Challenger is: Lucifier

The day she arrived was the same dreary grey it had always been.

All you could hear was the sound of a hammer, it's continuous rhythm shaping the stone. The sounds of dirt crunching in a rhythm of the dead, with the clunking of metal to follow. The scratching of those who had seemingly been swallowed by the ground, left outside the gardens walls.

I watched the kingdom of sleepless nights and aching souls. The souls of the dead had always spooked me, the hollow eyes that followed them showed tales of grief and sorrow, it showed the life they had led before walking upon my land. The life they had led before hells wall.

As I said before, the sky had been a dreary grey when she had arrived. Her dress stood out in the sea of dull white and grey. It was the colour of lovers, it was colour of passion. But the only colour I could see was of *blood*. She had a quiet regal air about her, like she had all the time in the world.

A million questions were running through my mind, all parting in various directions as if to confuse me. There was someone alive within the walls of hell. Why.

She was brought to me by the lifeless old woman who had eyes of white. When she arrived, her toes danced across the floor towards me. In her hand was a simple letter that was addressed to the name lucifier.  it read about a kings wishes for his daughter to marry only the most worthy of knights and he set me as their challenger.

'That king must be foolish to believe any knight could have your hand whilst you stand here, in my kingdom.' I smirked at the thought of anyone being able to make it past these walls. Looking down on the supposed princess, I watched as a smile graced her face. Her soft voice rose from her like a flower in bloom.

'Well I hope you won't mind my company then, that is if you will except the challenge?'.

'Well my dear, you better settle in quickly because you're not leaving for a while'.
