetected. 

   Music was filling the ballroom as everyone was dancing to the rhythm of the music. The twins could see everyone in their mask and sometimes they would think it's attractive and mysterious with some boys asking them to dance. They did try to find Daisy, but it was rather difficult. With a few minutes of searching, they found her in a yellow dress with a a matching, unique mask. They had a few little chit chats as they were enjoying themselves. 

Annabelle felt a tap on her shoulder. She turns around and sees a masked figure holding out his hand shyly. "W-would you l-like to dance with me Annabelle?" 

"Finny? I almost didn't recognize you." She smiles.

"It's ok. So, would you like to dance?" Finny asks again."

   Annabelle smiled and took his hand. Finny smiles and leads her to the dance floor. Annabelle could see he was nervous, so she helps him out. She grabs his hand and placed it on her waist and she held his other hand, as she placed her other hand. They danced to the music, as they were lost into each other's eyes. 

   Daisy and Gabrielle were greeted by Bard and Mey-rin. They were having a small conversation until a snake slithers towards Gabrielle's foot. She was startled at first, but she soon realized it was Oscar. She carried Oscar and went to go find Snake. Gabrielle saw that Snake was at the corner of the ballroom with his snakes. She walks up to him and startled him a little.

"Are you looking for this little fella right here?" Gabrielle asks.

"Yes. thank you, Gabrielle." Snake replies as Oscar slithers towards him.

   This was the first time Gabrielle have ever heard Snake talking without his snakes. She simply smiles as Snake smiles back. 

"Do you want to dance with me, Snake?" Gabrielle asks.

"I..I-I don't know how." Snake was shuttering.

"That ok, I can teach you!" Gabrielle pulls Snake towards the dance floor. She places one of Snake's hand on her waist, while the other was holding her hand. Soon Snake started to follow in Gabrielle's foot steps. They soon placed each other's foreheads together as they danced to the rhythm of the music. 

   The music has stop and soon the twins and their 'dates' went to go talk to their friends. Soon Ciel went to meet the others was they began their conversation. "I hope the masquerade ball is entertaining for you all." Ciel spoke to the group. They all agreed and the twins introduced Daisy to Ciel. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ciel Phantomhive." Daisy said. "Please, the pleasure is all mine."

   The music stared again and soon everyone was dancing again. But, the music was not enough for Sebastian to stop. He could sense someone's presence in the manor, who isn't allow in. Sebastian began to leave the ballroom was search the manor. He went to investigate who was in the manor. 

   He went upstairs to where the presence is strong. Right from around the corner of the hall. Sebastian could see two figures, wearing white robes with white masks. He reached into his pockets and grabbed his forks and knives ready. 

"Look like we have a demon in this manor." A female voice spoke.
             

   The figures turned around and saw Sebastian. "It appears we do." The male voice said. Soon Sebastian threw his knives at them, but sadly missed. The male took out a sword, while the female took out a pistol.

   The battle began and Sebastian could see that these two are strong. "I'm afraid that you two aren't invited and you both must leave at once or turn yourselves in." Sebastian grinned. 

"You mean, because of these two?" The male took out another photo of the twins and their parents. "So you two must be responsible for their disappearance?" Sebastian spoke.

"Maybe we are, but we mustn't reveal anything else." The female said. She soon used her pistol to blasted a widow. Sebastian tried to stopped them, but they escaped. Sebastian grunts in defeat. 

   Soon everyone had to leave the ball. The twins said goodbye to Daisy as everyone was leaving. The manor was empty and it was time to rest. Before Annabelle could sleep, Finny gave her a rose from the garden. To show her token of gratitude, she gave Finny a kiss on the lips. Leaving Finny totally shock yet happy at the same time. As for Gabrielle, she and Snake were talking most of the time. Soon she had to head to her room to get some rest. Snake gave Gabrielle a bracelet he made. She thanks him by giving him a kiss. (What a twin does, the other does the same.)

"So they've escaped!" Ciel yells. 

"Yes sir, and they might be the ones who were responsible for the twins parents." Sebastian explained. 

"We must find them, so the twins could be safe and happy." Ciel said.

"I understand my lord, but those two, who I fought with seem familiar." 

"How familiar?" Ciel questioned 

"We might have meet them before." That was all Sebastian could say. Soon everyone was asleep. 

  Morning had come. Sebastian was preparing breakfast for Ciel as he was reading his newspaper. As Ciel was taking a sip of his tea, suddenly there was screaming coming from upstairs. 

"THAT'S THE TWINS!!!" Ciel screams 

   Both Ciel and Sebastian ran towards their room and see Finny and Snake at the entrance of their bedrooms. 

"NO KEEP AWAY FROM ME!!!" 

"STAY BACK I DON'T WANT TO HURT YOU!!"

   Ciel and Sebastian saw Gabrielle and Annabelle were at the corners of their room. Sebastian went to see Gabrielle first. On her shoulder, she had the symbol marked on her. Soon he went to see Annabelle and she had the symbol on her shoulder too. The twins began to cry, not knowing what to do. Ciel had no chose but to chain them to the handle of their beds.
