They turned simultaneously
Had it been a second too late
It would not have happened.
He turned
And his eyes found hers
Reigniting and old spark
One that had been lost
One that has been forgotten
He gazed at her
Deep eyes,
Swimming with emotion
She was mesmerized by his
Dark eyes,
Filled with mischief and mystery
They both moved towards each other
As though hypnotized
They met, fingers entwining
But could not get close enough
Their faces were a mere inch apart
Breaths mingling
And fireworks exploded
As their lips connected
