Wang Mu Chen balled his lifted hand and stepped back.

"Song Xiao Bo."

The smaller looked up instantly as he heard the elder's serious tone.

"Here"

Mu Chen took out a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it over to the smaller signing him to clean his mouth.

Xiao Bo blinked his eyes and wiped his mouth,

"I-I will wash it and give you back," Xiao Bo looked a little guilty.

Mu Chen nodded, "Let's go."

Xiao Bo quietly followed the elder nervously cause he wasn't looking as gentle as he did while he was feeding him. His words sounded cold again.

Mu Chen after completing the discharge procedure went to meet Yi Xuan once.

"Ah, you guys are here, did you complete the procedure?"

Yi Xuan looked at his friend who just nodded.

"Xiao Bo, you have to visit the hospital for the check-up after a week, ok?" Yi Xuan smiled at him.

"Yes, Xuan Gege-..."

Xiao Bo realized that he called him as he did in his past life and bit his lips,

"Sorry, Doctor Xuan."

Yi Xuan chuckled, "No problem. And you can call me Gege. I don't mind, Xiao Xiao."

He ruffled the smaller's hair finding him adorable.

Xiao Bo smiled brightly, "Yes, Xuan Gege."

Wang Mu Chen's eyes darkened seeing them.

Yi Xuan felt his back getting chilly all of a sudden and when he noticed his friend's expression he knew the reason. He gulped his saliva and stepped back from the smaller.

"Alright, take care you both. I have to go check patients," he quickly escaped.

"Bye Gege," Xiao Bo waved his hand with a smile.

"He's gone," Mu Chen commented and grabbed the smaller's hand.

Xiao Bo got flustered and tried to take back his hand but the elder tightened his grip around the wrist and dragged him out of the hospital.

The smaller was getting frightened not knowing what made the elder angry.

"It...hurts," Xiao Bo voiced out finally when they reached the parking lot.

Mu Chen looked back, released his grip, and saw the smaller's thin wrist that had red marks of fingers on his pale white skin.

He gritted his teeth, "Sorry," he opened the car door for him, "Get in."

Xiao Bo held his wrist and got inside the car, the elder placed his hand above the head in case the smaller got hit by the roof of the car.

The smaller's face was flushed by the sudden kindness of the elder. Mu Chen closed the door walked to the other side and got inside the car.

Before starting, he opened a plastic cover and took out the medicine from it, he grabbed a water bottle from the back seat and handed it to the smaller.

"Have it, you have to take this medicine after breakfast."

"Thank you," Xiao Bo bowed a little took the tablet, and swallowed it with water.

"You will get drowsy due to the medication, so sleep while you can," Mu Chen suggested and started the car.

Xiao Bo leaned back comfortably as Mu Chen inclined the seat and within a few minutes, he dozed off as the medicine kicked in.

Mu Chen glanced at the smaller who was sleeping peacefully. He noticed that the smaller's face was so small.

His caramel brown hair was all messy, his fringes were fluttering softly over his forehead due to the light breeze from the car window revealing his brows which were not thick and were gentle-shaped.

His curly eyelashes were long and thick. Below his small and straight nose was a pair of rosy lips that were slightly cracked open.

The upper lips were thin but the lower lips were plump and full with flesh.

His skin was paler white and was healthy. Despite his bony structure, he had little puffed-up cheeks that turned red at a little touch.

The side of his face shone brightly with golden light as the sun's rays seeped in through the window making him look like an angel.

Mu Chen lifted his hand and brushed the smaller's hair, he saw a mole on the temple and rubbed it a little with his thumb,

His eyes fell on the luscious lips. He held the smaller's nape and rubbed the lips a little.

He felt the delicate, soft lips. He gulped his saliva and turned straight looking at the road.

He cleared his throat retracted his hand and drove off to the University not looking at the smaller again so as not to distract himself and cause an accident.

He stopped the car in the parking lot at his dorm building as it was not allowed to park at the 'Novice Pavillion'.

He tried to wake up the smaller but couldn't, seeing the tranquil expression on Xiao Bo's face.

He got out of the car and opened the door on the smaller's side. He leaned in and gently took him into his arms without disturbing his sleep closed the door with his leg and locked it with the key in his hand.

He started walking towards the 'Novice Pavillion' which was located on the other side. He had to walk at least 300 meters to reach the building.

