First Person POV

Looking back on the accident, I say it changed me for the better. My boyfriend and I are a lot closer. My siblings look up to me more, and my parents see me more as an adult, not as some little kid. However, the accident also gave me a load of responsibilities, but I'll write about it later in my diary. I should probably introduce myself: My name is Claire Andersen. I live in a metropolitan area outside of New York. I go to school at Summerville High.

My boyfriend, Charlie Lynn, is one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. We first met when I became his partner for a science experiment during freshman year (we are now juniors). After a while, we started to hang out. I would sit with him and his friends at lunch some days, and on other days he would sit with my friends and I. His family is pretty rich, probably one of the richest in town. His Dad owns a science lab called 'Lynn Labs' and they research about biology and try to help the human race by doing experiments on animals. Don't get me wrong, I'm against animal testing, but I did apply for an internship there for the biology department.

My siblings, Katie and Keith, are pretty funny. Keith is a 15 year old who attends the same high school as me, while Katie is a 3rd grader who goes to Lakeside Elementary. I drive them to school everyday, since I don't have anywhere to be in the morning except to school. I know that when I got into my accident, they were so scared, for me and for their future without me (if I didn't make it).

My parents, Linda and Jay Andersen, are pretty cool. They love me, and they always see me as their little girl, and not as a soon-to-be adult. They were so scared when I got hurt, and I felt so bad for them when I was unconscious.

Anyways, now that I have you all caught up on the people in my life, I better start telling you about my accident and what happened on September 4th, 2019.

Hey y'all! First book that I've been writing (kind of basically based on a dream that I had 😂, but I thought why not). Also! Don't mind my bad grammar/writing. I honestly suck at writing, but I really wanted to write this and see how you guys like this!
Also, these are my OCs and the places I will mention will mostly be fictional.
