Song Xiao Bo calmed down after hugging his elder brother for some time. Wei Chen's phone started ringing.

He answered the call. It was his furious Father who yelled at him for not attending the meeting.

Xiao Bo understood that his brother was being scolded because of him so he quietly got up from his brother and sat beside him looking down.

Wei Chen smiled at his little brother and patted his head signing that it was okay and went out to talk with his Father so as not to make the Younger feel more guilty.

"Father, please calm down and hear me out," Wei Chen started.

"What is so important than attending this meeting, Wei Chen?" His Father's voice wasn't soft at all.

"Li Family's young master Li Feng Mian," Wei Chen paused.

Song Yi Ming stayed quiet, "Li Feng Mian? You are with him?"

"Yes, we met coincidentally and he told me that it is his first time in S city and that he doesn't know any good place so I am accompanying him," Wei Chen lied, smoothly.

Song Wei Chen's brows furrowed. He balled his fist understanding the hidden meaning behind his Father's honey words.

"Yes, Father," he gritted his teeth and ended the call.

"Wei Chen Gege," Xin Yi called.

And Wei Chen looked back with a frown but calmed down seeing him, "Ah, Xin Yi."

"You didn't leave, Gege? I thought you left already," Xin Yi asked.

"I did but had to come back because..." Wei Chen looked at the door and then back at Xin Yi.

"Wei Chen Gege, is Xiao Xiao inside the room?" Xin Yi queried.

"Yes, what happened?" Wei Chen asked back.

"We went to the cafeteria to eat lunch then suddenly he saw someone and ran away getting scared," Shen Yu explained.

Wei Chen narrowed his eyes at the new person.

"Ah, he is Cao Shen Yu. He lives next to our room. We three went out to eat and this happened, we ran after him searching but he was fast," Xin Yi explained.

Shen Yu bowed to him and Wei Chen nodded in acknowledgment.

"Actually, I think you both heard rumors about him right?" Wei Chen asked looking at them hesitatingly.

Shen Yu was clueless cause he didn't have any interest in the news and only watched animes and played online games. While Xin Yi knew what Wei Chen was implying.

Feng Xin Yi knew who the Song siblings were as soon as he opened the door and saw them.

He thought maybe his two years of high school would be a mess because he would be roommates with Song Xiao Bo as he heard a lot of bad things about him.

But when he saw the person in the flesh, he couldn't believe such an innocent and cute-looking person would be arrogant and a whore who would cling to rich old men.

He didn't want to get to a conclusion so soon. He wanted to see his behavior first, so he just acted like he didn't know about any of the rumors.

Thinking about how shy and quiet Xiao Bo was he was half sure that the rumors were all wrong.

He wanted to give him a chance and see for himself how he was before judging him based on those baseless rumors.

Feng Xin Yi nodded, "Yes, I do. But I don't want to believe them." He honestly said.

Wei Chen nodded, "They aren't even one percent true. It's all made up because those old perverted men were offended as Xiao Bo didn't submit to them and spread all those vulgar rumors to break him down."

Xin Yi was left speechless and then he got angry,

Even though Shen Yu didn't know about the rumors he understood what Wei Chen was saying. He was getting mad listening to what Xiao Bo had gone through.

"Everyone believed those disgusting rumors and shunned him. He had no friends, he was too shy and scared to speak so all of them thought he was arrogant because he was rich, but my Xiao Xiao isn't anything like that," Wei Chen's eyes almost got glossy.

"Of course, Xiao-Er isn't like that," Shen Yu stated.

Wei Chen smiled, "Do you guys remember the man Xiao Xiao saw in the cafeteria?"

"No, we couldn't see clearly and we were shocked seeing Xiao Bo ran away so we just ran behind him," Xin Yi informed.

"Xiao Xiao said that he saw the old perverted man would always harass him whenever he got a chance and that he got scared and ran away. He called me crying so I came back," Wei Chen gritted his teeth,

"I really want to kill that bastard. Why the fuck is everyone trying to ruin him? It's also my Father's fault who would do anything to get more money and because of him Xiao Xiao had to endure all this." Wei Chen's eyes wetted with tears.

Xin Yi patted his shoulder trying to comfort him.