He didn't care about the stares he was getting while walking. But the students were in uproar as they were seeing the great Wang Mu Chen who was cold to everyone even to the professors, and principal, and the dean was carrying a boy in his hands who was not Feng Xin Yi.

All the students know that Wang Mu Chen took care of Feng Xin Yi especially. There were rumors that they both were in love with each other and were in a relationship.

So, when Xin Yi came to the University with lunch boxes every now and then and when Mu Chen would only be kind enough to bear the other's tantrums, the students weren't surprised they just admired their relationship.

But now everyone was shocked to see another boy whom they never saw, in the arms of Wang Mu Chen sleeping serenely despite the hustle and bustle happening around him.

Some students even took a photo of it and posted it on the University student's forum asking for the boy's details but had no luck.

Xiao Bo felt the two strong arms holding him. His long lashes quivered as he opened his eyes and saw Mu Chen who was looking straight. 

He blinked his eyes several times to understand the situation and then he noticed the stares of the students around him.

He understood that the elder was carrying him. He immediately looked at him,

"W-What are you doing? Put me down."

Wang Mu Chen looked down, "Ah, you are awake."

>>>What? What's with his calm reaction? Doesn't he feel embarrassed carrying me like this?

"Everyone is looking at us weirdly, put me down," Xiao Bo furrowed his eyebrows.

"I don't care," Mu Chen deadpanned.

>>>But I care... what's wrong with him?

He felt so small under those piercing gazes, he wrapped his arms around the elder's neck and buried his face on his chest feeling self-conscious.

Mu Chen's lips curled up a little as he saw how the smaller tightened his grip around him.

The girls who were following the pair with their cameras taking the video were stunned seeing the ever-so-stone-hearted, cold-blooded Mu Chen's smile. They fell to the ground in shock and were in a trance.

Mu Chen walked inside the building 'Novice Pavillion' got into the lift and then strode straight into the room as the door was open.

Feng Xin Yi who just came out right after showering saw them,

"Why, is Xiao Xiao still feeling weak?"

"No, he is fine," Mu Chen replied.

That's when Xiao Bo looked up, "Put me down, now."

Mu Chen was reluctant but he had no reason to carry him anymore so he gently put him on the floor.

Xiao Bo immediately ran into Xin Yi's arms and hugged him tight as he was so embarrassed.

Xin Yi chuckled and hugged him back.

"Why, did you miss me so much, Xiao Xiao?"

Xiao Bo shook his head, "Everyone was watching."

"Everyone?" Xin Yi frowned with a question mark on his face.

Xiao Bo broke the hug and went behind him. He peeked out a little and pointed his index finger at the elder,

"He carried me all the way here..." He complained with pouty lips.

Feng Xin Yi chuckled at the smaller's cute action, "Mu Gege, you carried him all the way here?"

"I parked the car at 'Snow Lotus Pavillion' and he was sleeping, so..." Mu Chen explained. 

He was also trying to control his expression from smiling cause he found the way the smaller complained so adorable.

"It's reasonable cause when he is sleeping we don't have the heart to wake him up," Xin Yi turned to the smaller, "So, everyone watched while he carried you here that's why your face is all red, huh?"

"Red?"

Xiao Bo touched his face with a perplexed expression.

Xin Yi shook his head and ruffled the smaller's hair with a smile on his face,

"Cutiee."

Xiao Bo looked at Xin Yi with a question mark on his face.

"Then, I will be going."

Mu Chen walked out of the room smiling but he stopped when he heard the loud noises from the next room.

He frowned and knocked on the door, "Shen Yu, are you okay?"

Inside the room, Li Fan hovered above Shen Yu and was holding the other's both hands above his head with just his one hand and Shen Yu was trying to break free from his grip.

That's when they heard Mu Chen's voice, they both looked at the door at once.

Wei Chen was on his morning run across the promenade riverside. He stopped as he was sweating and sat on a bench.

He was quenching his thirst with the energy drink he brought while looking at the surreal morning haze over the river.

"It's beautiful here." 

Wei Chen heard a voice from behind and was startled. He looked back and was shocked to see Feng Mian in front of him.

"You..." Wei Chen was surprised and couldn't form any words.

Feng Mian chuckled, "I didn't know you would be this alarmed to see me."

