The fool can turn wise with love and the wise can turn into a fool over love. I felt the title 'Love Fool' is befitting to the plot as the heroine's life is turned upside down as she falls hard in love. But, the title lacks originality, and can be a little generic to these particular genres.

The book cover is simple. It features a cute happy couple with the title written in pink colour. The texts are readable, and the font and the cover picture complement each other rather well. An adorable book cover.

The blurb introduces the two main characters, Eva King and Sven. There's enough information laid out for the readers and you can tell right off the bat that it's a romance novel. The one thing that I noted was some sentences could be rephrased for better impact and there's an excessive use of adjectives which turns out to be a little ornamental.

The introductory chapter was good. The humorous narrative is entertaining to read, and I liked the comedic take on the tragic story. The MC Eva is a feisty and resilient person who's chasing dreams. Though I liked that traits in her, I personally couldn't connect with the character in the introductory chapter. I'd also suggest combining the introduction and part 1 as the latter is a rather short chapter. I think, it'll make the introduction even more impactful as well.

The first chapter was laid-back, but it often felt like reading diary entries. I would've preferred having Eva's background information sprinkled throughout the course of the book blend in with some in-the-moment scenes. It would avoid the info dumping, and enable the readers to connect with Eva gradually.

The book needs some cleaning grammar-wise. Especially, the comma usage is odd at a couple of places which led to some comma splices as well.

Overall, the witty and sassy writing style is entertaining to read. The pop culture references are an interesting addition to the narrative, and in one way makes the character easily relatable.

I liked that 'Love Fool' isn't just a romance novel. The story discusses weighty topics such as employment struggles of graduates and struggles of life in general.

Good job! Keep writing!
