I find myself in a dark space. So dark that I couldn't see my hands before me.

What the hell?

I go down on my knees and blindly search around me on the floor trying to find something to help identify where the fuck I am.

Nothing

Fear fills me as when I feel like I'm being watched. I could hear the steady breath of someone that wasn't me.

"Casper?" I called out uncertainly.

No reply.

"Javier?"

No reply.

"Who's there?" I try to sound threatening, "I won't hesitate to hurt you if you try to hurt me."

There's no reply other than the steady breathing of the person. I slowly stand up on shaky legs and walk forward hesitantly with my  hands forward to blindly feel about.

Nothingness fills the darkness before I hear a small chuckle. The chuckle fills the darkness for a while before it becomes full blown laughter. All of a sudden it goes quiet.

"Who the hell is there?" I questions again, "i have a weapon and I'm not afraid to use it." The lie doesn't seem threatening enough in the darkness.

It's bad enough trapped in darkness with no idea where you are but trapped with someone who seems dangerous is more unnerving.

A slow clap sounds followed by another. Then soon it's a steady flow slow clapping. When it stops, the sound of someone clearing their throat follows. "I see that I've probably not introduced myself." the voice sounded cold and empty and seemed to belong to an older man.

"Who the hell are you? Why am I here? Where am I?—"I don't finish asking my questions before an annoyed, clipped voice interrupts me.

"I have half the mind to kill you here."

I open my mouth to speak but he speaks before I do, "but I won't, you're important. I'm someone who you don't need to know or maybe I should call myself the one who is going to kill your precious Casper and Javier."

Terror and anger fills me as I clench my fists, "I swear if you lay a hand on them, I will kill you."

He chuckles, "you're amusing. I knew I liked you."

"Hurt me. Kill me here. I don't know who you are but I won't hesitate to kill you if you hurt them."

"I have no interest in killing you but you might make a good breeding mare."

"The hell is wrong with you?" I scream in disgust "You're a coward if you're going to hide in the darkness and speak to me. Show your face you coward so I can kill you."

A chill runs down my spine at the sound of his chuckle, "I'm sorry darling but light does not sit well with me."

"Who are you and what do you want?"

I only get silence for a while before he speaks, "it seems our time is over darling."

"I'm not done talking to you. Get back here." I spin and yell out into the darkness. Not even his chilling chuckle is heard after.

"I'm warning you, if you do hurt my mate or my son, I will hunt you and kill you."

I don't hear anything and again nothingness fills the darkness. I don't hear the steady breathing of another being, only the pounding of my heart.

"Odetta." I hear someone say and it feels like I'm being pulled.

I jerk forward and feel comforting arm around my shoulder. Light fills my sight and I look around me while breathing heavily.

"Are you okay? Did you have a bad dream?"

"Casper. Thank God it's you." I sigh in relief and throw my arms around him. I try to be careful not to crush Javier who is sleeping in his arms.

"The flight here really wore you down huh?" He says as he caresses my cheek.

I shake my head, "it's not the jet lag, I just had this really weird dream."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No but a little kiss will help." I smile coyly.

He smiles at me and gives a small peck to my forehead, then both my cheeks, my nose and finally my lips. My eyes shut when the kiss deepens and I calm down instantly.

"You okay now?" He asks with a smile and I smile back. I nod and lay my head on his shoulder.

"You should head straight to bed with Javier when we get home. Commander Fabian is going to reside in the castle as the personal guest of the king and I have to go as his escort."

"Will you be back soon?" I take the hand that's not cradling Javier and intertwine our fingers.

"We'll probably have a brief meeting but I'll be back after you and Javier are fully rested. I already made chicken salad and and put it in the freezer so you should eat before resting."

"Thank you." I stretch a bit to place a small peck on his jaw and he smiles down at me before capturing my lips again.

"Are we going to discuss the other thing?" I ask referring to the pregnancy.

"Not now, but we'll have to confirm from the pack doctor tomorrow so get all the rest you can today and don't stress yourself okay?"

I nod and we spend the rest of the drive in comfortable silence with me trying to make sense of my earlier dream. If only Dakota were alive maybe she would have made sense of all that.

A sudden wave of sadness washes over me as thoughts of Dakota goes through my head. I feel tears fill my eyes and it takes a lot of strength to not breakdown.

Casper holds my hand tightly, "you're not okay." He states as he looks at me. "What's wrong? Talk to me."

"Dakota." I whisper and try to hold back my tears but they slide down my cheek anyway. He let's go of my hand and wipes my tear with his thumb while cradling my cheek. He presses his forehead against mine, "I'm sorry." he whispers.

"It's not your fault." I whisper back.

