Kind of unbelievable how it all worked out.

Scott's a bit traumatized about what happened the night that Eliot took him home, but I'm helping him get through it.

I'm just happy that he's with me.

And you know that saying 'All good things must come to an end'?

Well, I believe that it's true and false.

I think it's true in the sense that things don't last forever, but it's false because not all good things come to an end.

Sometimes that's just how life works, you end up losing.

But mostly, you get to keep those happy moments.

Those things that bring you light and joy.

Just like how I got to keep Scott.

My light.

My joy.

My everything.

I love him to absolute death, and nothing will ever change that.

And nothing will ever take that away.

Not even Eliot.

I love you.

The sequel to The Jazz Café is over, and wow, what a sequel that was.
