Divya flew around the room as fast as she can, running from Ackerley who suddenly picked up speed and can easily catch Divya if he really wanted to. Divya has the gift of flight as her advantage but Ackerley could jump the same high as Divya can fly. Ackerley was about to stab Divya in the back but Ernestine blocked the sword with his hand. Ackerley smirked and pulled out the sword with his one arm he has left. Ernestine examined his hand where blood is spilling out. Ernestine clenched his other hand into a fist and looked angrily at Ackerley. Then he vanished and reappeared at the one side of Ackerley where once an arm was and swung his sword at him but he quickly lifted up his sword and blocked Ernestine. They both stared at each other then backed away. They both were breathing heavily and Ackerley looked at him suspicious.

“I killed you; I stabbed you in the heart. How are you alive? And what did birdy mean by the connection thing?” Ernestine stayed silent and stood straight up.

“It’s actually a simple thing, which if I’m going to kill you, you should probably know about. You Ackerley Antonios…are the reincarnation of my older brother…and the reason I didn’t attack is because I wanted to see if you’re anything like my brother, but I guess not. He was the main branch leader of Takashi and led the forces 2000 years ago for the after war you caused.”

“We? It was you who attacked us which caused the after war.” They both remained quiet in till Ernestine started attacking again by charging forward and lifting his sword and stopped when the sword slightly touched Ackeley’s neck.

“You’re lying.”

“I’m not! It’s what has been told to me by my father so I won’t know if it’s true or not. But with you Takashi, I bet it was you.” Ernestine grinned and wanted to pierce Ackeley’s neck with his sword, ending it all when he heard a voice.      

“Stop!” They looked to the side to see Artemis and Donovan coming their way with books and an old man.

“Eriko…what?” Artemis held up her hand in a sigh for him to ‘shoosh’.

“We found your transportation machine which was in complete and Maori helped us with it and made it complete. We then went to Cyloc and quickly found out what they knew.” The old slender man stepped forward and fell to his knees and placed his hands on the wood in front of him. His eyes began tearing up and begged for forgiveness.

“What?”

“The Nekori were the ones who framed both Takashi and Antonios. We built two evolved robots that time that looked just like the two main branch leaders and killed the other one. We did this as a backup plan because we knew we wouldn’t win against the two great families combined, so we started the after war to get revenge. Please! You may punish me however you please! My ancestors shouldn’t have done that!” Ackerley and Ernestien looked at each other then signed. They all started talking about that event and what the outcoems were. At the end of it all Ernestine and Ackerley made peace, making the two families come together as well as the Nekori who they will give a second chance. Ackerley turned to his daughter and walked over to her, the reaction her only baking away.

“Eriko?”

“Ok look. I know you’re my father and all but I hope you realize I’m not going to be your daughter no matter what. I’ve lived my whole live with Kione that I can’t think of any other father, even if I told him I hated him.” She smiled at him and hugged him then walked over to Donovan. The door then jumped open and Maori entered with dust all over him and he coughed. Ackerlery stared at him.

“He’s the one who completed the time machine?” He nodded.

“Amazing.” Ackerley walked to Maori and asked him how he did that. They began talking about machinery and stuff. Divya walked over to Artemis who was smiling.

“You aren’t mad?” She shook her head.

“Well…not at you anyway. I need an explanation from Kione about why he never told me. I could handle it.” Divya nodded the looked to Donovan.

“You’ve matured Donovan,” Then to Artemis. “You’re growing into a beautiful girl.” Divya said as she took Artemis’s hands.

“Ugg please, I’m only ten years old! And I bet you’re not much older than me.” Divya began laughing loud.

“No sweaty, I’m actually older than 1700.” Artemis’s eyes widened and her mouth fell open.

“You have got to be kidding me!” Divya shook her head and was about to say something when Donovan interrupted.

“Where’s Marise and Cernerus?” Divya bit her lip and looked to Ackerley who was fascinated in Maori.

“Ackerley, we’re missing two members.” Ackerley straightened himself and nodded.

“They’re in the lab on the first basement floor; they’re going up against that guy.”

“What do you mean?”

“That guy is what our scientists have been working on for more than a decade. A monster. And the info we got from examining Cerberus completed him. An absolute monster.” They all stared to Ackerley who nodded his head sadly.

“Run Cerberus!” She said as she grabbed an iron bar and charged for the room sized green big slob monster coming at them with red eyes. She jumped up and hit it in the face but the iron bar taken in by the green slob. “Ew.” Cerberus separated and charged for the green slob and jumped up and began scratching the green slob, making it fly into a million pieces but only returned and formed into the same being he was before.

Left- What the hell are we supposed to do?!

More red lights began falling down on the lab and the doors open. A loud voice filled the lab of Ackerley telling the green slob to stop what he is doing. He called it the Experiment E. Marise and Cerberus ran out and went up to the ground floor and looked for the room they were in and when they did only Ernestine, Ackerley, Maori and Divya were there.

“Where’s Artemis, Kione and wolfy?”

“Gone.” Divya answered as she paced the room.

“Where to? When will they be coming back?” Divya shook her head then stopped.

“They won’t be coming back…ever.” Divya said then looked down. Marise and Cerberus looked confusedly at her then at Ernestien and Ackerley who were talking on the other side of the room.

“What happened?”

“We made peace.”

“What? After all we’ve been through? And just like that? You can’t be serious!” Divya looked away and slowly nodded then walked over to Marise.

“Kione is gone. We might never see him again and Artemis went with Donovan, I don’t know where. She said she just couldn’t stay here with Ackerley.” Marise looked down and nodded.

“What about us then?”

“You can both stay and be part of the peace or you can go your own way but then you will be classified as an enemy.” Marise thought for a moment then walked to Ernestine, Cerberus following.

“Ernestine, I would like to talk to you.” Ernestine nodded and they walked away out of the room and closed the door.

“Yes Marise?”

“I would like to thank you for all the years you took care of us and gave us things to do in our time and you now…I would just like to thank you.”

“You’re leaving aren’t you?” Marise nodded. Ernestine smiled and messed up her hair.

“Ok. But you always know that you’ll be my child so you can always return.” Marise smiled the nodded. She rubbed Cerberus then turned around and walked through the hall filled with blood and Cerberus followed.

“Good bye…Ernestine.” And with that she disappeared to who knows where to and do who knows what…maybe never to be seen again…
