"Honey I'm home!" Jay Garmadon sang as he burst into the TV room look for (Y/N). (Y/N) looked up from the couch. She'd been in the TV room watching TV. Though she eventually got tired of watching the next shows in the lineup.

Lord Garmadon had taken Zane, Kai and Cole with him for training leaving Jay to have a day to himself with (Y/N).

"Hi, Jay." (Y/N) said smiling softly. Jay Garmadon quickly walked behind the couch and wrapped his arms around (Y/N)'s neck. "Hey, love." Jay said pressing a kiss to the top of (Y/N)'s head.

"I missed you." Jay said genuinely planting another kiss on her. "Jay you just stepped outside to make a call." (Y/N) pointed out and Jay just had to smile at that.

"Well, today I thought that we could get you some new clothes today." Jay teased and (Y/N) recoiled. She wasn't looking forward to this. "Oh!" Was all (Y/N) could say to that.

"So where do you want to go?" Jay Garmadon asked with a teasing grin on his face. (Y/N) half-heartedly shrugged in response. "I don't honestly know how to shop. You choose." (Y/N) admitted to the affectionate crimson-eyed Master of Lightning.

Jay Garmadon grabbed her hand and gently held it in his own. "There are cool places all over Ninjago City. I'll take you to them all you'll love it." Jay promised pressed a chaste kiss to (Y/N)'s lips. Jay then clapped a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder and lead her away to an awaiting limo.

Jay held (Y/N)'s hand as they strolled down the sidewalk. Jay pulled them towards a large clothing store.

(Y/N) stood there silently unsure of how to react to this. Jay noticed this and started to worry that she might back out of this. "What's wrong? Is it me or the store?" Jay asked bluntly.

"The store. I've never seen nor been in a shop like this before." (Y/N) admitted to Jay.

"Ok. We'll consider this going out of your comfort zone then." Jay Garmadon said trying to comfort his love. "It'll be a good experience for both of us." Jay promised her and already pushed the door open.

(Y/N) followed Jay into the shop. It was lit with fairy lights and was decorated to look more as a trendy boutique than anything else.

The girl seated behind the counter was reading a magazine but she looked up when Jay Garmadon and (Y/N) entered. "What's up?" She said casually and continued flipping through her magazine.

Jay grinned and respond with. "Not much! It's our first time here." And held up (Y/N)'s hand in his to emphasise this to the girl in a vague attempt to show off that he was with (Y/N).

The girl seated behind the counter grinned at the couple and said. "I figured. Your girlfriend looks a little nervous."

(Y/N) nervously snatched back her hand from Jay to hide her face in her hands. (Y/N) didn't even know how to approach this conversation. "Nice to meet you two. Anything, in particular, you're looking for?" The girl behind the counter asked putting her magazine down.

"I want (Y/N) to get anything she wants. Oh if you have any recommendations. It would be appreciated." Jay answered and slightly nudged (Y/N) but she didn't answer or remove her hands from her face.

Unfazed by his beloved's shyness Jay turned back to the girl behind the counter and said. "She's shy. We're working on it." With a smirk on his face.

"Aww." The girl behind the counter cooed at the pair. "My friend used to be like that but she's totally come around. After I helped her." The girl said offering reassurance.

"Perfect." Jay replied smacking his hands together as he did. "You know what you're doing then."

"My money is your money, buy whatever your heart desires." Jay insisted and instructed (Y/N) to pick out whatever she wanted and he'd get it for her.

Hesitantly (Y/N) trailing behind Jay and the girl from behind the counter encouraging her to try everything on. Jay picked out anything he could. To his credit, he liked a lot of the stuff he picked out for (Y/N) to try on. Even if (Y/N) did not.

(Y/N) was uncomfortable with changing in the store so Jay just bought her multiples of every item in different sizes to try on later in the comfort of their home.

After checking out (Y/N) and Jay Garmadon strolled down the street hand in hand with their bags full to bursting.

Jay paused at a rather high-end jewellery store. His (Y/N) did only deserve the best. (Y/N) frowned slightly but hid it from Jay. She did want to upset him and this seemed very important to him for some reason she didn't understand.

Soon all matter of sparkly tiaras, shiny earrings, jewel-encrusted hairpins, splendid necklaces, enchanting bracelets, stylish rings, delicate brooches, fancy lockets and pendants were shoved in (Y/N)'s face.

Anything Jay Garmadon thought complemented his beloved (Y/N) he'd have her try on then purchase the ones he felt suited her the best.

The store was hesitant to let (Y/N) try them on but once they realised that Jay had the cold hard cash to purchase anything in their store they gladly begin showering (Y/N) in jewels.

Although Jay did glare at some of the other patrons of the store though he was ultimately very cordial with them. Though to be honest (Y/N) wouldn't have minded if he wasn't as she was doing her best to remain calm and not hurt anyone no matter how tempting it was.

"Jay this really isn't necessary." (Y/N) informed him as yet another grand tiara was placed on her head by one of the snooty jewellers for Jay to observe if it was good enough for his (Y/N)."Nonsense. You deserve only the best." Jay declared as he dismissed the piece and the snooty jeweller took it away.

"Excuse me, do you know of any other stores in the area that sell high-end clothing?" Jay asked one of the sales assistants helping them who was walking by at the moment.

(Y/N) let out a bitter sigh this was going to be a long day. Jay seemed intent on showering her with extravagance even though none of it was anything she would ever remotely want...