"Should I stay with you? I can have victor escort commander Fabian instead." he asks I'm concern.

I softly shake my head, "I'll be okay. You have things to attend to and when you finally come home, you'll make it up to me okay?"

"I don't feel comfortable leaving you alone when something is clearly wrong with you."

"I will be fine." I say and force a small smile, "and besides, I'd feel really guilty if you missed anything important because of me."

"You and Javier come first you know. Always." He brushes his lips against the palm of my hand.

"We'll be fine."

He looks straight into my eyes and searches for any trace of hurt before sighing in defeat, "I'll just be an escort and have them hold the meeting for another time."

"We're here alpha and Luna." A voice informs behind the private screen in the limo.

"Thank you James. You're dismissed for today, Anderson will be driving commander Fabian and I to the castle."

"Yes Alpha."

Casper steps out first with Javier in his arms. With one hand below his butt and Javier's head on his shoulder, Casper stretches out his other hand for me to take and I do. He gently pulls me out of the car and the I feel a gentle chill run through my hair.

"Odetta. How are you doing?" Sebastian jogs down the front step before throwing his arms around me. Casper narrows his eye at Sebastian but doesn't say anything.

"Don't worry alpha I have a mate." Sebastian teases and Casper just sighs.

"Your sisters have been keeping me company since you left."

"They're here in the capital?", I didn't know they were and no one informed me. I called Noel to tell him about max and he didn't tell me Faye and Quinn were coming to the capital.

"Your grandparents and my mate have been taking us round the capital to show us tourist spots. We went to castle once and Faye and the prince absolutely despise each other." He chuckles at the last part.

"Kinda hoping they would be mates." I said with a sigh of disappointment.

"It's the complete opposite." He said almost laughing now. "You should see them fight. You wouldn't believe the words she says to the future king."

"Where's Isabella by the way?" Normally Isabella would make an appearance with Sebastian.

"Victor took her out for lunch but I bet there are somewhere fucking."

"There's a child here Sebastian."

"He's sleeping."

"He can hear it in his dreams."

"Did his dreams tell you that?" He smirks at me.

"Enough Sebastian." Casper groans and pinches the bridge of his nose with Sebastian trying to hold back his laughter, "You have no idea how many times I almost snapped at Sebastian. He annoys everyone else when you're not around to bother."

I find it funny how comfortable Sebastian is with Casper now. "Did anything happen when I was gone?"

"Only passion." Sebastian says in a mocking whisper with the back of his palm pressed to his forehead and the other pressed to his left breast.

"I'm not amused Sebastian." Casper murmurs before turning to me. "I'll be going now love." He carefully hands Javier over to me. I put a hand under his butt with the other cradling his head on my shoulder.

"You sure you'll be okay?"

"Sebastian's here so I'll be good."

"Remember, heat the food, eat and rest." He tells me and turns to Sebastian, "Makes sure she rests properly. She shouldn't be over working herself."

"Yes Alpha." Sebastian says with a teasing tone and Casper gives him a look that says that he's going to snap anytime soon but Sebastian isn't bothered.

"Take care okay." He says and pecks Javier's forehead before giving me a small kiss.

"Where's mine alpha?"

"I won't hesitate to throw you out of my house and exile you from the capital Sebastian." Casper groans and murmurs a small 'I love you' to me before walking towards the suv where Fabian is behind the limo. He slides in and they drive off.

"Luna odetta, your bags are already in the house. Is there anything else you need?" James says with a small bow.

"No but thank you." I give him a small smile and nods before he enters the limo and drive away.

Hey guys,
How has your summer been going? Mine has been stressful. I'm doing my IT(internship) this summer and it isn't fun at all. I slept for 5 hours after coming home in the evening and I finished this chapter by 3am before watching anime and editing. I'm not doing anything that I enjoy. I study mechanical engineering but all I'm doing is sitting down and listening to a lecture about radios. It's not entirely boring but I would really love some more action but hopefully today I finally get some action. It's currently 7 am and I didn't sleep the whole night cause I didn't feel sleepy but now I feel so sleepy but I have to go for IT😩 (update cause it's 4pm now that I've finished editing, ready to publish. I enjoyed today's work. Can't wait for tomorrow) . I'm going to find a way to manage though and coffee normally doesn't do anything to keep me awake but I'll try it today. I'm so hungry cause I didn't eat dinner last night and I can't wait to go the kitchen without feeling like I'm disturbing the whole house since my parent are normally awake by 8 to 9ish to go to work.

*i realized how much mistake I make when I write😂probably autocorrect or my fat thumbs. I don't write on my laptop cause I do more serious writings like for writing competitions and school work there.
