Arthur walked trough the building quietly. No one was here, though he wasn't surprised. This part of the building held the library, which barly anyone used. A shame too, the school paid for such a nice library and no one uses it.

The Brit only ever seen a few people use it before. But yet it was rather large. Tall shelves that stretched to the ceiling. Large windows to bring in light, even though the library always seemed dark and eerie. And circle tables in the middle of the room made it perfect for people to come and study and gain knowledge. But no one ever did.

Arthur would come here once in a while to read and get away from people. It wasn't that he was anti-social or anything, it was just he would rather be alone with a good book. He got enough of being social at home...

But it wasn't because Arthur's lonely! No of course not. He just worked better if he was alone. He talked to some people, well maybe two.

A Japanese student named Kiku and the schools student council president, Ludwig.

They were nice, he talked with Kiku and he was a rather nice young man. The German was too but he intimidated the Brit.

'I don't need anyone.' Arthur thought as he walked trough the long hall that led to the library. Once he was in front of the large doors he pushed them open easily and walked in.

"Hello?" Arthur called out. He waited for a response but no one answered.

So he shrugged and walked pass the front desk. He swiped his student ID on the computer and walked off.

He searched around in the quiet. The only sound was his feet as he walked around the many shelves of books.

He stopped when he found the shelve he wanted. He took out a book and looked through the pages. He sighed and closed the book and put it back.

He stopped when he heard something creak.

He looked around but couldn't find anything, so he dismissed it and went back to what he was doing.

Alfred smiled as he leaned against the book shelve behind Arthur.
