(Third Person P.O.V)

Zane Garmadon wanted to cut Lloyd's heart out and present it to (Y/N) still beating, pumping blood and repeat the process with the rest of the Ninja but...

He knows (Y/N) would never want that.

Zane Garmadon knew that wasn't healthy. He knew that these emotions could be considered twisted, possessive and unhealthy despite his new 'father' having no problem with it.

There was a thin line he was walking as he struggled with his emotions of possessiveness. That he has to be very careful in not listening to those dark whispers or he and his brothers may lose (Y/N).

Maybe that why he did such a stupid thing. Fear of losing (Y/N) to that monster simply became too great for him to contain so he decided to sneak out to fight Lloyd and the to other counterparts alongside (Y/N) and said, father.

Now he wished he hadn't...

(Third Person P.O.V)

(Y/N) and Lord Garmadon had left to wait for the Ninja's to show up at Chen old temple left forgotten and rotting, deep within the forest of Ninjago.

It was isolated and just far from any cities or towns which also meant no people a perfect place for a place to fight against people that weren't going to hold back.

Lord Garmadon was in the centre of the palace temple, planting explosives chargers in the selected rooms. Though the explosives weren't powerful but their destruction on this battlefield would be needed if they need them.

When Lord Garmadon had finished attaching the last of the small, hand-sized explosives.

He and (Y/N) had already explored the rotting temple mapping out sturdy pathways around the buildings so they could make it around safely.

Lord Garmadon glanced around quickly then he set off for his next target. As soon as he stepped into the main room, he knew something was wrong.

Without hesitating, He drew his sword and bolted for an exit, down one of the pathways.

"Leaving so soon, Father?" a cold voice asked him. Lord Garmadon instantly dropping himself into a defensive position. He slowly turned, knowing what he would see; Lloyd.Lloyd and his two lapdogs Kai Smith and Zane Julian.

Lord Garamdon could feel Lloyd's anger that simmered beneath the surface. Lloyd took a step closer, the sound of his footfall on the aged wood. "No response?"

"I fail to see why answering a rhetorical question would serve any purpose." Lord Garmadon replied steadily.

There was a dark sound filled the air and it took Lord Garmadon a moment to realise that Lloyd was laughing.

The laughter faded and Lloyd stepped closer to his father. Lord Garmadon felt his face harden. "I do not wish to play games." He said rather harshly to Lloyd.

"And this is not one." Lloyd stated, coldly. Lord Garmadon did not reply after that.

"Where is she?" Lloyd demanded, staring his father down, his expression unreadable. Lord Garmadon still didn't answer him.

With that Lloyd struck out at his father. At Garmadon's left and then to his right, quick slashing blows meant to drive him back. Lord Garmadon parried them with startling speed and precision, Lord Garmadon gave a cut at Lloyd's head that he barely blocked.

Lord Garmadon gasped. Physically he was not hurt but simply being in Lloyd's presence seemed to drain him of strength, of energy. It was as if the darkness in Lloyd was leeched his strength away.

"Tell me where she is!" Lloyd gritted out, Lord Garmadon blocked another vicious blow from his wayward son. Lord Garmadon dodged another fierce strike.

Zane and Kai seemed to be circling the pair waiting for a moment to strike. "I've got him. Find (Y/N)!" Lloyd ordered.

Kai and Zane nodded and left splitting up to search for (Y/N).

(Third Person P.O.V)

(Y/N) had heard the sounds of fighting and went running in that direction just as a ninja in white rounded the corner. (Y/N) went to strike and almost landed a near-lethal blow till she saw the glint of red eyes bring her to a screeching stop.

"Zane!" (Y/N) yelled at the copy. "Um, hi." Zane Garmadon said to her giving the love of his life a guilty look.

"I almost killed you!" (Y/N) shouted at him throwing her arms around him with tears in her eyes.

"Sorry, I couldn't do it I know you want me to stay where it was safe but I couldn't let you fight without me." Zane Garmadon admitted to his love.

"I c-care about you, too." (Y/N) told him struggling to get the words out. "But I can't risk you getting hurt. I'm dangerous and I know I can do some awful things in the heat of battle. I don't want you to see me like that." (Y/N) admitted to her Zane.

Zane Garmadon quickly stole a kiss and said. "It's easy to love someone when you've only seen them in the light. But let me love you for your darkness as well."

They shared another quick kiss. "Let's fight." (Y/N) declared holding onto Zane's hand as they ran towards the battle.

It didn't take long for the pair of Ninjas to find (Y/N) and Zane Garmadon running across the old creaking wood.

"(Y/N), you're coming with us now!" Kai growled at (Y/N). "Not on your life!" Zane Garmadon growled back at the Ninja of Fire.

