Back at the Antonios base they tortured Marise and Donovan to spill where the other members are as of the moment. They were in a dungeon, which is quite odd for the place is so evolved. Cerberus though was taken to the lab where the scientists took each of his heads and pulled them away, forcing them to separate. They tied them to tables and started dissecting them. They were curious on how Cerberus worked on the inside, being a Hellhound that is.

“This is truly fascinating, lord Ackerley.” One of the scientists began his report. “First thing we noticed would be that each of these Hellhounds being separate are different species and second is that one of them is a female and because of this we have all the reasons to believe that they weren’t one body to begin with.”

“That makes sense.”

“Another reason is that two of them are normal dogs and the other one has abnormal organs.”

“Like how?”

“Well for one thing he doesn’t have lounges which we think is for the reason that Hellhounds can breathe in air, water, and whatever may be in the Underworld so our theory being their lounges were evolved were wrong. Another thing would be that he has less blood veins than the other two so he doesn’t bleed much and some of the scientists think it might be something about Hellhounds being half dead. Now what we can’t figure out is that in battle the other two are just as strong as the abnormal one and one of them has incredible muscles in which he may be stronger then the real one. The female is the weak one. We also determined that there’s a limit to the distance they can stay from each other.”

“Cerberus is a fascinating creature indeed. Anything else?”

“We’re taking more DNA samples at the moment but we’re having troubling putting once to sleep. But we’ll deal with it. ” He nodded.

“Good.”

“Lord Ackerley.”

“Lord Gilford, have they spilled yet?”

“No matter what we do they won’t fess up. At a time we had to take them to a doctor before they lost too much blood. So it isn’t going any good.”

“I see. Please arrange a meeting for me, I wish to speak to them alone.”

“Yes sir.” Then he scurried away.

On the first and second basement floor was only silence. They placed on each of the three basement floors a Cerberus. On the first was Man’naka because that’s where all the evolved machinery is and on the second was Hibari. There was silence because they were put to sleep to do the experiments however…on the third basement floor is howling and barking all you could hear. Migi was the hardest to experiment on because they couldn’t put (as of learned) her to sleep. They could only make her body numb but her barking and howling couldn’t be stopped.

“Would you shut up dog?! Seriously!” Migi tried shaking her head when they wanted her to drink a liquid but couldn’t. Ugg this taste’s this bad!

“I wonder if Hellhounds can talk.”

“Probably not, this one is a normal dog, and the Hellhound is asleep so we can’t find out, anyway we have to find out how this one is different from normal dogs, I mean if they were separated in the beginning then why didn’t the Hellhound just stay as one? These two are probably in the way but they still differ from dogs and we can’t figure out why they are different! Come people do something!” Everyone is the lab instantly looked to him then went back to work. Well these are a bunch of idiots. Why did they let a bunch of idiots do experiments on one of the Cerberus? These Antonios are stupid!

“Have we determined what kind of dog she is?”

“She is a German Shepherd and he is a Leonberger.”

“Do we have DNA samples on these dogs?”

“Umm yes, on the fifth top floor.”

“Ok now who will go all the way seven stories up to fetch that?” Everyone remained silent.

“Fine, newbie go.”

 “What? Why do I have to?” Another scientist placed her hand on the newbie’s shoulder.

“Do it, we had a lot harder stuff to do.”

“Like what?” The scientist whispered into the newbie’s ear then a shock of horror went over his face.

“Ok ok I’ll go.” The newbie left the lab and hurried to the elevator.

“Found something boss?” He was about to answer when Migi began barking again.

“No I just want to match the DNA strips, see if I find something interesting.” He said as he flicked a tube with a blue liquid. “Where are all the injections?”

“Right here sir.” One said as he brought a tray full of injections. He carefully poured the blue liquid into the injection then moved over to Migi.

“This may sting.” Migi stopped barking and stared at the scientist. As soon as the blue liquid began flowing into Migi, she began howling of the pain and stinging.

It hurts! It hurts! After a while Migi’s howling faded.

“It takes your voice away for a while, even though you’re a dog and have no voice, I guess it worked.” That little piece of…

“Here it is sir.” The newbie came back with two vials with labels on.

“Ok give me hers then you go up and give the scientists his.”

“Ok.” He handed the blue robed with cloves and the masked man the vile then left the lab again.

“Jimmy Binny Dot Dot, whatever your name may be, run this for me.” Everyone looked to him and everyone simultaneously asked,

“Who?” The boss face palmed and pointed to one of the scientists.

“Ok.” He took the vile and headed for a machine.

“Ok then, we’re going to dissect her now, where are all my delightful surgeons?”

“Lunch break.”

“Ugg ok will someone go call them for me?!” Then the door opened and the newbie entered.

“Newbie! Go call the surgeons!” He stood there a little shocked then slowly nodded and moved away and again to the elevator.

