Chapter I
"Are your bags packed?" Lily questioned as she fell back on my bed, letting out a heavy sigh.
Lily is my best friend, she's been there for me since our packs became allies. Her father, George, is the alpha of Moon Stone. Apparently my father has known Lily's dad since there were little kids.
Lily is a spitting image of her father, minus the male gender. She has is wavy brown locks, that stop below her shoulder blades. She has a natural darker skin tone, with the occasional patch of freckles. Her crystal blue eyes always sparkled, full of joy. She isn't a completely 'fit' but she eats heathy and tries to work out.
My father is the alpha of his own pack, Crimson Blood. He claimed the title of Alpha many moons ago when he raided a pack territory while they were sleeping. He and George said they killed the alpha and beta with out anyone knowing, with help from their own warriors. I didn't ask about it much, not wanting to know much of the details.
"Ummmm, no....." I sighed and looked the the two empty suitcase I had on the floor.
"We are leaving tomorrow morning, what are you waiting for Beatrice?" Lily kicked her legs in frustration.
"I know." I rolled my eyes checking the time. "It's only 7:35, I have time."
"We are taking a three day trip, for a pack meeting," she let out an annoyed grown. "Just pack some clothes."
"I can sense that something is going to happen while we're gone though," I admitted.
"What do you mean?" She rolled over and made eye contact with me.
"I don't know," I sighed. "It's like my wolf is acting more skittish lately." I started to pick the fuzzies out of my white fluffy carpet that covered the majority of the hard wood floor on the right side of my bed room.
"Well you are nineteen maybe he's out there waiting." I knew exactly what she was talking about.
"I don't know," I sorta shrugged it off. "We are going to an alpha meeting you know for alphas." I put emphasis on alpha.
"Well maybe he's an alpha," she shrugged her shoulders.
The thought lingered in my mind. Maybe he's an alpha. What if he is, I would be a Luna. My heart raced at the thought. I would be his equal, not some lower class pleasure toy. Even though I'm the daughter of an alpha I will not be gifted with the alpha duties, that was passed down to my brother.
"Hello?" Lily was now on the floor next to me, snapping her fingers I front of my face.
"Yea?" I shook my head, causing my previous thoughts to vanish.
"Alright, Beezus you can continue to daydream while I pack for you." She started throwing clothes into my suit cases.
"Lil they need to be cute!" I argued throwing half of the stuff she put in back out.
"This is getting us nowhere," she sighed and continued to help me pack.

"Beezus come on get up!" I could feel the sheet being dragged off me.
"Five more minutes please," I groaned burying my head deeper into the pillow.
"We are going to be late!" I knew it was Lily pestering me.
"Who cares." I buried my face into my pillow, attempting to fall back asleep.
"Our fathers care!" She pull at my legs, dragging me off of the bed.
She continued to pull on my legs. I did nothing my to stop her which was a horrible idea on my part. Mere moments later, my body made contact with the hardwood floor creating a thud. The floor was freezing, making me slightly shiver. This is one of those moments that make me question my rug placements.
"Ow," I groaned as sat up.
"Well you wouldn't have kissed the floor if you had gotten up when I told you too." She was looking at me, with her hands on her hips.
"Well maybe I didn't mind kissing the floor." I added, as I stood up and dusted off my shorts.
"Grab your bags we are leaving in ten minutes." She showed no emotion, as she picked at her fingernails.
"Are you serious!" I started to panic and search around for a towel as well as some clothes.
"What are you doing?" She crossed her arms, as she watched me act like a fool.
"I'm going to take a really quick shower!" I called out as I left my room, and wandered down the hallway.
I could hear her giggling, as I turned on the water. I wasn't planning on talking a very long one, I didn't want to be late.
It felt like seconds before I stepped out into the cold air, of the bathroom once again.
I looked at myself in the mirror. My curly blonde hair was soaked and mangled over my small figure. My eyes a fusion of blue and violet, swirling within my iris. My eyes are this way because my wolf's eyes are violet and I was born with blue eyes. My eyes started to fuze both colors around my twelfth birthday.
I patted my skin dry and put on some lacy underwear. 'Gotta keep it sexy!' my wolf, Isabella, commented. I mentally laughed and threw on my beautiful mid thigh dress. It was pink with flowers decorating the upper part and faded into a white skirt. I put on mascara and a light pink lipstick. I raked through my mane and blow dried it for a wind blown look.
I stepped back and looked at the girl in front of me. A perfect princess!
I swiftly opened the door and headed back to my room to see a laughing Lily on my bed. "What's so funny?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"It's only 6:30," she managed to breathe out.
"It's only what?!?" I threw the towel and dirty clothes down on the floor and stomped over to her. My wolf wanted to kill her for taking away my precious sleep time.
"It's just a prank Beezus," a terrified look was plastered on her face. For a soon to be alpha she isn't overpowering.
"You woke me up an two and a half hours earlier! You are so dead!" I growled at I attempted to lunge at her.
"Beezus!" She screamed as she got up running out of my room.
I trailed after her, sliding into a wall of flesh. "Sorry," I knew exactly who I ran into.
"It's ok Pumpkin." My father pulled me into his embrace. "Why are you up so early?"
"Lil thought it would be funny to wake me up, and tell me that we were running late," I huffed.
"Lily Rose Willams, come here!" My father used his alpha command, preventing her from refusing.
"Yes, Alpha Richard." She slowly made her way back, with an apologetic look on her face. She is so close to my family she refers to to my father by first name. Any other wolf would have to refer to my father as, Alpha Tristan.
"Nice one!" He let out a hearty chuckle and gave her a high-five.
"Really?" I stomped my foot and stormed into my bedroom.
"Awe come on Pumpkin, it was only a joke," he tried to calm me down. Let me tell ya it's not working.
"I lost precious sleep over this!" I climbed up on my bed to hug my knees.
"Beezus it's just sleep." The floor creaked as my father began to walk toward me. I knew Lilly was trailing behind him.
"Mom would've supported my need for sleep." I huffed and turned me head the other way bracing the verbal abuse I was about to endure for bringing her up.
"Bea.." The name startled me. The only person to ever call me Bea was my mother. "It's all fun and games till you bring up Roseanne."
"Not cool Beatrice." Lily added before the sound of her feet shuffling across the floor indicated that she was leaving.
"I will tell George and your brother to get ready. We will leave soon. I'll notify Beta Dallas and his family as well." His tone was full of sadness. The way he left made me feel heart broken.
"I'm sorry dad." I tuned my head to watch him leave.
My mother was killed when I was seven; she risked her life to save me. My brother was attending an alpha training school at the time. Our territory was being raided by rouges. Their eyes glowed a crimson red, and their skins radiated with a red hue seeming like they were hot to the touch. She distracted them till the guards and warriors arrived. She couldn't stand a chance. She would've been killed right there on the spot, if it wasn't for my father. He arrived with the guards he ran towards the frenzy or animals and took them out in his phased form. She was taken straight to the hospital nearby once the raiders were eliminated. My father requested for Dr. Quentin, a werewolf Doctor. He wasn't in town. A human doctor took his place and was tasked with taking care of my mother. She was in Doctor Quentin's room, a room full of medicines to take care of werewolves. He gave her the wrong type of medicines, and wolfsbane was one of them. Wolfsbane prevents a wolf from being able to contact their wolf, phase, or anything thing that their wolf could do to help; with a large enough dose a werewolf could die right on the spot. Without access to her wolf she couldn't heal correctly. She passed away holding my fathers hand three days later. She told him to keep going for a part of her is still living, Magnus and I. Since that day he's treated me as his princess, but deep down I know he blames me for my mothers death.