He now understood everything clearly that Xiao Bo was not an arrogant rich kid in fact a victim of perverted men who wanted to see him break so that they could have him.

He did hear about these things happening around him but never paid any attention to them.

"Is he still...crying, Gege?" Xin Yi asked.

"No, he calmed down but I have to go now and I am worried about him, will he be okay here? I thought it would be better for him to stay in dorms rather than in the home cause Father always abuses him..." Wei Chen said honestly.

He didn't want to hide the truth cause these guys could become Xiao Bo's friends if they could understand his situation and his little brother wouldn't have to be alone in the University.

"Gege, you don't worry. We will take care of Xiao-Er. And I won't let anyone come near him from now on." Shen Yu looked determined.

"Yes, Ge. I only know Xiao Xiao for a few hours but I can clearly see he isn't anything like those rubbish rumours. So, don't worry we will take care of him and if anything happens I will call you," Xin Yi also reassured him.

Song Wei Chen smiled, "Thank you, kids."

The three of them went inside the room and saw Xiao Bo who was curled up on the bed like a cotton ball looking so small.

As he cried so much he got tired and slept like a baby holding the pillow in his hands.

Wei Chen looked adoringly at his little brother. He brushed off the younger's bangs and smiled.

"How can anyone think of harming you..." He sighed.

Feng Xin Yi and Cao Shen Yu were also mesmerized by how cute he was looking while sleeping.

They both were also pretty and they knew that but Song Xiao Bo's beauty was of another level.

They couldn't take their eyes off him and all they could think was how to protect him from the cruel world.

"Let him sleep, I will go for now. You both please take care of him," Wei Chen requested while bowing.

"Gege, you don't have to be so formal with us. You don't have to say, he is our friend from this point on and we will take care of him well. So, don't worry," Xin Yi gave him an assured look.

"Yes, Gege. We won't let anyone harm him," Shen Yu also claimed.

"Thank you," Wei Chen smiled and exited the room.

Feng Xin Yi was playing on his mobile and Shen Yu went to his room to arrange his clothes, books, and other things after admiring the sleeping Xiao Bo for a long time.

It was getting pretty late but Xin Yi didn't have the heart to disturb his sleep cause he was sleeping so peacefully.

"No, I don't want to. What should we do?" Xin Yi blinked his eyes looking at the sleeping beauty.

Mu Chen entered the room, "What happened?"

"Mu Gege, see Xiao Xiao is sleeping like a baby. How can we wake him up?" Xin Yi questioned looking anxious.

"Eh?" Mu Chen frowned at the silly question. He looked at the sleeping person and was hypnotized by him.

He was stunned, for a second he forgot how to breathe. He stood there silently looking at Xiao Bo.

After a minute, he cleared his throat, "Ahem, wake him up. I think he didn't even eat in the afternoon, right?"

"Yes, he must be hungry. He should eat something," Xin Yi walked to his bed and kneeled in front of him.

He gently stroked Xiao Bo's fringes, "Xiao Xiao..."

"U..mm..." Xiao Bo turned to the other side with a frown on his face.

Wang Mu Chen gulped his saliva hearing the moan.

Shen Yu sat beside him and nudged him lightly.

"Xiao-Er, please get up. You need to eat something or else you will get hungry in the middle of the night."

Xiao Bo's irises turned right and left slowly under his closed lids. He slowly opened his eyes and rubbed his bleary eyes to see clearly.

"Aww, why are you so cute, Xiao Xiao?" Xin Yi couldn't handle it and squeezed his cheeks.

"Ow, Xin Yi...it hurts," Xiao Bo sulked, pouting more.

"Ugh, even I can't take it."

Shen Yu hugged him as Xiao Bo was looking like an adorable little chick peeking out from the blanket.

"Shen Yu..." Xiao Bo whined.

"Wei Chen Gege left as you were sleeping soundly. We didn't want to wake you up but it's time for dinner and you didn't eat anything even for lunch," Xin Yi voiced out.

"Oh..." Xiao Bo looked down as his pout deepened.

"Song Xiao Bo," Wang Mu Chen called.

Xiao Bo who was sleepy till now was shaken as he heard the familiar voice. He lifted his head and saw him.