Oh Hell no! PLEASE! These are a bunch of idiots and now they want to dissect me?! Will someone please save me from these drunken scientists?!

The door opened and an entire staff of surgeons came inside and went to stand around Migi. Migi began tearing up and began saying her prayers. This is it…I’m going to die by the stupid Antonios surgeons…and I couldn’t even prove Hibari wrong about me yet!

Just when the scalpel was about to pierce her skin the door flew wide opened and a loud bark was heard, Hibari ran inside at full speed and all the scientists and surgeons began screaming and backing away. Hibari jumped up and onto the boss’s face and started scratching in till you could see blood spilling and his eyes flying away. The others screamed and began running away out of the lab in a big crowd. Hibari let out a loud bark towards them all, sending a shock wave which knocked them all unconscious. Hibari then jumped onto the table Migi was strapped to and scratched off all the straps.

Left- Migi, you ok?!

Right- I’m ok now that you’re here

Left- Oh yes and what you said about earlier? You don’t need to prove that you’re strong to me, because I know you already are, how else could you resist their drugs? Man’naka and I couldn’t

Left- Can you move?

Right- Sorry but no, I couldn’t resist their liquid drugs though. One made me numb and the other mute.

Left- Well you’re in an awkward position.

Hibari moved to her and bit on the fur at her neck and threw her onto his back.

Left- I also heard that you’re…you’re…

Right- Female…I’m sorry I never told you guys…

Left- No no it’s ok, I understand why you didn’t tell us

Right- So you’re not mad?

Left- Course not. I always wanted a younger sister

Migi only relaxed on Hibari’s soft fur.

Left- I also remembered a little about our past

Right- Like what?

Left- I remember when we were just little cubs, we lived in a small house in an un-evolved technology town where only 1000 live or so. Our owner was a cute girl with long blonde hair and always played with us. Our parents were another person’s dogs then they sold the cubs so I can’t be sure if we are blood related or not. Anyway we always played together and with the girl in till one day her older brother decided to get a full grown cat which we hated. While they were off to school the cat always attacked us and we were still cubs so we always ended with big injuries and we were taken to the vet a lot. The girl always yelled on her brother about that stupid cat in till one day the cat decided it is best to kill us but that’s when our abnormality began and we sensed something weird about the cat that morning and just when they left for school we ran away into the nearby forest

Right- Ran away into a forest? As cubs? From a cat? Fast enough? So confused. Anymore?

Left- Nope that’s it

Migi signed then calmed a little down and closed her eyes.

Left- Sleepy?

Right- Yup

They stepped over the bodies and walked down the hall and stopped at the elevator. They entered the elevator and waited for it to move.

Right- Is it stuck or what?

Left- I don’t know but if they intend to capture us then they’ll be surprised and also Man’naka can handle himself, I mean, he is a Hellhound isn’t he?

Right- Yup

When the elevator moved up they smiled and when they reached the first basement floor the doors opened and Man’naka was waiting on the other side.

Middle- I knew it was your voices I heard

Left- Hop on the ride

He stepped inside and waited in till it moved again.

Middle- Migi, you’re a-

Right- Female? Yes I think I’m aware of that

Middle- Also, it’s a good thing seeing you helping Migi

Left- Yes yes don’t rub it in

The elevator moved up one story and opened on ground floor and they stepped out.

Middle- Isn’t it strange that no one is here?

Right- Maybe everyone is at the dungeon with Marise and wolfy.

Middle- Smart Migi, they may be there but Antonios are always wary so they would post patrols on each floor, mostly at entrances and elevators

They started walking down the hall and examined every room they crossed in till they reached a room which had stair in it and they followed down it.

Left- Must lead to the dungeon

Right- So it’s father away from the labs? So they aren’t connected?

Middle- Marise and wolfy’s down there

They slowly went down; making sure Migi is alright along the way. The stairs were long and went on and it took forever to go down them so by a quarter way already, Migi fell asleep on Hibari’s back.

Middle- Ok now tell me Hibari, are you just being nice to her because she’s a ‘her’?  Or another reason?

Left- Well one thing I thought she was a sissy boy but now I know that she’s just a young girl and some of my past came back and I also used to think she was a weak poor little thing which couldn’t do anything but she’s proven me wrong, countless times…but each time I see this scrawny poor boy and that figure never really vanished…but if she wants my acknowledgement, she achieved it when we fought the Minotaur…

Middle- So in other words yes and you’ve proven that you’ve been just plain mean with her all along

Left- Ugg shut up! When we get out of here I’ll apologize…

Migi smiled as she listened to their conversation. Hibari isn’t such a bad guy after all…

The time is almost right for me to enter the battle, but what would they do if I enter at the most surprising and bad timing? Hehe we’ll see…