"It is for the good of Ninjago." Zane Julian declared. (Y/N) scoffed at the Nindroid. "No, it's what's most convenient for you." (Y/N) countered raising her sword at Master of Ice.

Zane Julian threw his shurikens at (Y/N), she blocked both of them with her sword.

Zane Garmadon let go of (Y/N)'s hand ready to sink his blade into the other Nindroid for daring to attack his (Y/N). But (Y/N) stopped him planting a small kiss on his cheek as she did.

Which surprised the hell out of both Ninja standing before them.

"He's mine. You get the hothead." (Y/N) instructed and launched herself at the Master of Ice.

"I love her so much." Zane Garmadon said out loud holding a hand to his cheek. "You and (Y/N)?!" Kai shouted at Zane Garmadon. Zane Garmadon nodded his head vigorously.

"Yep, and my brothers and I aren't handing her over. Ever!" Zane Garmadon growled as he slashed at the Master of Fire.

Kai and Zane Julian were thrown through the rotting wall and into the fight between father and son.

"Zane?" Lord Garmadon called out in surprise at seeing one of his other sons. "Father." Zane Garmadon acknowledged helping his father off the ground while (Y/N) guarded them. "Lord Garmadon." (Y/N) answered in kind with a small smile.

"Father?" Lloyd scoffed at the copy as he picked himself off the ground.

Lloyd's eyes feel on (Y/N) he held his hand out, a gesture of comfort from a soul too darkened to even recognise it as such. Beckoning her to his side.

"(Y/N)." Lloyd called out to her to take his hand. But she ignored him and focused on Lord and Zane Garmadon. "You two ok?" She questioned concerned for there safety.

"I'm fine. My love." Zane Garmadon answered her as he propped up his father. "Though it appears that my father needs to rest." He warned (Y/N).

Kai could see Lloyd's face turning red just hearing Zane's copy calling (Y/N) that. "What right do you have to call her that!" Lloyd shouted at Zane's copy.

Thoughts were running wild, in (Y/N)'s mind. Causing her to speak provokingly to Lloyd. "I love him! I love all four of them!" Her words were enunciated clearly, with a world of determination behind each and every one of them.

"No!" Lloyd whispered an expression of disgust and fear, fear of the truth, on his face. "What kind of sick lie is that?" Lloyd shrieked at (Y/N). Who stood her ground and stared him down with cold certainty.

"He has no right! No! None of them do!" Lloyd hissed and screamed at (Y/N).

"They have every right to my love." (Y/N) replied unsteadily. Thoughts ran rampant in her confusion. "They love me, they've always been there for me." (Y/N) said having no idea why she was saying these things at a time like this. Why she was telling the enemy of her emotions?

"They have not." Lloyd replied angerly. (Y/N) could see his grip on his sword tightened. His knuckles were white on his sword.

"It the truth, Lloyd." (Y/N) said softly. Lloyd shook his head mutely in denial. "You were always the pet of the Ninja and Sensei Wu. Always doing their will. They hate me and so do you. It took me weeks, to see past your lies. To see the lies inherent in all the Ninjas." (Y/N) spat at the Green Ninja.

"That's not true!" Lloyd screamed back at her Kai and Zane Julian had to hold Lloyd back from doing something stupid. While Zane Garmadon took the chance to slowly inch back towards the exit with his father.

Lloyd blinked slowly and felt the tears trickle down his face, trails of coolness against his heated cheeks.

He squeezed his eyes shut for a long moment, banishing the last of his tears from his eyes, the last tears he swore he would ever have. He then opened his eyes again, a sad determination taking place of the raging emotions.

"You're lying they've done something to you. They're forcing you to say these things." Lloyd declared in defiance.

"Let me go, son. I need to face him." Lord Garmadon instructed his son having regained some of his strength.

"(Y/N)! Get away from them!" Lloyd shouted. "They're lying to you! Their only trying to take you away from me!"A hand fell on (Y/N)'s shoulder, startling her. She looked to the side to see Lord Garmadon. He gave (Y/N) a short nod before he stepped in front of her.

Lord Garmadon stood between (Y/N) and Lloyd. A dangerous and possibly deadly position. Zane Garmadon at her said now.

"Your fooling yourself, Lloyd." Lord Garmadon replied evenly. His voice was calm and collected.

"I do not need to hear your lies!" Lloyd shouted as he pointed his sword at his father.

"Lies are the way of the Ninja." Lord Garmadon responded. "It is you who chased away the one you loved." A coldness washed through (Y/N) though she fought back a shiver.

A dark rage was pouring off the Green Ninja. It was overwhelming. "You took her from me! You've turned her against me! I will get her back!" Lloyd screamed and charged at his father.

Lloyd swung his blade down in a powerful stroke. It clashed against (Y/N)'s blade. Lloyd stared into her eyes which were glowing orangish-yellow.
