Chapter 17: Saving Her
All I have to say is that I'm sorry for the terrible fight scene. I'm not experienced with writing them, so I'm sorry if it sucks!

The team exited the jet, with Tony, Nat, and Steve going in separate directions; each with their five S.H.E.I.L.D. agents.
Loki stepped out of the jet, followed closely by Thor, and four slightly terrified S.H.E.I.L.D. agents.
"Which building is she most likely in?" Loki questions, not knowing the terrain.
"It's about half a mile to the north." Thor states as he grabs Mjolnir from the ground.
"Lets get going then."
It took the two of them plus the agents a total of eight minutes to get to their target. It was an eerie building that looked like a disused asylum from the outside. The windows were tinted brownish-yellow from all the years of abandonment. The stone and concrete walls were covered in grime and rusty residue left dripping from the windows' iron lining. There were holes in parts of the roof and graffiti littered the outer walls. With every breeze, the the two demigods heard the building creak. It was one bad thunderstorm or strong earthquake from collapsing.
"This is the place." One of the agents stated.
"Before we head in, what are your names?" Thor asks.
"I don't see why this is important Thor. We haven't the time for this." Loki states impatiently, shifting his weight back and forth between his feet.
"My name is Grace." One of the three female agents said. She had short, sandy blonde hair and kind eyes.
"I'm Christina." The second of the female agents said. This one had a-bit-longer-than-shoulder-length, wavy, dirty blonde hair which was tied up in a ponytail behind her.
"I'm Dulandica." The shortest of the three female agents stated. She was Srilankan with black hair that was tied up in a bun to keep out of her face.
"And I'm Buddy." The fourth and only male agent said. He had short brown hair and soft, brown eyes. He was also the tallest of the bunch.
"Nice to make your acquaintances." Thor remarked before turning to Loki, who was rolling his eyes. "Alright. Now we can go."
"Good." Was Loki's one word answer to Thor as he moved straight for the building.
"With all due respect Sir, you should allow us to move ahead of you in case of hostiles." Grace said to Loki as she came to stand by his side.
"If you insist Grace."
With the four agents: Grace, Christina, Dulandica, and Buddy ahead of them, Thor and Loki made their way for the dilapidated building in front of them.
There weren't any outer guards, which was seen as strange, so Christina and Buddy stayed on the outside while Dulandica and Grace went with Thor and Loki.
Inside the base, they were met with seven hostiles. Grace and Dulandica took the four that came from the left, and Loki and Thor took the three from the right. The fight was over in mere minutes.
"We should keep moving. There aren't any alarms going off, but I doubt that their boss doesn't already know we're here." Grace said as she shot the last hostile between the eyes.
They continued moving until they came to a cross section.
"Alright, Grace, Dulandica, you take the left corridor while I take the one ahead and Thor takes the right." Loki ordered as he thought of how best to handle the situation.
"But Loki, that will leave you defenseless as well as Thor." Dulandica pointed out, assessing the situation as well.
"Trust me, we can handle ourselves. We're strong enough. If you find (Y/N) tell me on the comm and I'll send out a message to everyone to meet back at the jet. Same with you Thor. If I find her, I'll send out a message to the whole team, including Tony, Steve, Natasha, and all their agents."
Loki stated like a general to the others.
"Alright. We will do that." Grace responded.
"As will I." Thor answered.
They each made their way trough the hallways, checking for any and all rooms and signs that could have indicated your presence.
Down his corridor, Loki threw open every door he found, searched the room and left, not finding you.
He eventually came to a door at the end of his hallway. It was a steel door that was barred and locked multiple times. Using his magic, Loki managed to unlock, unbar the door, and open it.
The first thing he saw wrenched his heart down to his gut and crushed it with a titanium fist.
You were sat in a wooden chair with your wings weighted down beside you. Dried blood clung to your feathers while small cuts, bruises, and huge lacerations littered your body. Your head hung as you woke at the creaking of the door.
You groaned as you heard the door open. Any and all sound was like a deafening screech to your ears. You wanted to cry out in fear, thinking that your torturer had come back, but no sound came from your chapped and dehydrated lips. Your wings tried to twitch or flap or something to ward off the man who had been tormenting you for what felt like weeks. It was to no avail though. Your wings were too cut up to move and they stung and burned like hellfire had made its way to your wings.
You started to panic as you heard footsteps approach. You fought your restraints and tried to move, but you were in too much pain to move. Your torn suit making it a hundred times harder for you to move.
"(Y/N)?"
You heard the soft whimper come from your left side. Was that Loki?
"Lo-Loki?" You call out hoarsely from the wooden chair, hardly able to speak given your harshly used voice from days before. You were barely awake and on the verge of passing out again.
Loki rushed over to your side with tears spilling over onto his cheeks, down his face, dripping from his chin. He started working on cutting the ropes that restrained your neck, then wrists and onto your ankles after wiping his eyes so he could see.
"I'm here now darling. Everything's gonna be alright. No need to worry love." Loki said frantically as he took the weights off of your wings.
"Loki?"
"Yes darling?"
"I'm cold." You whimper as a shiver wracks your body.
As soon as Loki had you free from your bonds, he took off his cape and draped the green, velvet-like cape over you.
Just as he was about to pick you up to carry you back to the jet, he heard what was probably the most disgusting and revolting voice he had ever heard.
"So, you're here to rescue your little damsel in distress are you?" The man, whose voice you recognized from the past however long you've been here, said with a greasy smile towards Loki.
"You're the one whose kept her here?" Loki questioned with rage burning in his eyes.
"The one and only. She's been a real pain. Won't give me what I want. No matter how many times I say that I can tell her about her sister, she just won't crack." The man responded calmly, walking a little closer to Loki; out of the corner.
Loki built up an attack and sent a blast of energy towards the man. Your tormentor quickly flashed up close to Loki, dodging the attack, taking him off guard, and slicing his arm with a small dagger.
Loki hardly noticed the pain in his arm. The rage and adrenaline piloting him as he looked the man in the face before stabbing his chest with his scepter.
He felt a chill run through him as his anger took over his mind.
At that moment Thor, Dulandica, and Grace burst through the doors on either side of the room in enough time too see Loki go slightly blue in the skin, his eyes tinting red for just a second as he drove the scepter deeper into the dying mans heart.
"No one hurts the people I care about." Loki warned through gritted teeth. Each breath heaving from pure resentment.
As the man died, Loki pulled his scepter from the mans body, letting him fall.
He then looked to Thor.
"Can you tell Natasha and the others that we have (Y/N) and to head back to the jet?" Loki asked rather calmly, inspecting the bloody end of his scepter.
"Yes. I'll take care of that. You get (Y/N) and we'll head out of here." Thor stated, still a little scared of how rage driven his brother had been only moments ago.
"Grace, Dulandica. Could you please grab (Y/N)'s sabers. She would be devastated if she lost them. Also, if you could be so kind, would you take my scepter? I'll need both arms to carry (Y/N)."
Grace moved to the equipment table and grabbed the sabers. While Dulandica took Loki's scepter. Both followed Thor as he left the room, seemingly headed back to the jet.
Loki quickly walked over to you and picked you up as gently as he could. You had your arms wrapped around his neck and your legs around his waist, clinging to him for dear life. Tears were pouring out of your eyes and onto his shoulder as he carried you out, wrapped up in his foresty cape.
"It'll be okay. We'll get you back safely now. No ones gonna hurt you. Not anymore." Loki promised as he carried you to the jet.