"Ah, it was just too sudden...I didn't expect you to be here, that's why," Wei Chen replied, awkwardly.

"Well, I am staying there in that apartment for this month. I was jogging and saw you, so I thought I would say hi to you," Feng Mian smiled.

"That apartment?" Wei Chen was surprised again.

"Why? Is something wrong with that apartment?" Feng Mian asked.

"Nothing... " Wei Chen paused for a second.

"My friend lives in that building too, that's why."

Wei Chen lied not wanting to reveal that he had a room in that building which was a secret not known to anyone.

"Um, is that so?" Feng Mian raised his left brow with a skeptical look.

"Yeah. Um...then see ya."

Wei Chan was about to escape when Feng Mian grabbed his hand.

"Wait."

Wei Chen's expression was grim, "What?"

"You said you would be accompanying me to see places, so how about today, are you free?" Feng Mian asked.

>>>I didn't say, it was you who asked me rather it was like a command.

Wei Chen smiled wide even though he was mad, he couldn't afford to offend the Young master of the Li family.

"Ah, what should I do, I am busy today."

"Then how about tomorrow?" Feng Mian was persistent.

"Tomorrow I have a conference in the morning and a business meeting till late night, so I can't," Wei Chen replied.

"Ah, that's bad news. Then how about the day after tomorrow?" Feng Mian smirked.

"I have a prior appointment on that day," Wei Chen responded looking so done.

"Can't you cancel it?" Feng Mian stepped forward a little.

"I can't, it's important," Wei Chen stepped back.

"Who are you gonna meet?" Feng Mian's voice was deep.

Wei Chen gulped his saliva, "It's..."

Wei Chen was getting irritated by the other's interrogative questions.

Li Feng Mian balled his fist but smiled through his lips,

"I am sorry for disappointing you. Now, if you'll excuse me..." Wei Chen left.

Feng Mian looked at the back of Wei Chen which was disappearing and smiled sinisterly,

"You must pay a huge price for disappointing me, Weiwei."

Shen Yu got up first and wanted to freshen up quickly so that he could go meet Xiao Bo once he arrived.

So, he was rummaging through his luggage for his favorite outfit that he bought just for the first day.

>>>I kept it here yesterday where did it go?

He was throwing all the clothes away and checking as usual as he does in his home forgetting that behind him, his roommate was sleeping.

"Ah, here it is," he picked up the Gucci shirt and hugged it to his chest, "Why did you hide? I was searching for you."

Then he turned to rush into the washroom and saw the mess he made. The clothes were all over the place.

"Oh, no!" He gasped.

He quickly picked up the clothes on the floor and saw that his favorite tiger-printed boxer was hanging on the lamp beside his roommate's bed.

He has to get on the bed to take it. He walked step-by-step slowly not making a sound.

After reaching the bed he bent a little and stretched his one hand while supporting his weight on the other hand which was placed on the bed.

He stretched and stretched but couldn't get it as it was far and his roommate was under him, sleeping.

He got on the bed and was on his knees. He bent again to get the boxer when,

Li Fan grabbed the other's hand and made him lay beneath him in a second and opened his eyes,

"What are you trying to do?" His voice was hoarse.

Shen Yu was startled by the sudden pull, he blinked his eyes, "I-I was trying to get my boxer." He pointed at the lamp.

"And how did it get there?" Li Fan looked at the other with suspicion.

"I was...searching for my clothes and then made a mess, without knowing it flew there," Shen Yu smiled trying to cover up his embarrassment.

"What an absurd excuse," Li Fan snorted.

"What, no. I am not making any excuses, it's true," Shen Yu tried to speak.

"I have seen thousands like you, who pretend to be naive and approach me to gain the power of the Qi family, but at least they were trying to hide it but you are...making it pretty obvious," Li Fan accused.

"What the fuck? I am not one of them and I don't need the Qi family's power. I am Cao Shen Yu, the Cao's don't need the power of Qi's, get it?" Shen Yu looked, offended.

"Oh, really? Who knows maybe Cao's are trying to become more powerful than Wangs who are supporting their family. If that's the case, seducing me, the young master of the Qi family won't be a bad idea, isn't it?"

