LEADER: Beaver and Thicket

TERRITORY:

The Onyx's are found under the mountains, living in a luscious, dense pine forest with animals thriving in every corner, the natural mountain water rushing down in the summer, sometimes causing catastrophes as floods even ripping trees out of the ground at times, and bad mudslides.

The Onyx are adapted to suit this environment, usually appearing small and skinny at first glance, due to their thin, dark colored fur coats.

GENDER DIFFERENCES AND JOBS:

Both females and males range in size, both being equally likely to be big or small.
They all have chosen and assigned jobs that they work to exceed in, like hunting or guards or general, etc. that they must perform during most of the day, though having the opportunity to switch with a wolf for a day or two.

Their jobs mostly are shown by skill sets and gender.
Some of them can be sexist brats, so the Onyx's try and kill these wolves before they can let out another squeak, clearly extremely protective of rights.

SKILLS':

The Onyx mostly specialize in fighting, as soon mentioned.
Their hearing is their main sense, though, as it knows the difference between bird and wolf just by the way a twig snaps. Of course, they are mainly feared through some of they're inherited skill of climbing trees, choosing the correct branches to jump on, which ones will snap, etc.
This makes it difficult for them to be tracked down and killed, as they would move through the trees and thickets.

PERSONALITY AND TRAITS:

The Onyx usually excel in fighting.
They treat it as a sport and showing their personality on how they do certain moves and which one they do in battle.

They use particular skill sets on who they are fighting or hunting, like matching fast ones to ones with the supreme instincts, so that they can have a well matched fight, but practice to be able to let those skills shine so that they will learn how to win it.

They will have two leaders so that the vote is fair on what to do and stuff, each leader then choosing a successor before it dies. If they die without a successor, then they vote on who will take his or hers place.

DEATH:

When they die, they often go above the other spirits, to allow them to shine. They make them get their flare and scatter in the morning, going down to earth to check on their loved ones, creating shadows behind the stuff that the other spirits cannot touch.

This is why the pine forest is so dark —> their spirits thrive in the place, visiting loved ones and such.

They allow some to go to the City Of Light every once and a while, renaming it the City Of Night, as the City never once conversed with the other.

When the spirits are forgotten or are ready to leave, they too take the spirit of a black pup.

It is believed that another wolf spirit shows by the living, though only allowed to know when they die.
The brown wolf spirits create the land and the trees, all of the biomes around them...