This one thought got her thinking. She didn't really have anything she liked in life. Both sets of ninja's had things they enjoyed doing. So why didn't she? Did she even have anything she'd liked? She'd never experienced anything remotely to their way of life.

(Y/N) remained silent for the rest of the shopping spree with Jay snatching up anything he thought might suit his beloved (Y/N).

On the drive back Jay finally noticed how lost in deep thought (Y/N) had been throughout all of this.

"(Y/N), you okay?" Jay asked but got no response. "Hey!" Jay said from beside her, louder this time. (Y/N) gave a startled response jumping slightly. "You surprised me." (Y/N) exclaimed trying not to drop the bags she was holding.

"Sorry (Y/N)." Jay Garmadon laughed helping her balance herself with all the bags.

(Y/N) was so far out of her comfort zone, it wasn't even funny. But Jay had been so excited all day and (Y/N) didn't want to take that away from him.

"What's wrong?" Jay insisted he made a face that told her he wouldn't give up.

"I don't know Jay. I've never–" (Y/N) began. "I know." Jay Garmadon hummed interrupting her. "Thank you for doing this for me, my love." Jay smiled at her brightly as the limo came to a stop.

After heading back up to the apartment with the final lot of bags (Y/N) was surprised when they walked through the door with the mountains of shopping bags when Jay pulled her in for a deep kiss.

"This shopping got you really riled up, huh?" (Y/N) teased when they finally separated. Jay kissed (Y/N)'s jawline. "You got me riled up." Jay corrected her and rested his head on her shoulder.

(Y/N) and Jay collapsed on the couch together. "Perfect." Jay said wrapping his arms around his beloved. He moved down to kiss her collarbone. "Mmm." (Y/N) whimpered and could feel Jay smile against her skin.

"I could kiss you all damn day, (Y/N)." Jay Garmadon roughly revealed. "Well, hopefully not all day." (Y/N) replied. She could hear Jay bark a short surprised laugh.

Jay kisses (Y/N)'s ear and then leaned in to whisper. "(Y/N) are you okay? You want to stop?"

(Y/N) sighed tucking her head into the crook of Jay's neck as a response. "You want to talk to me about it?" Jay pleaded his voice grew more insistent.

(Y/N) bit her lips. "It's difficult to explain." (Y/N) tried to explain. She couldn't articulate why he was feeling such intense feelings of guilt.

"Is it because of me?" Jay Garmadon asked stiffening. "No– I don't know." (Y/N) sighed. "It just... started... because of you ta-" (Y/N) tried to explain but was cut off.

Jay sucked in a quiet breath. "I knew it." Jay sighed sadly as his face fell.

"No no!" (Y/N) quickly replied trying to reassure Jay. "I don't know. I guess I just feel bad because I not used to all of this. Life used to be so stressful and so it's nice to be here where things aren't as painful. You're so sweet to me and act like I'm the best thing in the world–" (Y/N) started to ramble on.

"Because you are!" Jay Garmadon interjected. "–and it's remarkably nice but at the same time... I feel inadequate... What's happening to me?" (Y/N) couldn't stop rambling.

"I'm sorry that you feel that way, (Y/N). But can I hold you?" Jay asked her. "Yeah." (Y/N) said with a sombre face. She needed that right now. Jay held her tight.

(Y/N) sniffed as the burning feeling behind her eyes began to fade away. Jay kissed the top of her head. "I don't like seeing you like this, my love." Jay said trying to calm her.

"Yeah." (Y/N) responded she didn't like feeling like this either. "I'll be okay." (Y/N) said trying to ease Jay worrying. "Oh, (Y/N)." Jay said tenderly. " I know you will."

Despite Jay's body heat trying to warm her (Y/N) felt a shiver ran through her. "Jay?" asked looking up at his warm vermilion eyes.

"Mmm?" Came Jay's response. "Would you like a kiss?" (Y/N) said thinking of something to help Jay.

Jay Garmadon seemed a trifle unsure if she was serious. "Are you sure?" Jay asked and (Y/N) nodded. "Really?" Jay remarked doubtfully. "Because I don't want to mess you up." (Y/N) nodded in response again.

Jay only stayed still for a moment before he wrapped (Y/N) tightly in arms as she kissed him.

She pulled back and took in Jay Garmadon's dazed expression. "Oh, my First Spinjitzu Master, (Y/N)." Jay said breathlessly. (Y/N) moved back. "Was it okay?" (Y/N) questioned him.

Jay smiled hazily at her. "(Y/N) you could stab me and I'd still be happy that it'd be coming from you. Of course, it was okay." Jay declared as he nestled into her with that silly lovestruck smile still plastered on his face.

(Y/N) was happy that she had made Jay happy. He was especially devoted to her after all. Which was nice if a bit undeserved. (Y/N) had never had someone love her and now she had four.

So why did she still feel so weird about it?

When Lord Garmadon, Kai, Zane and Cole returned home. They were shocked to see the small mountains of bags all around the living room with Jay fast asleep on the couch and (Y/N) reading her book.

Lord Garmadon approached (Y/N). "What is all this?" Lord Garmadon questioned her trying not to wake Jay. (Y/N) looked over at Jay. "He insisted on buying all these things and having me try them on." (Y/N) informed him. "Feel free to try them on if you want."

Lord Garmadon chuckled under his breath. "You don't like any of this do you?" he whispered to (Y/N). "It made Jay happy." (Y/N) answered as Jay continued to snore away.