"Shut up, I was just trying to get my boxer and who wants to seduce you? Even though you're handsome, you are an arrogant bastard and I hate self-centered people like you, so get off me," Shen Yu tried to push him away.

But he didn't budge, "So, you find me handsome, huh?"

"That's not the main point, first get off me, you bastard!" Shen Yu tried again.

"Why should I, it's my bed," Li Can smirked.

"You-" Shen Yu was about to curse when he heard the knock on the door.

"Shen Yu, are you okay?" He heard Mu Chen's voice from outside.

"Mu Gege," Shen Yu mouthed.

Li Fan also heard the voice and got off Shen Yu and brushed his shirt folds.

Shen Yu ran to the door and opened it, "Mu Gege."

"I heard some noises, are you okay?" Mu Chen asked.

"I am fine, Ge," Shen Yu answered, smiling.

"Hello, Mu Dage," Li Fan greeted with a smile.

"Li Fan, you are his roommate?" Mu Chen was a little surprised.

Li Fan nodded, "It was a coincidence. I didn't know until he came back late at night and disturbed my sleep."

"Ah, he was with me. We had a situation," Mu Chen explained.

Shen Yu frowned,

>>>Why is Mu Gege explaining to him?

Mu Chen leaned and whispered in Li Fan's ear, "Does he know?"

"No, I want him to be surprised at the family dinner this week. Don't tell him Dage, please," Li Fan pleaded.

"Alright, but remember what I said, ok?" Mu Chen gave him a stern look backing away.

"Of course, Dage," Li Fan smiled.

"What are you guys whispering to each other?" Shen Yu looked displeased.

"Nothing, your friend is back, won't you go say hi?" Mu Chen smoothly changed the topic.

"What, Xiao-Er is here already?" Shen Yu immediately rushed to the next room.

"Alright take care, I am leaving," Mu Chen patted Li Fan's shoulder and left.

"Xiao-Er!" Shen Yu shouted as soon as he got into the room.

"Shen Yu," Xiao Bo's eyes sparkled.

Shen Yu immediately embraced him, "You know how worried I was when you fainted like that yesterday? I am sorry, I didn't know you can't eat heavy food. It's all my fault."

Xiao Bo felt warm in his heart when he heard it. He thought Shen Yu would get angry at him but he didn't and was even apologizing to him when it was his fault.

"No, it's not your fault, Shen Yu. I am sorry, you don't hate me, right? You aren't disgusted with me-,"

Shen Yu put his index finger on the smaller's mouth. 

"Shut up, why would I be disgusted with you? Don't ever think like that, I am your friend and I accept everything of you and so do Xin Yi, right?"

Xin Yu smiled, sighing, "Of course, so don't blame yourself for what happened yesterday you both. We are friends so if we get sick we will help each other out and it's no one's fault, okay?"

He joined the hug and patted both of the friend's heads. They both smiled and hugged Xin Yi.

Xiao Bo was determined that this time he could change his life. He got a little courage from the warmth of his friends.

Wei Chen was called for an emergency meeting in the company. When he got there, everyone was in uproar working like maniacs.

"What happened?" Wei Chen asked his secretary as soon he got into his office.

"All our investors pulled out their funds at once, Young Master Song," the secretary explained with a worried voice.

"What, how is that even possible?" Song Wei Chen was shocked.

"Senior Song is looking for you, sir. Let's go to the meeting room," the secretary said.

As soon as he got out of his office he was met with his furious Father who slapped him hard across his face in front of everyone.

Song Wei Chen lifted his head keeping his hand on his cheek, "Father?"

"You useless son of a bitch, whom did you think you offended?" Song Yi Ming was mad to the point that his face was all red.

"Offend? I didn't-" Before he could finish Yi Ming slapped his other cheek so hard that he fell to the ground.

Everyone in the office was shocked to see the scene and some were even taking pictures and videos.

Wei Chen's eyes welled up with tears even though he wasn't abused like Xiao Bo, he had his share whenever he failed to impress his father who would hit him taking him inside a closed room without anyone knowing.

But this time it was different, he was hitting him in front of everyone which never happened.

While Wei Chen was in shock, a person was enjoying it from behind with an evil smirk playing on his lips.

Song Yi Ming was about to kick his son hard when,

"Mr. Song, that's enough," Li Feng Mian spoke.

Wei Chen looked at him with widened eyes.
