The next morning, I don't feel any menstrual pain and I thank the moon goddess. I decide to see Javier today because I have reports on how bored he's has been lately without me to keep him company.

I order for breakfast to be sent up to my room and I shower. After taking a shower, I dress in a nice sundress before combing out my hair and putting on a little makeup.

"I can see you're feeling better miss." Jane says as she enters the room with a tray. She places the tray on my coffee table.

"Morning Jane . Thank you for the food and I am feeling a lot better." I tell her as she smiles at me and leaves. After coming to make my life a living hell yesterday, Noel had to go attend some urgent alpha business and thankfully he has been busy since then—but what he did yesterday warmed my heart, even though I'd never tell him.

I sit down and eat breakfast alone because it's almost   noon and I'm sure Javier has eaten breakfast already. I down my breakfast and wipe my lips clean with a napkin.

"Are you feeling better now?" Quinn asks as she comes out of her room at the same time I do.

I nod at her as she eyes me and then a smile makes a way to her face.

"Who is the lucky guy you've gotten all dolled up for?" She asks with a smirk.

I shrug, "No one. Can't I look good for myself?"

She ignores me and links arms with me, then she starts dragging me out of the west wing.

"I'm assuming it's for alpha Casper."

I dig my heels and stop my movements as I yank my arm back. She turns around to look at me. I don't even have a ghost of a smile on my face.

"Oh puh-lease don't give me that look, I should be giving you that look," I still have a scowl on my face. "You didn't tell anyone that you had a relationship or something similar with alpha Casper."

I want to curl up and die. I can't imagine how this looks and I'm reminded to talk to Alpha Casper about this new development.

"Alpha mason and Luna Alexa confirmed it and it hurt that you didn't even tell us. I'm sure it's not a relationship relationship but there must be something going on between the two of you. Right? That's why you've been hanging out with his son."

"Oh no—this is a mess." I bury my face in my palms, "This is not happening." I groan.

"Does Noel know about it? He didn't mention anything yesterday."

"I don't know. Noel can be a bit oblivious."

"Do Mum and Dad know?"

She nods in confusion. "You didn't want us to know about it?" She later asks.

I shake my head, "Alpha Casper just said that to make Mason stay away from me." I explain. "And it's gotten out of hand."

"That's actually really cute." She softly laugh, "A good meet cute story."

"Which would be nice except our meet cute wasn't cute. He accused me of kidnapping his son."

"It kinda did seem like it."

"Oh please, if I wanted to kidnap his son, No one would know."

"That sounds terrifying Ody." she says, throwing a worrying glance my way and links arms with mine once again before dragging me away.

"He's such an arsehole."

"I know." She has that dreamy expression on her face, "But think about it. Whenever I see him, he always has a neutral expression on. He only ever frowns at you. Everyone else gets a blank or neutral you. Doesn't it count for something?"

"A frown?"

"You invoke some kind out some kind of emotion in him—"

I cut her off, "Yeah. Anger."

"—The only other person that can do that is his son. That Anger can turn to passion. Maybe you could help him direct emotion into something." She wiggles her brow and I push her away with a laugh.

I shrug. "That wouldn't happen trust me. I'm not interested and he's not my type. I just like his son."

"I'll give you a couple of weeks to change your mind about him."

"Not going to happen. He frustrating, we might end up killing each other." I say and we finally stop in front of Alpha Casper's room.

There's a guard situated in front of it.

"Is Javier in there?"

He nods.

"Okay thank you." I say and walk towards the door but the guard blocks my way.

"I'm very sorry miss but I'm under direct orders from Alpha Casper to not allow anyone inside."

I frown and put my hands on my hips. I'm sure he dud it to spite me.

"I need to see Javier."

He shakes his head, "I'm sorry but i cannot do that." He bows slightly.

"But I'm not anyone."

"I'm very sorry but he gave strict others and I have to follow them."

I breath out and close my eyes before I open them and walk away with Quinn.

"I'm sure he did this intentionally. To spite me." I spit out.

"He's just protecting his son."

"Who knows how long poor Javier has been in there bored out of his fucking mind?"

Quinn softly laughs, "You have an obsession with the poor boy. Don't worry, he'll live."

I give a bump her with my hips and she laughs again, "He's just a breath of fresh air—I mean, I'm surrounded by all these Adults and not enough cuteness or innocence and Javier just brings all that."

When we get to my room, she flops down on my bed with a fashion weekly magazine while I lay on the couch watching a show.

"do you think this nail style will look good on me?"

I look at the magazine from my position on the couch as she turns the page towards me. The nail is great with different colours and it looks surprisingly good but it's a No from me so I shake my head.

She pouts, "It's really beautiful and all but it wouldn't fit you. The style clashes with your personality, It just seems like something that'll look better on Faye, not you"

She nods and sighs before her face lights up, "I have the perfect idea for you though." She runs out of the room and yells a 'be right back' over her shoulder and slams the door.

I go back to my show and the very soon,the door opens.

"That was pretty quick Quinn" I murmur, eyes still on the show.

"You and Alpha Casper?"

I jump and face him, "Noel it's not what you think."

"Then what is it?"

"Look Alpha Casper was just trying to keep Mason away from me. He followed me into the garden and saw Mason trying to force me to listen to him and stepped in. Nothing else." If he was angry before, he's furious and raging now.

"I'm going to have a talk with Mason."

"No." I know how his talks go, "Don't do that. It's okay. I'm sure Alpha Casper scared him plenty."

"I got it.", Quinn shrieks when she enters my room waving the nail polish in the air but stops mid-way and slowly back out of the room when she sees a very angry Noel.

"I want to know everything word for word. In detail." He demands.

I try to hold my ground and not tell him but the anger in his eyes tells me otherwise so I tell him everything.

When I'm done, Noel is sitting on the couch with his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose and his eyes closed.

"That bloody bastard. I should really kill him." He declares. "He forced himself on you. He could be punished for that."

I shake my head and pull him back down to the couch, "Please just–just let it be okay It's just for a couple more weeks." He nods but I'm still not convinced, "I'm really serious. Don't. Do. Anything."

"Or I should tell dad instead."

"No, that's even worse, just leave it alone. I don't want trouble."

He looks at me and sighs before nodding, "Okay just for you but if you change your mind, I'll be more than happy to beat him to a pulp and detain him."

"I'm firm in my decision. I don't want that." I say, "How did you find out? You're supposed to be oblivious and what not."

"During the meeting Mason brought up your relationship with Alpha Casper—Dad and I were surprised to say the least."

I want to know how Alpha Casper handled that. I know he figured out that Mason brought it up just to infuriate him.

"How did Alpha Casper react?"

He grunts, "Je did what he always does in meetings, not say anything and just have this resting bitch face. I kinda envy the man, the look fits him."

I laugh at his description.

"I have to go now, Alia needs me", he says and stands up. "Mate bond." He explains as he leave.

"Remember don't do anything stupid till I say so."

He nods and give me a mocking two finger salute.
