  Izuku stood in the arena before Todoroki. He grinned, baring his fangs at his opponent. Todoroki took a stance, readying his right side.

  "Start!!" Midnight called.

  Todoroki threw a narrow spear of ice at Izuku.

  Izuku grinned, raising a hand.

  The ice shard was blasted by an explosion.

  The crowd watched, confused. Wasn't that the blonde's quirk from the match before?

  Todoroki stared at his opponent, as confused as the crowd.

  Izuku laughed maniacally.

  Katsuki was doing the same. He rubbed the two sore puncture marks in his arm.

  Ochako and Tenya looked at Katsuki's arm, then back to Izuku in the arena.

  They came to a realization at the same time.

  "Dear.." ".. Nezu!" They said.

  Izuku charged forwards, his hands outstretched towards Todoroki, letting off a pair of powerful explosions.

  Izuku decided to monologue.

  "Anything Katsuki can do with his quirk, I can do better! The drawbacks he normally gets are nullified by my insane healing factor, which means this match.."

  Izuku seemed to set off an atomic bomb at Todoroki.

  ".. Is over!" He yelled, blasting Todoroki out of bounds.

  The crowd were silent, the only noise being the cackling from Katsuki.

  "Mi.. Midoriya wins.." Midnight said in disbelief.

  The crowd cheered as Izuku exited the arena.

  He headed upstairs, sitting next to Ochako and Katsuki.

  "I didn't know you could do that!!" Ochako exclaimed.

  "That was most impressive. You defeated arguably the strongest in the class with two attacks." Tenya complimented.

  Izuku smiled at his friends.

  "Thanks guys. I'm against you next though Tenya. You'd better give it your all!" He said.

  Tenya nodded. "I will of course do my very best."

  The quadrio turned back to the arena, watching the arena get fixed. Izuku had obliterated it right after Katsuki.

  A little while later, and Izuku was facing Tenya.

  "Start!" Midnight yelled.

  Tenya raced forwards, spinning around to Kick Izuku. Izuku leapt into the air, hopping off of Tenya's leg and spring boarding over him.

  Tenya tried to turn, but Izuku tripped him up, pushing the teen towards the out of bounds line.

  Tenya grabbed Izuku's arms, using his engines to flip himself over the vampire.

  Izuku smiled, holding Tenya up by his arms only. Whatever direction Tenya leaned, Izuku would go to balance his weight.

  They approached the line, and Izuku threw his friend over it.

  "Midoriya wins!" Midnight yells.

  Izuku helps his friend up, and they both head back to their seats.

  "Well done." Izuku said. "You caught me off guard by trying to flip over me."

  Tenya smiled. "Your reflexes are incredible, you jumped off of my leg as I tried to kick you."

  Izuku smiled, sitting beside Ochako.

  "Katsuki's gone to his match against Tokoyami? This will be very one sided." Izuku commented.

  "Why is that?" Ochako asked.

  "Dark shadow's weakness is light. Katsuki is a bad matchup for Tokoyami." He explained.

  Ochako and Tenya nod in understanding.

 
  As Izuku predicted, Katsuki won the match with ease. Now it was time for the final match, between Katsuki and Izuku.

  "AND NOW, THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, THE FINAL ROUND OF THE TOURNAMENT!! KATSUKI BAKUGO, QUIRK, EXPLOSION! AND IZUKU MIDORIYA, QUIRK, VAMPIRE!! WHO WILL COME OUT ON TOP? WHICH IS THE STRONGER STUDENT? WE WILL JUST HAVE TO SEEE!!!" Present Mic announced.

  Katsuki stood at one end of the arena.

  "I know all your tricks Deku, you can't beat me." He said.

  Izuku smiled at his rival.

  "And I know your quirk inside and out."

  "Start!" Midnight called.

  Katsuki blasted forwards, flying high over the shadows cast on the arena. Izuku ran to meet him, dodging his right hook, and then his secondary kick, grabbing Katsuki's wrist and throwing him to the side.

  Katsuki slid across the floor, steadying his slide with smaller blasts. He ran to meet Izuku again, conserving his sweat, but stopped when a cloud partially obscured the sun.

  Katsuki froze, staring at Izuku, who's eyes glowed red, and fangs gleamed pearly white.

  The shadows around Katsuki whirled into a storm, obscuring his view of Izuku.

  Izuku ran towards Katsuki, circling behind him and reaching into the shadows. He grabbed his opponent and yanked him through.

  Katsuki had his hand extended, and the first thing to emerge from the shadows was a blast.

  Izuku stumbled back, then leaped forwards, catching Katsuki off guard. He stabbed his wrist once again, throwing his opponent over his shoulder.

  Katsuki stopped himself from crashing into the floor with his explosions, spinning around to be met by a fist to the chin.

  Katsuki, stunned, set a single foot over the boundary line.

  "Izuku Midoriya Wins the Tournament!!" Midnight yells.

  The crowd cheers, the loudest being Ochako and Tenya.

  Katsuki grins, slapping his rival on the back.

  "I'll get ya next time Nerd." He said.

  Izuku smiled, heading back to 1A's seating area.

  "You won!!" Ochako cheered. "That's amazing!!"

  "That was an incredible final match. Good job Izuku." Tenya congratulated.

  Izuku blushed, rubbing his neck.

  "Th-thanks guys.." he said.

  A few minutes later, and Izuku was stood up on the podium. He did it. He won first place!

  Katsuki stood up on second, pleased that he had fought as hard as he could. Tokoyami took third place by default, as Tenya had a family emergency, and had to leave.

  All Might dropped from the sky, presenting Tokoyami and Katsuki with medals, and giving them a private word via a giant All Hug.

  All Might turned his attention to Izuku.

  "Well done young Midoriya! It would seem you have won first place! Congratulations!"

  All Might put the medal around Izuku's neck as Izuku ducked his head.

  All Might wrapped Izuku up into an All Hug, leaning down to reach the much smaller boy.

  "Well done my boy. You were incredible out there!" He whispered.

  Izuku smiled with pride.

  All Might turned back to the crowd.

  "There you have it! The winners of this year's festival! However, do not feel down! Next year, I'm sure anything can happen! Each of the students has worked their hardest, so will you join me in saying it?" He boomed.

  "PLUS ULTRA!" The crowd yelled.

  "THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING!" All Might blundered.
