POV of Alyssa

I'm waiting my the statue my dress shimmering in the dim ball lights. Guests flock around but I'm watching for only one. I don't know what he looks like, or how I'll know him when I see him. All I know is that I'll know.
"Alyssa! You look great!" My brother quips bounding up to me Claude close at his heals. I look the duo over.

My brother draped in purple and his butler in black. I smiled.
"Hello Alois. Great party!" I say with a huge smile. Alois grins as well.
"So why aren't you dancing?" He asks feigning innocents. I drop my smile and look down as if caught in a deadly act.
"I'm waiting for someone." I say smiling to myself.
"Who?" He asks.
Just ten the doors blow open and thunder cracks outside and in the doorway stand a tall majestic black butler and beside him his master. My cheeks flush with colour watching the duo close the door and casually walk in like nothing happened. I begin to make my way across the dance floor to them but I'm quickly swept up in the dancing. (play song from the beginning now) I always got so close to him before he would be swept off by another dam. I struggled to find him on his own and it never happened. After a few minutes of trying I ran into his butler, Sebastian. He took me up quickly and kept to the pace of the song.

he was majestic, and held my gaze with loving intent. I didn't want to break away. But when he spun me into a different partner the moment was gone. After several hours of trying I retired away from the ballroom and out onto the terrace for some fresh air. I always loved the smell of the garden on a crisp moon lit eve. The music wasn't any quiet out on the giant landing than it was inside.
"Excuse me?" A soft voice calls. I turn quickly and there he is. His back hair falling perfectly over his blue an black masks that obscures his face just enough. His blue outfit matched and yet contrasted, but still looked amazing. He held himself with a sort of dignity that mad me feel like he was in charge, I loved it. He bowed.
"M'lady" he says. I curtsy in return.
"Sir." He smiles and holds out a hand.
"May I have this dance?" He asks (play the song now if you haven't already) I slip my small hand into his and he pulls me close and we begin to twirl to the beat of the music.

it was everything I'd hoped for and more. Maybe coming and visiting Alois wasn't such a bad idea after all....