His heart thundered as he clutched the blanket so tightly that his knuckles turned pale white.

Mu Chen, Xin Yi, and Shen Yu saw the scared expression on his face clearly.

Xiao Bo backed away and hid behind Shen Yu fearing the elder.

The four of them were in the car, Mu Chen was driving while Xin Yi sat beside him. Shen Yu and Xiao Bo sat in the back seat.

Xin Yi was talking casually with Mu Chen about the project he was working on. While Xiao Bo and Shen Yu were talking about the anime movies as usual.

Xiao Bo's trance was broken as heard the elder. He gulped and downcasted not wanting to answer anything back to him. He just fidgeted with the hem of his shirt.

Only if Wang Mu Chen knew that Xiao Bo was just so happy and couldn't believe that he could go to such places with his friends cause in his past life he didn't have friends and never hung out with them in such restaurants.

"No problem, the food here is so much better than in those fancy restaurants," Shen Yu placed his arm over the smaller's shoulder, "I will show you the true taste of Shanghai, let's go." And dragged him inside.

Mu Chen and Xin Yi followed them and sat at a table,

"Two bowls of eel noodles, one of the pan-fried dumplings, two scallion pancakes, and three plates of radish fritters," Shen Yu ordered.

"I have ordered for me and Xiao Bo, you both order yours," Shen Yu said making Xin Yi shake his head with a smile.

"Two scallion oil noodles and dumpling soup," Mu Chen ordered quietly.

The waiter went away after taking the orders.

"Are you sure, you are gonna eat all those?" Xin Yi asked.

"Of course, and Xiao Bo would also eat with me so it's fine," Shen Yu claimed.

"Don't worry, even though he looks thin, he eats three people's food in one go," Mu Chen mentioned.

"Ah, Shen Yu is such a foodie. What about you, Xiao Bo, are you picky with food? Can you eat what Shen Yu ordered for you?" Xin Yi queried.

Xiao Bo was frozen as he heard the question.

"Good, I and Xiao Bo have so much in common. And I know he will love the food I ordered for him," Shen Yu proclaimed with a proud face.

Soon the food was placed in front of them. Xiao Bo felt dizzy just sniffing the strong scent of the food.

Cold sweats formed on his forehead as Shen Yu gave him chopsticks and placed the bowl of noodles in front of him.

He took a bite with so much hesitation but as soon as the food touched his tongue his eyes lit up. He smiled wide, 

"Ish...sho *chomp* good."(It's so good).

Shen Yu and Xin Yi smiled looking at how adorable he was while munching the food like a rabbit.

Wang Mu Chen's lips raised a few degrees without him knowing.

"Aww, cutie. Come on eat more," Shen Yu placed the dumplings in Xiao Bo's bowl.

Xiao Bo ate some of everything excitedly and all of them were eating with smiles on their face seeing the smaller eating the food delightfully.

But then suddenly he felt pain in his stomach. He put down the chopsticks and clutched his abdomen tightly.

"What happened?" Mu Chen asked as he noticed the pained expression on his face.

Shen Yu and Xin Yi were alerted. They looked at the smaller with worried eyes.

Xiao Bo felt like his insides were being churned, he closed his mouth with widened eyes as he felt the food he ate coming up to his throat.

He looked here and there saw the washroom sign and ran towards it.

The three of them got up and followed the smaller who went inside the cubicle, knelt in front of the commode, and threw up everything he ate so excitedly.

He felt sick as his gut forced all the contents he ate out as it couldn't take it.

His stomach was not used to such food cause he ate only green vegetables that were too small quantities but today he ate beyond the limit he ate every day so his stomach got upset.

Mu Chen, Xin Yi, and Shen Yu were shocked to see the scene. The smaller was crying while throwing up, his stomach was hurting and he didn't have much strength.

"If you can't eat the food, you should have said so, why did you eat just to throw up like this, huh?" Wang Mu Chen snorted.

Xiao Bo's body became stiff as he heard the disdain in the elder's voice, his throat was burning, and he felt shivers all over his body as he looked up.

He felt as if he did wrong, he thought they would hate him for this and then again he would have to die in the same way as he did in his past life.

He started crying hysterically as his body trembled continuously.

The three of them looked at the smaller in shock.
